Pros: - Simple interface - Efficient approval path - Entering expenses is quick and can be done on the fly - Photo snapshots for attaching receipts is efficient and eliminates lost receipts - Status of each expense report is easy to check

Cons

Cons: - Everyone in the approval chain must be a user - There are small improvements needed, but no show stoppers, such as: - When entering new merchant, that merchant should be defaulted to the current expense record - New expense records should default to the Select Category screen

Finally create a bookkeeping system I can trust!

Pros

Snap a pic of an expense and either upload info manually or let the software do it. What I love is that I can upload many receipts and leave them in the Zoho account until I'm ready to input and sort. Really helps.

Cons

Only thing I don't like is that the reports are somewhat limited. I can't manually add in percentage (such as a 50/50 split for meals), but it's not hard to do manually.

Pros

We switched because Zoho Expense offered more features for less cost compared to what we were previously using. Expense reimbursement management made easy.

Cons

Sometimes it takes a chat/call to support to find a setting or remedy something not working as expected. I would prefer to have it be a little more intuitive in the finer settings, but support always comes through with help.

My team and I love Zoho Expense. We used larger solutions over the years. Zoho is easy to set up, implement and use. It makes expense reporting easy. This is coming from someone who used to DREAD expense reports as the software platforms were so clunky and ridiculous. We love it. Great Value.

Pros

Ease of use, iOS/Android App, fast and easy to set up and implement

Cons

There are no cons in our eyes. We truly can't find anything about it that is negative.

Happy, and always want more.

Pros

It is a great solution for small and medium enterprises. Easy to use, just the proper features. Easy to use apps on smartphones.

Cons

Well, for small teams it doesn't have problems. but when the team gets to be 100s of employees, then the complexity shall be thought in future by ZoHo to optimize the time spent on such app.

Overall experience I give a 4/5. Great for overall package vs cost, fairly easy to implement, great support. Draw backs were complications with GL account assignment to interface with our ERP system, iphone vs android app layouts and abilities are fairly different to accomplish the same tasks, and expense business descriptions need to be allowed more than 500 characters.

Pros

Very intuitive, next day ACH reimbursements, and auto scan feature.

Cons

Had to develop a work around to be able to assign GL accounts well for our accounting system. Ultimately made it work but there could be a better way if developed differently.

Pros

Zoho Expenses helps us to keep our employee reimbursements structured. Employees just upload their expenses and their managers can approve their reports. We are also using zoho books to keep track of our overall expenses. Zoho Expenses is very well integrated in zoho books. The tool saves us a lot of time.

Cons

There is no general per company subscription plan. You have to pay for every active user.

Pros

I like being able to keep bills that easily get damaged over time. With Zoho Invoice I can have a stored copy that I can later print and use it in the reports that You can generate.

Cons

I feel this software as a department of the billing suites. At first sight and already familiar it seems that you can not generate new options but we never know how Zoho can surprise us.

Pros

It takes care of bare minimum, but necessary stuff. No fuss about extra things. It's clean and very easy to understand.

Cons

I think the integration with Zoho Books could be better. There are some things like the fields in expenses here cannot be imported to zoho books invoices; and I think matching etc isn't possible in expense

Dissapointed

Pros

Connection with email. Receipts scanning. And I thought automatic payments through online reimbursement.

Cons

That I couldn't connect it with my bank and pay the expenses. The integration with Forte didn't work. I communicated with Zoho's support for more than 3 weeks. They kept on saying it's on Forte's side but it's their service.... I had to chase them just to get the same answer over and over again. "Please give us a couple more days"....

Reason for choosing Zoho Expense

I wanted to separate expenses between two businesses and still use the same email address from where receipts are sent. Definitely going back to Expensify and will figure a way to do it.
