Pros

I have really enjoyed using Zoho Expense to help managing our volunteers expenses as they travel. It make it a lot easier for them to upload receipts and then all i have to do is review and send out a check. The reports really helps us see where we are spending our money.

Cons

Works like they said it should. We did also purchase zoho book keeping and it seems like the two platforms are not connected or at least they are not out of the box so that was annoying.

I loved how it kept all my financial spending I made for my business and the the procurement I did it organized every thing. This software has every tool that you need to keep up with your finance's.

Cons

Running reports was a little difficult, it kept glitching on me.

If you pay reimbursements through ADP or similar payroll provider, there is not a function that allows you to mark the report as paid removing it from liabilities.

Pros

The service cut my workload in half by sorting the receipts instead of having to type the information out.

There is no section in itemized billing to set the quantity of the items purchased

Pros

I love that I am able to scan receipts on the go and add them to expense reports to view later. The multiple currency option is also super helpful when traveling to foreign countries!

Cons

At this point I see no drawbacks to using this program, it serves all my needs.

It was fairly easy to use once we got a few things figured out so the expenses also transfer to the invoice program

Cons

Yes it should be easier to enter multiple mileages or multiple trips to the same job so we didn't have to enter every single trip to and from

so simple to use, it becomes a joy to keep adding to it

Pros

simple and quick to use. I found a real simple approach to setup and to start inputting records

Cons

not a fresh as app software. It appeared a little clunky but it still worked fine.

Pros

Digital scanning of receipts from phone. Ability to set up multiple users and provide multiple levels of approval.

Cons

1\. Too much flexibility for Vendor Names. After establish 1 vendor name, would like that Vendor name to automatically populate the next time you start to type that vendor name vs. allowing a type over resulting in multiple entries for the same vendor. 2. Inability to see all users expense reports submitted and associated detail.

Pros

For an expense tracking app, it is a solid application. Zoho Expense is a simple and very easy to use. Logging expense with the auto scan feature is amazing. While testing it almost always got the numbers right, except for a few times but you can always edit it manually. The reports are very detailed and easy to generate. You can do a custom setup as per your company requirements and its up and running in no time.

Cons

As i said the auto scan is a hit or miss, but manual editing is a life saver. you just need to make sure to double check until they fix that issue. Plus the mobile app is a bit old school. Can be made more appealing.

Online tutorials were a bit hard to understand. I have used higher priced tools in the past and miss some of that functionality, but for the price, this was a perfect fit for us.

Previosuly my company used excel for all our expense reports. Switching to Zoho has made the accounting teams life easier and overall a more efficient experience for our remote employees.

Pros

Ease of use. The software is very flexible and is great for mileage use and reporting a variety of expenses. Lastly, this is probably the most affordable option for small to medium businesses.

Cons

The only two cons I encountered were customizing the reporting for different departments and printing the receipt images. In certain cases, multiple receipts needed to be printed and it would be nicer if those images could be consolidated across one page. Fprtunately, those images can be consolidated into one page. Unfortunately, they aren't spread out. The images are stacked underneath one another.

Convert FX currencies to report currencies - this is really convenient especially for our company that needs to deal with multi currencies constantly

Can't preview excel & pdf - have to download first - not that inconvenient but it will be better if we can just see details in preview

So easy to implement and no training required for employees. Support is excellent and immediate! Appropriate receipt capture capability and storage. I have used more expensive applications that can't compare in value to Zoho Expense.
