### "Don't Waist Your Money on Any Other Accounting Software"

We struggled to find a solution that would allow us to easily track the time for multiple employees and make billing as simple as a couple of clicks. Most everything we used or tried required multiple systems that either didn't integrate at all or didn't integrate well, and required a lot of time to prep invoices and collect payments. Frehsbooks eliminated all of those issues and paid for itself in the first month.

Pros

It saves my team hours of time every month. It easy to manage clients, track subscriptions, track hours and send invoices. Oh and it makes taxes season a breeze! The milage tracking feature has saved me over thousands per year in taxes since they released it.

Cons

The only complaint I have with Freshbooks is the Expenses feature. It has the ability to connect to your bank account to automatically pull in your charges, however, it never stays connected to our bank and it becomes a hassle. But they are great about helping to resolve the issue when it happens.

FreshBooks manages your financial and accounting management in your organization very effectively and efficiently. With FreshBooks, you can manage employee payroll and billing every month, and it assists me with all of the paperwork that I have to do for my business as a graphic designer, which makes it a whole lot simpler. also maintains track of all invoices and payments to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Pros

It's a really amazing piece of software that provides quick alerts. Excels in the area of financial reporting. When it comes to bank reconciliation, the general ledger is really helpful. Excellent in regard to project accounting. It's particularly useful for financial reporting. With team cooperation and rapid notifications, you can rely on it. Excellent at streamlining workflow management. The user interface is just fantastic.

Cons

Perhaps it might be made more user-friendly and simple to use. I get a little lost in all of the features that are available. FreshBooks has a wide range of features that allow you to handle all aspects of your accounting, but there is always room for development and updating.

It's used for projects that can cover their own costs. It's dependable, and I have no interest in switching to something else. One unified accounting system will allow us to grow from a medium to a large business with less disruption and increased accuracy.

Pros

With its built-in team collaboration features, any comments made about projects or company goals can be recorded for later reference in reports. Fresh Books has a time tracking feature that is useful for medium and small enterprises.

Cons

It is helpful to have more barcode tracking and postal service integrations. It would be beneficial if the rapid payment feature were made available through more global neobank gateways.

### "The Worst online Invoicing System on the planet"

Freshbooks is the worst company I have every dealt with. I had a legitimate complaint about the software duplicating, triplicating and some times four versions of the same transaction. They ignored my complaint for over a year and when I finally reached a VP to discuss, then cancelled my account in under 48 hours losing years of business information, including invoices, contacts etc. Freshbooks goal is to get your money and then destroy you business. To add insult to injury, 18 months after Freshbooks canceled and deleted my account, they charged my credit card for another year subscription. Basically Freshbooks wants your money, prepared to sell you a horrible solution, will kick you off if you complaint too loudly and then charge you for another year with zero accountability. Freshbooks should be facing fraud charges and or a Class Action lawsuit. I expect either very shortly in the future.

Pros

The software was easy to use and did allow me to set up a single customer with multiple email address (you can not do this on Quickbooks)

Cons

The software was horrible. It would duplicate, triplicate and sometimes four times recreate the same bank account or credit card entry. this made life for my book keeper a nightmare. You then complain about this oversight and Freshbooks would ignore your complaint, indicate it was a once only issue (which it never was) and eventually will kick you off their platform with less than 48 hours notice losing years worth of business information, including invoices, contacts etc. Freshbooks will go down in the Hall of Fame of worst business software platform ever. My advise to all is avoid this platform at all cost and use another online solution. Freshbooks will screw you over the first chance they get.

Highly enjoyed my experience and would definitely recommend this tool for service providers and subcontractors offering a few services to a handful of clients. This will streamline your revenue collection and make you look extremely professional in the process.

Pros

The ease of use was what I liked most about this software. Other tools had cumbersome set ups and took a while to integrate properly. I joined FreshBooks and sent an invoice the very same day with a few button clicks.

Cons

There wasn't anything I didn't like about FreshBooks. The only reason I choose to leave it for another software solution is that my bookkeeping and accounting needs expanded Freshbook's capabilities.

I needed a solution that allows me to invoice my clients and send them reminders as I often forget to. It integrates nicely with my existing technology stack, so when a client books a session using my booking tool, via zapier, an invoice is automatically created and sent. Only downsides I have is that for the price I am paying, 50 active clients is not enough (I keep having to archive clients). I don't use any of the other features, and so while the pricing is competitive when you factor in everything else. For my use of just auto-invoicing and collecting payments via Stripe, it's a bit much. But there is no other option, or ateast one that I have found.

Pros

Being a Canadian business it was important that I find something that can integrate with local banks. Freshbooks does just fine. Tax management is simple and straightforward. I can use my existing Stripe account without paying additional fees. And my biggest need was automated reminders to collect payments.

Cons

Very surprised that templates are not as feature rich and don't show half the time. the 50 user limit it too little in their first tier plan.

The most attractive feature that motivated me to opt out to check the trial is it can be integrated with other software like Gmail. Besides it helps to create invoices fast with reception of funds as quick as possible. Finally, this offers excellent expense management feature which helps businesses to spend right.

Cons

May be less effective for complex business setup where they need scheduled payment and inventory management frequently.

It has a wonderful user interface that makes it feel very simple to use, and it has a fantastic or rather outstanding collection of templates you can use right away for different accounting requirements.

Cons

It can be difficult to pay according to tiers, from Lite to Premier., WePay recommends having a Chase bank account if you want faster payment.

Pros

Simple invoicing tool especially who need it for API integration. Very good tech support. There were only few problems for the last five years.

Cons

We've used Freshbook for five years since 2013. Very simple invoicing tool with limited functionality though. But it worked good for us and the support was fast and helpful. We paid a little bit annually for "evergreen" plan. We integrated FB API through our websites and our payment systems. But last year Freshbook suggested a new plan which was three time more expensive. We declined it and after few emails back and force we accepted the apology from the freshbook's staff along with the promise to keep the existing plan for us. Yesterday I had a phone call , who offered us a new plan again - six times more then what we pay now. It is obvious Freshbook is transforming from an invoicing tool into a merchant. But we have our own merchants including popular paypal (it looks like won't be supported soon at Freshbook) and all we want is to keep what we came here for - invoicing. It will cost us lot (more then triple yearly fee I figure) to move data, set and tune a new API invoicing tool. So if you decide to do business with Freshbook - think twice about possible "new plan" trap we ended up with and read their terms well. There are other cheaper and better solutions available. Or develop your own system - our choice.

I used Zoho for years for time tracking and invoicing, but it did not allow me to add another user. I also wanted accounting capability. I tried Quickbooks Online for a trial run, but it had too many features I did not need, and was far above what I wanted to pay. Also, certain functions like time tracking for multiple users, was an added expense on top of everything else. I needed something simpler, but that covered the basics of time tracking for multiple users, invoicing, and basic accounting, while not charging me for bloated features that a small business like myself would not need or use.

Cons

Unfortunately, FreshBooks does not offer capabilities for global enterprise corporations until it is integrated with external accounting apps like QuickBooks Online.

Good initially but got less and less happy to the point I switched in January of this year. Support is responsive but problems arent fixed and they seem to increase every month. Very frustrating to do simple things like allocating a large payment across a number of invoices.

Pros

I loved it at the start the simplicity - the ease of use without being an accountant

Cons

More and more negatives crept in when it moved to the new format. So many everyday tasks required awkward workaround, Things didn't work as they should and support didn't fix them just provided alternative ways of achieving the same - in a very roundabout manner.

still love it and it relly did change how i do and think about bissness its ashame i dont quite feel i can not use them as my 360 exsample of from product to marketing to customer srvice that i used to but i have hope they will fix some of the software interface quicks and make them simple and as easy as before , as i used to love recommeding them and still would for there customer service alone

super easy to use and got me up and running stright away any issues i had i called them right up and boom sombody on the other side of the phone no robo call deal a real knolagable human telling me how to fix it , there marketing and custmoer service blew me away so much i used them as a exsample of how it sholuld be done to my clients

Cons

few little things with the old software like quirks in exspences that we found work arounds , but then moving to the new software i am still getting used to is but no paypal payment now not a big deal also harder to find old invoices and clients its just very diffrent but still seems to work ok and the customer service is still great so im sticking with it for now , i can see how it looks better and wants to be better but it just feels less intuative and simple , yet i know thats what they are going for just my poinion , oh and the serch is now super tough for me as a dyslexic as you have to spell out 3 to four letters befour it give me options making it very frustrating almost usless

I work in a college and print/design for faculty/staff and students. Because of the high volume of jobs it was easy to miss paperwork when jobs were being given to me by email, phone, and walk-ins. Also, my office was not able to accept cash which was difficult for students. Several years ago I started using Wufoo for creating job request forms. It was working well with PayPal integration, but invoices would go out immediately so if they were entered incorrectly or the job changed, it caused confusion when alterations had to be made. FreshBooks was the integration that enabled me to have invoices only go out when the job was fully completed. It also helped me to keep track of what invoices were getting paid and which ones weren't. I love the reports that totally help me at the end of the fiscal year.

Pros

Ability to see all the jobs for each client. Ability to add contacts to the clients - in my case, to add secretaries names to the faculty accounts. Ability to have my student workers be able to assist with the outgoing invoices to ease up my time for other matters. Can add expenses to see exactly what's coming in and going out. Automatic 30, 60, and 90 day overdue notices. Integration with PayPal so invoices can be paid that way if preferred. Would love to use the ability where FreshBooks can keep track of your inventory, but since some of my jobs are paid ahead of time through Wufoo and never have to get transferred over to FreshBooks, it wouldn't be accurate.

Cons

Clients names are always listed by the business name - in my case, by departments or offices. I would prefer that I actually see the person's name. I wish it would give the option of which you'd like to see. Only certain information is sent from the Wufoo form to FreshBooks - I would've liked even just one more box of information to move from one to the other. I couldn't get a clear answer on which one (Wufoo or FreshBooks) was the one that created that code. There is nothing from Wufoo (like an invoice #) that shows up on the FreshBooks invoice to connect the two.

It has options to create your Invoices, It can log a chart of your daily expenses, It can track time for your project, You can also log a chart or remaining payments, it creates a log of your weekly, monthly and annual report of income, expenditure, and overheads or your business, Furthermore, Freshbooks have made your business easier than before.

Cons

This is a paid software so that after completion of your trial version, It will ask you for a payment method. A large business person can afford this type of software but a small scale business person is unable to afford this software for his regular business.

Excellent Tool for the Small Business Creative

Pros

I like how easy it is to track billables, how easy it is to create estimates and turn them into invoices, how wonderfully the app tracks invoices, expenses, and payments. I always know when my client has viewed the invoice. Freshbooks makes bookkeeping and accounting easy, and this is a plus for us with non-traditionally-logical creative brains. It is wonderful that I can use Freshbooks on my laptop and on the go with my cell-phone or tablet. The functionality is great for most users. I do need to track time (sometimes, just for myself to ensure I am on top of the project projections). I love that I can input receipt images - on the go - directly from my phone's camera or can upload them through files on the laptop/desktop app. I have used Quickbooks in the past, and it was far more robust than I needed. I am a one-person creative company and just needed time-tracking / estimate generation / invoicing / payment tracking / and expense tracking. And, of course, the lovely printable reports for my accountant. Freshbooks far surpasses my expectations.

Cons

It would be nice if I could set up invoicing once or twice a week and have it go out automatically on the date specified without having to create a recurring item. I like to do my desk work one day a week and if I knew I was invoicing someone at the end of the week for an already known amount, then I would like it to automatically send the invoice that day rather than me remember to go into Freshbooks and hit the send button on the draft. (I have a client that only wants to be invoiced every other Tuesday, but Tuesdays are busy for me so I do up her invoice for the work completed two weeks behind. I do my desk work after work hours on Fridays as that is the day my hubby is out and it does not interfere with the work day. Every other Tuesday I have a calendar reminder ping me to send her the invoice. It works for me. But, I would really love to schedule it and forget it.
