I love how easy and straightforward it is. Also, I have NEVER been disappointed by customer service. Freshbooks helps me feel confident I am navigating my business well.

Cons

I don't really understand the receipt upload feature for expenses.

I left QB for Freshbooks (FB) after my accountant recommended them and I have looked back. The are the industry leader in my book (pun intended). The fact that I can call any time and have a real person answer the phone to help me is key to my success. The reps are well versed, super professional and fun. It used to take me 2 hours to do my invoicing, but now with the FB timers both online and on my devices, I am able to clock my time and project anywhere and it is all there at my fingertips on invoicing day, which now takes me about 10-15 minutes. Boom! Done!

Pros

The app is great, they check in on you periodically, you can speak to a person right away, no automated system, you can link your credit cards and bank accounts to the FB account so all your expenses, etc are automatically logged.

Cons

Can't think of anything right now.

### "Exactly what I need in accounting software"

My needs are not complex, but unique for my small business as a solo entrepreneur in the creative field. I wasn't finding what I needed with other solutions but Freshbooks really has been nailing it for over 2 years for me. Being able to get invoices out quickly and accurately, keep tabs on who has or hasn't paid and my expenses, both from my desk and mobile is exactly what I need to stay on top of my business.

Pros

Flexible options make it easy to work with a variety of clients.

Cons

I wish I could send the files I've created for clients along with an invoice that they could only access once the invoice, or a percentage of it, has been paid.

The possibilty to manage for my own the payments, billing and budgets of my business, and not need a external person for do that work for me.

Pros

I never could have imagined that make billing, payments and control my budget as a freelancer it was so easy until I find Freshbooks, in two or three clicks I have a formulated ready to people for pay me and I can create my bills without any complication, this app also accepts payments from so many countries and in different currencies, that is a great deal when you are a freelancer. Freshbooks also offers the possibility to use in another devices like smartphones and tables, so you can always keep in trace about your businees no matter where you are.

Cons

It was a little difficult for me to start because my knowledge of adminsitration processes are so limitated, but with the time I can handle the app for my own and get the most of it.

Great experience, easy to use. Customers like quotes and invoices and I like the ability to create them off my mobile device quickly and easily.

Pros

Ease of use, mobile app, ability to have a ticketing system for customers, ability to have subs long hours in the system, ability to create professional looking quotes and invoices on the fly, integration to credit card and bank accounts to track and attach expenses to jobs.

Cons

Not perfect. May need a supplemental software to handle certain accounting functions, but that need has been decreasing as new features are introduced.

Writing about my overall experience about FreshBooks I would say it is surely the best ever accounting software which is strongly recommended to others.

Pros

FreshBooks has become my most favorite product because of its interesting features. As it is available in reasonable price so it is the most fascinating factor. Moreover it is super duper easy to use. What I like most about this product is its integration with several other programs. It consists of wide variety of templates in order to beautify our work. It offers great customer service which is another appreciable thing. It provides us excellent opportunities for handling finances of companies effectively and efficiently. It rightly fits all our accounting needs.

Cons

As far as I am concerned with this product, it is absolutely an amazing product. It is no less than a blessing. It works so nicely that I have become a big fan of it. Moreover, I never come across any hindrance while using this product.

Overall I'm pleased with Freshbooks. There are some things I don't like about it (as indicated in the Cons question.

Pros

Freshbooks is easy to learn, use, and continue to utilize. It has a clean and easy-to-understand interface. Recurring invoices are sent each month on time. I never have any issues with funds transferring to my bank account.

Cons

I very much dislike the fact that there are so many additional options blocked behind secondary / tertiary paywalls. I feel that with the price I pay each year most/all of these features should be unlocked. An additional $20 or more per month to be able to automatically charge a saved credit/debit card is ridiculous.

I absolutely love this software. I could go on and on about it, but I might not be able to stop myself. It gets my highest recommendation, especially for creative professionals.

Pros

Pretty much everything. This app is perhaps the easiest to use software that I use in my workflow. It is outstanding. You can create an invoice in seconds. I also like the feature that lets you know that a client has viewed the sent invoice.

Cons

This is a tough one. I guess I will have to say that I wish the iPad version had more features.

Freshbooks allows us to fully engage our accounting, auditing and invoicing power all in one dashboard. And that is something that we desperately need, because efficiency in our workspace is highly valued.

Pros

I like how it has built in invoicing and readily export everything to a spreadsheet for easy balancing and book monitoring. I like that it goes readily with an iOS app so we can use it on the go.

Cons

More integrations with payment methods. They probably could expand to direct point of sale and other payment methods. But beyond from that, I have nothing bad to say against Freshbooks.

Pros

What I like most about freshbooks is the easy to use interface. I was able to learn how to use it fairly quickly even though there are lots of options.

Cons

This software has been meeting the needs of my business for many years. If I want to change one thing I would lower the price.

Can't complain. It's not overly complex and makes keeping track of my bills and clients much more doable.

Pros

You can't beat the ease of use and features that are included. I have a lifetime deal for another online accounting software and it just can't come close to the necessary features and ease of use that FreshBooks does. I'm still paying for FreshBooks and will remain doing so in the foreseeable future because it's just too awesome. I can invoice my clients monthly, send simple quotes (when a more detailed one isn't necessary) and track all my expenses. It really is a great tool for my business and makes keeping track of expenses so simple

Cons

It has absolutely every feature I've become accustomed to which allows me to do what I need and that's a con because it can get pricey. There are cheaper options out there but they just can't compare so thanks to FreshBooks I'm ruined for the competition.

Freshbooks has afforded us the ability to handle day-to-day bookkeeping without having to pay an accountant. We're able to manage most of our financial tasks ourselves which saves us a lot of money over the course of the year. Now we only need our accountant for year-end taxes.

Pros

Freshbooks was easy to learn and implement in our office to help with bookkeeping. As a designer, my least favorite thing to do was the business side of things, but Freshbooks made the process so much easier that I don't dread it anymore. We can bill clients, pay vendors, track project profits, and more all from one place.

Cons

Learning how to use the software from a non-accounting background can be a bit of a challenge, but once we were able to figure everything out it made the process a lot easier. I do wish that more than one user could use the program at the middle tier without having to pay extra.

Instead of each time checking the transfer of my bank details as well the process of the communication with the clients through the other networks, I am now able to do all of the required things for my work to do in one app.

Pros

I can easily check my daily productivity as well while working with the clients it is more easy to communicate and to put everything in a proper order and to to check the balance of my accounts. Especially I am working as freelancer and I am dealing with many clients on the academic writings and each time the process of the communication and the payments are making too much complicated situations in which I waste too much time however with Freshbook , I am able to manage all of them under one app.

Cons

The customer care service needs to be improved and I would rather prefer to have live chat on the webpage in case of any difficulty to be able to communicate.

Pros

FreshBooks is a godsend. One of the biggest difficulties and differentiators between full-time and freelance work is sending out invoices, soliciting payment, gently reminding clients, tracking payments, and making sure your remuneration isn't forgotten. FreshBooks takes that large amount of important work (that nobody pays you to do), and makes it nearly effortless. With a few clicks or touches, you can have a digital and/or paper invoice mailed to a client. You'll never touch a stamp or seal an envelope, and you'll effectively eliminate the biggest time sink that you can't bill you clients for. I love FreshBooks.

Cons

There's little to dislike. They charge a fair fee for the time and trouble that they save you. Perhaps there is a limit to the features and customization available to a FreshBooks user, but that's never stopped me from greatly appreciating the service.

The pricepoint is just perfect for the amount of value it offers small and medium scale businesses. I like that Freshbook is cloudbased , thereby removing the need for installation of any software. Freshbook has been wonderful for my team ,helping us organize our invoicing process ,reminder client partners to pay up their bills ,thereby ensuring our client businesses now pay their bills faster than they used to ,It also has been effective in the area of controlling team expenditure ,ensuring every team within the company does not exceed their budgetary allocation.

Cons

I wish Freshbook would provides us with more invoicing template than is currently available to choose from.

Pros

FreshBooks is so easy to use. It is completely user-friendly in every way. I work from home for a small business. I use FreshBooks daily to keep track of my working hours. I can easily send my boss an invoice with all my logged hours. Freshbooks sends me a weekly update on my hours that I've logged and how much is owed. It's great!

Cons

I really cannot think of any cons. It could be a little bit more obvious on how to log that an invoice has been paid. The steps it takes to do that may be a bit confusing for first-time users.

first and for most you cant beat getting a 30 day free trial, plus freshbook offers partial payments unlike other websites.

Cons

basically if you dont use all of freshbooks features as intended.'which is pretty expensive'. ypu will be left with just a few choice features which are only benifical if you have a low client count.

Up and running almost immediately. Good tracking of all AR functions.

Pros

Simple nice powerful interface on Classic desktop version. Fast invoicing and AR reports. Good email distribution of invoices and great list of historical events. Easy to design invoice templates.

Cons

Too much shielding from underpinings; particularly chart of accounts and GL functions. Perhaps too much focus by Freshbooks on mobile interface and functionality. We only need bookkeeping on desktop.
