I highly recommend it Pros It offers a wide range of accounting tasks that can be performed instantly, allows better control as we can synchronize with a bank account to automatically track expenses and accounts receivable, offers excellent customer service, ease of use and Best accounting application for iOS and Android devices. Cons FreshBooks does not allow estimates of quarterly tax payments, so you must calculate them by hand or use a different program, your subscriptions vary but the basic subscription only allows users to save five clients, this results a great limitation. We feel good that our customers are receiving a nice professional looking invoice with the ability to pay. There is great tracking and history of the customer interaction with estimates and invoices. Freshbooks will solicit reviews from customers which we can easily push to Facebook and other social media. It's a great value for our needs. Your clients can even pay the invoice through the program. It's great for helping with your taxes at the end of the year as well. I highly recommend for the self-employed and small business owners. Pros FreshBooks is very easy to set up and use. It allows you to look professional when sending invoices and helps keep track of money owed, money paid, and expenses. I recommend it to everyone in need of a bookkeeping software. Cons They limit you to five clients on the first step paid version. I think they should allow at least ten clients. It's a bit frustrating to have to delete a client who perhaps doesn't use your services as often in order to add a new client. Also, the description element on the invoice needs to be tweaked. My clients tell me when viewing the invoice on their phones they do not get the full description. Instead they only get the first line, which is too general.
