June 12, 2017 5.0 Pros I can set up invoices and track sales, calculate expenses and have our accountant use this program for our tax returns. Cons I don't like the inventory tracking system. It doesn't really work well for me, so I don't use it. Self Employed Computer Software Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "This one is simply outstanding when compared to its price" June 11, 2020 5.0 Considering all the factors, I will say that Freshbooks is the one software that a freelancer can use for its simplicity, cheapness, fast approach and etc. I won't recommend it to companies for their accountings, but it's not a not-go thing. Pros The features they provide here are not given by the high tier accounting software available in the market. Since I am a freelancer, the other softwares were too much heavy for me to use as it is meant for company accounts. But here, Freshbooks made the system way much easier for a person to handle as it provides easy invoicing. And of course, it's cheaper. Cons Its obvious that some features that the other high paid softwares given are not found here as the price here is low. Also it will be difficult for handling complex accounting situations. Pros Super easy to use, I find it essential to my business. You can invoice, track your time and print out profit and loss statements quickly and easily. Pros FreshBooks is always "fresh" in the sense that all accounting entries are properly balanced and managed. This cloud accounting software makes the accounting easier and efficient. I like the reports it provides from the Debit and Credit till the Income Statement reports. All business transactions are perfectly accounted for and you can closely monitor the "balancing" of business operations particularly the financial aspects. Cons The software can be accessed online anytime and anywhere so the management can easily check of what's going on with the business. Pros Great for the mobile tech on the go who perhaps doesn't need to full suite of Quickbooks. Great for processing mobile payments and invoicing on the go. Cons Subscription based model for accounting. With QB you can at least get by purchasing a single unit and using it for several years. Subscription model keeps you tied to FB. Also no options to import data currently. Pros Una de las cosas que mas me gustó y que no he visto es otros software de CRM o facturas, es el estilo actual y diferente que tiene para crear las facturas, me parece innovador y es algo que seguramente te hará ver como una empresa grande y moderna ante tus clientes. Muy completo, integración con bastante cantidad de bancos para llevar el control de tus gastos. Cons Dos cosas me parece que le hace falta, lo primero es que el correo que se le envía al cliente debería contener un PDF con la factura, aparte del enlace para ir a la página y ver la factura en linea. La segundo que esperaba era poder agregar un método de pago como por ejemplo paypal, que permitiera a los clientes acceder a su cuenta paypal y pagar directamente el monto de la factura. It was easy to use, especially when I was travelling and keeping track of expenses on the go by taking photos of receipts. Pros The best part of Freshbooks is how organized everything is. I no longer lose track of receipts. I can find out how my business is doing, and getting paid is so easy. Cons When I only had a few clients, it was super affordable, but as my company grew, I had to decide if I wanted to expand my plan with FreshBooks.
