I love the ability to send out professional looking quotes and estimates per email, and also see whether the customer has viewed my email or not. My customers appreciate being able to pay online, and I get paid fast. Pros Detailed reporting, ease of use, great app for iphone and ipad, ability to accept credit cards, recurring invoices and recurring payments. I don't have hoards of clients yet, so I get to use Freshbooks for free right now. Super helpful for the tiny budget and cash flow. Freshbooks invoices are user-friendly for me and my clients. The client PayPal payment option is easy for my clients to use and makes me look uber professional, too. Freshbooks just makes me look good from every business angle! I LOVE Freshbooks and the great people who work for me there! Cons Um, nothing? I haven't needed to utilize more of Freshbooks options to know what I like least about anything. Pros I started freelancing last year, and chose Freshbooks to manage my time, expenses, and send invoices. They make all of this dead simple, in a stylish design that stays out of the way and helps me save time. Cons There is little to say here, I only wish I could add team members for less money. It was easy to use, great report templates, invoices, etc. Cons The price is what did it for me. Remembers previous rates, templates, clients and also structures that you set in place. Very user-friendly, even for those not so technical. Also enables you to look over previous invoices and notice what has and hasn't been paid for. Cons I think the freemium model has recently gone, otherwise great to work with. Freshbooks provides just this. It offers a flexible pricing plan, custom branding, credit card payment gateway integration, recurring subscriptions, and collecting online payments all through the same system. The other advantage in my opinion is that Freshbooks offers a fully featured mobile app, so whether you are using iOS, or Andriod, you can have access to your accounting software wherever you are. I would encourage you to look at Freshbooks as a solution for your accounting needs and take advantage of their 30-day free trial. " April 9, 2018 5.0 Easy to use tool to invoice my clients. Pros I am using the free version and never had an issue with it. I've been using it for almost 10 years. The interface is clean and simple, and I love that I can track my projects using the computer and also on my phone with the timer feature. I don't do enough with my business to need to upgrade to a paid version but I would consider it if I went freelance full-time. Cons The invoice template is a little dated looking, but it doesn't bother me enough to figure out how to change that. Pros I liked the wide variety of features that the software provides including sending a quote to a client. Personalized invoices that can be sent to clients adds a good personal touch. It is really easy to get paid by your clients including the feature for late fees. It is also easy to calculate the expense of one's own business. Cons Some of the reporting functionalities can be improved. Minor glitches and bugs that is prevalent while moving from one page to another. Seeing the overall picture with the dummy data might help. With one click add the toy data and clear the data if users want to try their own data. Pros I like dashboard everything users need are there at one glance you can see it. Navigation was easy. The left panel is great! I like categories for spending and others, graphs for reports are really nice. The web version is fast, navigation is super fast. I liked the ads on google play. It could be better if you add the Dashboard as well. Cons Starting the application on the demo needed some works. The website asks for Name, Address, etc, I would like to suggest to make it as simple as possible. Users can fill their info later. As I started moving into seasonal work and started another company in a different field, I continued to use Freshbooks for invoicing clients because it was so simple. Things are more complex now and I'm trying to find a solution that works for me but right now, my wife and I have 3 separate companies and so to get the best use of it, I need 3 accounts, which I don't have so it's been interesting trying to use a single account. We have a Hypnotherapy practice, a Performance Mentoring service, and a Group Coaching and Mastermind program. It's the two of us and a team of VA's. It's a huge time saver. Cons The expense reporting is tedious when going through a large number of expenses. The best thing about using FreshBook is that is is mobile user-friendly and access to use anywhere as long as there is wifi. Cons FreshBook could use a better reporting feature.
