Pros It was very easy to set up and utilize. All of the features functioned as advertised and the interface was attractive and intuitive. It has 13 features in total which makes it an all-in-one solution for accounting, invoicing & bookkeeping with many other tasks for any business size. Cons Nothing to complain about that much. Every one of this items are reflected on the invoice, at the end of the project, even with a remainder from the software. Pros The desk of the software is easy to understand and to work with. I can navigate on a proposal, invoices and estimates for any client I want. It's very easy to deal with the invoices with remainders and keeping track option for any costumer. In addition, I can accept any payment method possible. Cons The only thing I find out is the invoice system have to be made one at a time, is not an automated process, because of the characteristics of each costumer and vendors, it's a little bit time consumer Review Source ER Elizabeth R. My VA uses this software every day. Highly recommended. Cons Some of my clients are paying via PayPal and this payment option doesn't seem to be available anymore. Best to have this payment back. I can easily keep a track on all my Invoices like: payments made or payments due. Cons The trial period is very short i.e. only 30 days. Customer service is a bit late. Used the software for: ### "Freshbooks for startups" April 14, 2017 4.0 It's hard to justify any expense as a startup on a shoestring budget. Starting plan is very less for recurring billing up to 5 clients. There is a trial period, but sometimes you just need a lot longer of a period to get the business off the ground. For example, and I've moved a little slow, I started in Dec and just now in Apr got my final inspection approved. Would have liked to be able to build this platform into my business practice, but that would have been in my expenses for limited use. Anyway, product is not bad by any means, good features, very comparable to QuickBooks, but not free like Wave, although I do like the features of Freshbooks better than Wave. Responsive and helpful support, and the software is incredibly helpful to my business. I've recommended a number of friends over the years. Pros Allows monthly clients to save a credit card and auto-bills them on the schedule I set. No more chasing down invoices. Did wonders for my peace of mind. Cons Had one hiccup with altering an existing recurring template that ended up auto-billing a client multiple times, leading to his card being cancelled. It’s really easy to use and helps me be organized—especially on the go. If my business were to grow, however, Freshbooks as it is may not be my first choice. Pros Freshbooks is extremely easy to use which is so important in the very daunting task of finance managements. The apps are excellent which is really important for mobile businesspeople, like myself, who rely on their phones primarily for business. Cons The actual accounting aspect to Freshbooks is very limited, which makes it less of a one-stop software for bookkeeping needs. I was able to start using the software from the first time I opened it. Its design made it really clear and easy to find the features that I was looking for as well as allowed my employees to be rapidly onboard. I also used it with some IPADs at work and the experience was smooth. I was also able to export the data that I wanted to a CVS file with ease. Cons Getting in touch with the team took a couple of days more than I would have wanted. I also do not like their pricing system based on clients. Given I deal with multiple clients which are only one time customers, it seemed Freshbooks was pushing me to increase into their most expensive plans. Wasn't very intuitive." March 13, 2018 4.0 invoicing system was in place, can keep track of who was behind on payments, what was in inventory. Pros one stop shop from tracking inventory to processing invoices. the invoicing process was easy to follow and train others. Cons adding new items was difficult - user interface was very busy and slightly overwhelming. would be great if they added a way to communicate back and forth for collections/invoices directly with customer.
