Even our older and less tech savvy customers don't have any issues. Cons Having to pay based on how many customers we have. Pros Invoicing and keeping track of expenses can quickly become a pain point if you're running a small business. I was spending more and more time on writing paperwork and keeping track of expenses. Freshbooks solved a lot of my problems here. It's not confusing to use and has templates for every kind of invoice I've required. The expense and time tracking features are highly intuitive to use as well. There's an android app along with the web app, which is great, as this is one of those apps that you really need with you all the time. Cons I can't think of anything in particular. With Freshbooks you can save time and money, making billing and payments so fast, you can also speed up your charges and control the money in and the money out, making a direct tracing of how your business is working. Cons When you start to use an app like this you have to be aware about what are you doing qith your payments and billings, you have to focus and have a constant tracing of your finances, because if you have so many clients you can easily be lost between all the payments and bilings that you do. Another issue is that I recommend to have a least some knowledge about accounting and payment processes this will be a big help to get the most of this app. Review Source Abdul R. Reminders for automated invoices and payments makes it much more reliable for me. Cons Often, I encounters with the problem of mail failure. The mail that I often just pushed forward to my client did not even reaches them and I also don't get any failure message. Doing that means access from anywhere in the world and it allows us to provide instant customer support and follow-ups. Pros The number one feature in any web-app I use has to be user experience. FreshBooks recently introduced a redesign worthy of 5 stars alone. This makes the software intuitive and straightforward and allows me to train new employees to use the software quickly. Another quality feature of FreshBooks is the ability to manage multiple businesses. This is a self-explanatory pro to this software but I can't praise it enough. Cons It's a little spendy compared to competitors and there's no way to track inventory as far as I've been able to tell. If these aren't important for your business I wouldn't worry too much. Pros FreshBooks delivers flawless functionality matched only by customer support that is second to none. I have no interest in book-keeping or accounting and love the simplicity of the invoicing tool with easy online payment options. I’m thrilled that the product has evolved into a full-blown accounting platform over the years; and that’s the icing on the cake. Just as importantly, a product or service is only as good as the support team behind it. FreshBooks Support is simply out of this world. In the rare event that I need help with a specific feature, my calls are always answered on the first ring by FreshBooks Support Rockstars who really know their stuff. And no matter who takes my call in the more than seven (7) years I've been using FreshBooks, my experience has been consistent — my issue is quickly resolved in no time with encyclopedic precision. That's what I call inspiring support. Cons While I am completely satisfied with FreshBooks, the ability to customize my Invoice and/or Estimate template(s) would make it even better. It's invaluable and hopefully as my business grows, I will find more use for the larger scope of features I'm not yet taking advantage of. Pros It's clean and easy to use - it's not just an invoicing app, it's really about tracking and smooth running of what comes in and what goes out! Cons I suppose there are a few aspects that could be helpful - at first it was just simple things like further customization of invoice templates. But now I'm looking for better tax integrations for Canada. June 20, 2021 5.0 I have used Freshbooks for years without issue. I highly recommend giving it a try. Pros For the average business owner, wearing many hats, doing the billing can feel like drudgery. As a small business owner, I like that I can fill in a minimal amount of information and quickly shoot off an invoice. Recurring billing is probably the best feature, it does a good job of making this simple and goof-proof. Cons I'm not a big fan of the billing reminder system. It is not clear which clients will get a reminder without bringing up their info screen and finding the tiny checkmark. I would also prefer to get the reminder myself with an option to forward it along. This would prevent the embarrassing issue of sending out a reminder when the client has paid by check, but it has not been entered into the system promptly. Review Source CB Cheikh B. FreshBook revieuw Accounting Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "FreshBooks, the revolutionary accounting tool" January 10, 2021 5.0 FreshBooks allowed me to manage several platforms in one, saving me time and a lot of money. Pros FreshBooks is a very easy to use software especially for adding and removing third party applications. The advantage also is that you have the possibility to connect or disconnect other third party applications according to your choices. With FreshBooks, I can create quotes or send proposals and then follow them in real time. FreshBooks also allows me to invoice clients, manage accounting and financial reporting all at once, and from the same place where I used three different applications to do all this work. FreshBooks combined with other applications is a great tool. In any case, if you want to create invoices and send it in a split second and then track and monitor its progress, I recommend FreshBooks. Cons The downside of FreshBooks is that there is no possibility of merging contacts while duplicates are repeated when Freshbooks connects to another platform e.g. Hubspot. 
 The trial time is also very short and the number of customer additions is limited. Reporting, while not perfect, gives me a decent picture of how I"m tracking for the year, so I can plan taxes and keep track of profit/loss. Pros Freshbooks is absurdly easy to use, and for the most part, does everything I need it to. I make heavy use of invoicing and expenses, and both have performed perfectly well for me. I also appreciate that they automatically calculate Stripe fees and other payment platform fees as expenses. Their team really cares about their users, and they listen when I offer feedback. Cons I wish multi-currency support was stronger; not being able to enter expenses in USD is frustrating. Sometimes, the way reports display numbers (what is included and what is not) is not always clear. The process of sending out an invoice has been incredibly simple and following up with prospects and clients is always simple to do. I like that I can send hard copies as well. Cons Their customer support is very limited and hard to get a hold of. I've run into a few problems, where more or less, I was told to figure it out myself. Not a huge fan of that.
