Pros: Implementing Lever directly increased the productivity of our recruiting and their analytics capabilities allows us to regularly inspect and direct our efforts based on the quality of our hiring. Integration with Gmail & Google Calendar a PLUS!

Cons: The confidentiality rules aren't as flexible as we would like so that we could grant more customized permissions to Recruiting Team members. They are working on it though...

Pros: The customer rep was incredibly helpful in walking me through how to use this platform, she went above and beyond making sure I understood how to use all the functions of Lever to the best of my ability. Without this amazing training I would not have been able to utilize this amazing platform as well as I currently do.
I love the way the candidate timeline is displayed
I love the ability to pull so many reports
I love the scheduling function and how it integrates with Google Calendar

Cons: One con I noticed is I cannot schedule a Google Hangouts call within the "Scheduling" function in Lever. This would be helpful when setting up video chats for my other team members.

Pros: Lowers friction of hire communications and keeps track of everything. We were looking for a way to get recruiting out of email inboxes and Lever delivers. It's effectively a CRM geared specifically for hiring.

Cons: Setup is not exactly self-service ease, fortunately they have good support.

Pros: Navigating Lever is extremely easy, you can work with their support team to customize how you break down your candidate pipeline so that hiring managers in the field who don't fully understand recruiting or the interview process, can easily jump in and still know where to go and what to do.

Their Account Management and Support Teams are fantastic and extremely helpful! Their team truly cares about my company and wants us to grow and succeed. Additionally, they have been flexible with me on many different topics to make my experience better.

Cons: The reporting features need a bit of work, they get the job done, but you have to really dig in and experiment to fully understand how each report functions. It only pulls reports in lists of candidate info, would be nice if it gave me exportable hard numbers.

Pros: Love how easy it is to trim my time spent chasing down leads and organizing info in Lever. I've reduced my time spent on recruiting considerably by being able to standardize the process with this awesome ATS.

Cons: Would be great if they integrated with a few more job boards or if I could get a hands off prompt when I need to follow up with a candidate.

Pros: Nice and easy to track candidates along the process, no one gets lost/forgotten about and hiring managers get reminded about giving feedback.

Cons: Difficult transition from our old recruitment platform - it took a little longer than expected, could be improved.

Pros: - The lever team was an excellent partner during the implementation as well as follow-ups, response was almost immediate and always helpful. - Very intuitive ATS with an easy UI - Tags and search filters makes it easy to browse the candidate database - Very customizable towards company needs (e.g. stage transition)

Cons: A small one: adding new work locations for job posts requires extra steps, could maybe be simplified

Comments: Going from 0 ATS to using Lever, I am definitely satisfied thus far. Implementation was relatively painless, and I'm happy to finally have all our candidates living in 1 place.

Pros: SCHEDULING TOOL!!!!!!! This has made my life so much easier Feedback feature is really helpful for getting the team to write their feedback down in a timely manner.

Cons: Sourcing is a little more of a manual process than I'd like. I know this probably isn't Lever's fault due to settings on other sites such as Linkedin, but it's a bummer that it can't scrape the info directly from the site without me having to download --> upload. Also, it's kind of annoying that you can't seem to print a resume directly from Lever, you need to download it and print it in order for it to be in regular 8.5x11 paper printing format.

Comments: I enjoy the product a lot and am extremely happy with our choice to purchase Lever.

Pros: The integration features that Lever has with Google is GREAT! It makes the syncing of emails, schedules, and feedback pretty much seamless.

Cons: There are some little glitches when the initial sync happens that should be discussed more during the implementation process. Regarding the syncing capabilities, certain features need to be turned on / off in Gsuite. We were not aware of this and some work from our IT department needs to happen. In addition, the scheduling feature should be updated so that the invites are created better = 1 invite that has the feedback and only goes to the interviewer and the other one goes to both to the interviewer and candidate. Right now they are separate emails and, for us, this is a problem as we use Google Hangouts and the invites create separate links to the hangout.

Innovative product, unlike most Applicant Tracking Systems.

Comments: customer service agent is great. She was extremely helpful throughout the implementation process.

Pros: Customer Support during implementation and after launch. Scheduling tool is much better than it was a few years ago. Interview feedback is easy to set up.

Cons: The LinkedIn free integration does not drive candidate submissions and it would b great if you could link paid click job postings on your personal LinkedIn account with your Lever account so you could push applicants into Lever.

Pros: We implemented Lever at the beginning of this year and are very happy overall with our switch. We originally chose to go with Lever because we liked how "candidate-centric" this platform was over other systems. We wanted an ATS that streamlined our application process, screening, and made scheduling a breeze and overall, we have found that! The implementation and customer service team has been top-notch with Lever. Along the way, we have received answers to our questions right away. The videos and tutorials have been extremely helpful and the feedback response rate from our interviewers has increased. The integration with Microsoft Office365 with a single log-on process was well-received with our interview teams. Our company fills a majority of our entry-level hires through campus recruiting and Lever has allowed us to organize our applications by school, events, position, etc. which has helped our team organize our campus recruiting efforts. We are also beginning to implement Lever "Nurture" to help with our recruiting campaigns and to help us recruit "passive candidates." Overall, we are pleased with Lever and its functionality. We would recommend it completely.

Cons: The ease of use of reporting could be better, but Lever seems to be continually pushing out new updates.

Comments: The Lever team is great to work with and is really responsive.

Pros: Its an amazing tool for Interview scheduling and keeping database. All the stages are well defined and makes life easy for a recruiter. At the same time sending emails to candidates via lever is again one step process and really saves time.

Cons: I am still trying out figure out the reports section of this tool, which i feel is bit confusing and do sent give accurate data. However the Lever team was really co operative to help us resolve any of our queries.

Comments: I would like to use this opportunity to thank the support staff, for her patience and time to resolve our queries and for helping us utilize the tool in the best way. She helped us in sorting and simplifying our huge pile of data on lever. With her help, we can now use Lever for multiple purposes and can customize as per our needs.

Pros: - Super easy to understand the functionality - great tool to pull the reports - unique tags to refine the candidates - filters to search out the relevant pool - smooth transition of candidates from one stage to another including scheduling of the interview - customer service is really good and helpful

Cons: No separate section for rejected candidates and the levels they got rejected. Would be very helpful to pull that report as well.

Pros: I love that it is so user friendly. My previous ATS was really clunky, and there seemed to be a variety of ways to do the same thing - therefore I was constantly worried about consistency and reliability of the reports I was running and the data I was using. Lever works seamlessly with Gmail, it allows me to reduce the admin time involved in the interview process through automation and in-built scheduling tools, and I really enjoy having the ability to empower my hiring managers by giving them access to all the information, stats (time to hire etc) they need, on demand, directly. Lever has given our recruitment process an additional level of transparency and accessibility that is invaluable. I also love Lever Nurture. I strongly believe that talent acquisition professionals should be effective marketers - and the ability to include and leverage my ATS as part of employer brand and EVP communications is brilliant. If I have any questions, customer service is always very helpful and quick to respond.

Comments: Overall it is a great product and their support is always welcoming. I guess they could be a bit more proactive in seeing where we could improve on our use of the product, but that is a costly initiative, so I completely get why that is also dependant on the size of the client. I really can't say anything bad about the product or company.

Comments: We loved working with Stephanie (Initial point of contact) and Bryan (Implementation). Everyone who met them was impressed by them and willingness to help!

Pros: This product is so intuitive to use, the implementation was flawless, and the support throughout was consistent immediate.

Cons: Compared to the system we were using before, it is much more expensive. While it seems to be worth it that has stopped us from upgrading for more of the wonderful features we'd like to have access to.

Comments: I have been recruiting 17 years and have used most ATS's out there. Lever is the best so far.

Pros: Intuitive, clean, great support at start-up (when you really need it). The flow is correct and easy to navigate. Customization is easy.

Cons: Wish I emails, forms etc. once opened could be dragged. When I open email and forms it sometimes blocks other info I would like to see.

Comments: Customer Support and Implementation Team has been really phenomenal, so quick, and really on top it!

Pros: Before Lever, our hiring process was tracked manually and no one was submitting feedback. We now have a process in place and a tool that offers speed and scalability. We love how customizable it is and that it syncs with LinkedIn and Google Calendars. Lever helps collaborative hiring, aligns key stakeholders ¿ recruiters, hiring managers, leadership, and interviewers ¿ around the hiring process to make it move as rapidly and effectively as possible. Now all employees can identify, engage, and hire the best talent with the speed and agility that comes from having everyone on the same page.

Cons: A few little things that need updates. - Having to change the subject line of a calendar invite everytime you reschedule - The job description template page is not customizable

Pros: I like the ease of use of the platform, and how Gina a Customer Service Manager there has really helped me with all of my onboarding. She was extremely friendly, down to earth, and very responsive!

Comments: Evan and the team at Lever are pros at what they do and the platform is extremely easy to use.

Pros: The client implementation portion was awesome. Evan really took the time to explain everything to us and was there for each step of the process.

Cons: Not really a con here but the number of qualified candidates was much higher than we expected so it took a little more time than we planned for originally. Terrible problem to have, I know.

Pros: We were given two months to implement Lever and it took us less than two weeks. The Slack integration and the feedback forms have dramatically decreased our time-to-hire by allowing me to send internal interview reminders and instantly solicit feedback. The scheduling software is ahead of the curve providing tools that gsuite doesn't plan to roll out until the end of the year at the earliest.

Cons: The one issue we have with Lever is that we can't pull out or share candidate profiles with people that don't have a company email address

Overall: Decreased time-to-hire, created a database of past applicants, and made us more organized on a whole

Pros: We wanted something that could be implemented quickly and easily, it was also important that the cost made sense for the value of our rapidly growing team. We needed a platform to help us connect all of our job boards and postings for a unified candidate experience. Lever has provided all of this! The platform is intuitive and the Customer Support team is always ready and willing to help make the platform the most efficient for our team's use.

This has been a great tool for our team and even better for our hiring managers who are loving the new system.

Overall: Ease of full cycle recruiting and ensuring a uniform candidate experience.

They really take their customer feedback and actively develop the platform.

Comments: Ok product, but not thought over clearly. It's user friendly for everyone but the Hiring Managers and Recruiters.

Pros: I like how the product is very simple to pick up. The interface is easy to look at and figure out. I love how there is an option to bug people for feedback.

Cons: It takes too many button clicks to do something that should be automated, like rejection emails. This is an odd thing to say, but some of the features are too simplistic. There are a lot of things I wish I could do, but I can't, such as changing the application per req vs. per location. It's also terrible UI/UX displaying candidate info like a newsfeed.

Pros: I've previously used Jobvite, and I definitely like how much more intuitive that Lever is. Lever has a super clean UI, and everything is extremely organized. I love the option of building out your own templates.

Cons: One thing that I do not like about Lever is that the "Archive" candidate feature does not give you the option to send an automated rejection email to close the candidate. In addition, the whole requisition vs. job posting gets super confusing.

Lever is a perfect blend of ATS with CRM features that is robust and user friendly. Love it!

Pros: When we sought to replace our outdated, clunky ATS with something more modern, because of the nature of our business and related recruiting challenges, the product we selected would have to be user friendly, intuitive, relational and possess strike-zone reporting capabilities. Upon doing plenty of research on competing products, Lever emerged as the clear favorite. The CRM features are terrific for pipeline building, the tool is so easy to learn and use, and the information available through reporting provides the unique analytics that are critical to creating a more efficient talent acquisition process. It's almost as if Lever was created just for companies our size, with our unique culture, vision and values.

Cons: The one feature I would like to see change is to have the ability for multiple interviewers to leave feedback on a single feedback form.

Pros: We implemented Lever at our six-person robotics startup with no dedicated HR staff. The interface has been easy to use and we were up and running very quickly - the only real challenge for us is knowing what we want to do with it; once we have a goal in mind, it's usually very easy to figure out. Lever's support services are excellent - our account rep has done some very helpful training for us and has been incredibly responsive when we've had questions - and the online resources have been great reference material as we bring new people on board and get them using it as well.

Cons: It'd be great if it supported some features linked to suggestions about increasing the diversity of your pipeline (for example, being able to hide name/gender and ethnicity-identifying info before the resume is widely reviewed). Would also be nice if it was possible to promote the automatically published LinkedIn jobs, rather than having to post them manually (though I imagine this is as much LinkedIn as it is Lever). I'd also love a feature to prioritize people in the interview queue so that the person doing all the interview scheduling can work accordingly.

Comments: The support staff was amazing. She was available anytime we needed her and has such a thorough knowledge of the product.

Pros: It's easy to use, doesn't a take extra time, it's a time saver. The design is well thought out clearly they continue to work on the product. The implementation person was better any customer-service related person I've ever dealt with. Really.

So I in turn trust that they are going to keep working to make their product better, keep up with changing tech & strive to meet the developing needs of their customers.

Pros: We recently went live with the product and so far our recruiters like it and our hiring managers are giving us good feedback too. It truly is intuitive and user-friendly, and does not bog our staff down with an abundance of options or layers. We¿re tying up loose ends, but we feel confident that Lever is going to help us significantly with structured interviewing as well as keeping our processes consistent across the globe.

Cons: The only drawback is that the product is immature so some of the components are not completely fleshed out. For example, they are still working on integrations with 2 products that are critical to our operations: O365 and Workday. And we cannot complete the offer process through the system either as applicant information does not flow to it and negotiation with the candidate is not possible at this time.

Pros: The Lever team is great to work with, and very responsive! Everyone (from the CS team who handles tickets to our implementation specialist) has been incredibly professional and helpful. The product itself has some great features as well for recruiters (LinkedIn cross-functional integration, Google Chrome Extension, nurture campaigns, "send for" feature, GoodHire background check integration to name a few). I know our recruiting team is very involved with the nurture campaigns to engage passive talent, and thus far, we've had great success with it. The platform UX is also very clean and intuitive for the most part; I've received positive feedback from our hiring managers who use Lever as a way to check on the health of their pipelines. Overall, I would recommend the platform to colleagues who are looking to upgrade their ATS. :)

Cons: That said, I would have to caution anyone who is currently on Outlook Exchange, as the integration with Lever's scheduling tool isn't fully compatible. I can only speak on behalf of our experience, but we're running into some serious setbacks here (reschedules and cancellations in lever's scheduling tool don't reflect on the calendars in Outlook, so we wind up have to double schedule and double cancel whenever interview times change; conference rooms can't be booked through Lever; interviewer availability can't be viewed in the system). This is something I know the team is working hard to correct, so fingers crossed we'll be able to find a solution soon!

Easy to use. Mostly self explanatory. Great support videos and support staff.

Pros: Ease of use. I love that there is one menu that takes you to everything. Candidates are easy to review, notifications are purposeful and not too intrusive, and it's so easy to train employees how to use. Also having everything integrated with gmail/google cal is incredible! The ability to leave feedback, or review a candidate profile, add notes and a number of other features available to do through email is an incomparable feature, in my opinion.

Also, that you are able to book conference rooms and see interviewers availability is absolutely integral to ease of workflow.

Cons: The layout could be a little more user friendly. I wish I could see interview booking details in the same place as the feedback. Also, the easy book feature, while great in theory, still has some issues to be resolved, though the availability of the feature itself is still pretty great.

Overall: Ease of workflow. Everything needed for tracking applicants is one place.

I had implemented other ATS in the past and my experience with LEVER has been swift and interactive.

Pros: User friendly as both a user (testing the product) and a administrator ( migrating candidates from another ATS with good instructions) Did not experience any "system crash" during the transition - reliable system. Automation features have worked smoothly to ensure positive applicant experience and HR experience. Reporting ( data collection ) is easy to gather and serves the needs for presentation to our internal customers.

Cons: In addition to Google Chrome would like to see LEVER be able to optimize its performance using other platforms to for applicants who do prefer to use other search engines.
From a presentation/ branding standpoint, prefer to have the logo appears in the resume received/thank you for applying emails to candidates.
When migrating active candidates from the other ATS to LEVER, have to first saved the resume of each candidate before transferring them in groups to applicant@hire.lever.com
Would be nice to click & print resume versus downloading the document prior to printing it when needed
Under interview tag, the initials appeared next to the candidate name, belong to the owner of each job and not necessarily the last user who scheduled the interview. Have to flip down to the activity /transactions below the resume of the candidate to find out who is the scheduler of the interview.

Overall: As the lead HR person of this implementation - I found the transition and the different features of LEVER to be useful, up-to-date, and the thoughtful implementation project details that was being presented to me.

Pros: We chose Lever after global comparison of tools for both its ease of use and its deep data capabilities. The support teams work closely with the team to set up, customize, answer questions, etc. I have question or requests nearly daily and they are always extremely responsive and eager to find a solution. Our business operates in many different countries and we've decided to roll out Lever in all our markets. Teams and Hiring managers are so far pleased with the transparency, real time data, and instant collaboration with recruitment teams. Nearly every communication I've had with Lever's employees has been positive - from implementation specialists who go over and above to help teams to product teams who have designed elegant solutions for requisitions, approval flows, and other areas.

Cons: Currently not yet able to have confidential postings (for when someone is being replaced or for very senior roles), but I'm hopeful this is under consideration/development given Lever's increase of enterprise clients. We've run into complications in some locations as Lever's servers are based in the US, which for companies who operate mostly outside US, can cause a lot of hassle with Legal and Compliance departments around data privacy. Hosting servers for instance in the EU, would help to smooth the adoption of Lever.

Pros: 1. I love the customized pipeline. My pipeline has a lot of stages, built just for me and each morning I can see exactly which candidates are in Outreach Day 1, Outreach Day 2, etc. I can see, at a glance, which calls I need to make that day and on one screen I have everything I need - phone, email address, resume, my prescreen notes, etc.
2. Huge fan of adding tags to each candidate, I can see this down the road, as being a critical piece of contacting past candidates for the city/state I'm recruiting for.
3. Directly emailing candidates and managers from the ATS has been fantastic, I already have a gazillion templates established, and I use that feature on a daily basis. Love this feature! I also really appreciate the @mention feature in the Notes section to get my Hiring Manager's attention.
4. Integration, Integration, Integration! Have I mentioned the integration with the job boards? LOVE IT!

Cons: 1. Our forms are very formatted and structured, migrating our lengthy interview forms into the feedback function has taken some work and re-working.
2. The candidate is unable to "register" on our website to receive alerts when a position opens up that they are qualified for.
3. The calendar/scheduling function was geared around Google calendars, we are on Outlook, so we would like to see the visual training guides revised to be more inclusive.

Has been a seamless transition from our former ATS.

Pros: Honestly, it was the calendar booking for a while, but now its 100% Easy Book Links. In the few week's that I've had it, it has saved me so much time in booking both my first round screenings and I've been able to work with hiring managers on their recurring weekly schedules so candidates can book their own technical interviews as well.

Outside of that, I've been diving into building a much more structured interview process and Levers Feedback Forms are robust enough that I can create super thorough forms tailored to each hiring manager.

Cons: I wish there was more functionality that made liaising with recruiting agencies easier. Very few agencies ever use the "custom job application" link that I send them and the resume email import functionality is very basic. Ideally, I'd like the capability to automatically tag their source. Possibly based off of the email address of who originally sent it to me. (IE - Agency sends me 3 resumes and CC's the email I use for Email importing. Lever see that "john.doe@recruitingagency.com" email handle and automatically knows that it should mark the source as Agency and tag it as "Recruiting Agency" or w/e)

Honestly, that's my only gripe, and it's not even a bad one. It's super niche for smaller recruiting teams like mine who use a number of agencies to help ease my work load.

Pros: This is the best ATS I have ever used in my 12 years of HR practice. It's super intuitive and you can drop/drag documents into the portal and it captures all of the required fields. Compared to our last vendor, we're seeing major improvements in how we manage sourcing workflow, scheduling and communication with the greater Wealthfront team. Pros: I've been using Lever for a few months now, and just the other day I was noticing that in all that time I've been using it I have never lost any of the feedback I was writing. Sometimes I'll start a review immediately after the interview but I won't get a chance to finish it until later than night or a couple days later, so my data are surviving loss of internet, changes between wireless networks, sleeping/hibernating my laptop, etc. and no matter what, when I hit "submit" my full feedback is there. Whatever backend they've got implemented, I am really grateful for it! Zero frustration here.

Cons: I think the thing I like least about Lever so far is the number of emails I get reminding me to submit feedback on a candidate; it's hard for me to be too upset about that, though, because the only reason I get those emails is because of how long I take to submit my review. And as someone who has been waiting on other people to submit feedback before I could extend a job offer, I know how frustrating it is to be waiting on that. So even though I wish I got fewer emails, I wouldn't change the feature, because they do remind me each morning to prioritize Lever feedback.

We're doubling the size of our team very quickly - Lever provides the tools and visibility we need!

Pros: As a small start-up, we needed something that was quick to implement and easy to use. Lever hit the mark and has streamlined our interview process in a big way - we're able to organize referrals effectively and source/follow-up with potential hires seamlessly. As the point person for hiring, Lever has made my life easy.

Cons: I'd love to have a way to share internal job postings easily with all team member types, but other than that, no complaints!

Pros: As a startup, we wanted something that could be implemented quickly and easily, it was also important that the price made sense for the value. We got all that, and more, with Lever. Lever is intuitive and allows us to keep track of candidates in an organized manner. Definitely a big plus for an organization that doesn't have full time recruiters and internal staff dedicated to hiring.

Comments: Overall, I think Lever's by far the best product on the market for those who are focusing on sourcing for good candidates for jobs. This tool is the most efficient one I've seen: I single-handedly ran 200 senior candidates through the tool via sourcing in my first month at work, from sourced to 2X hires. Saying that, the sales process could be better and they're a bit unnecessary when it comes to additional features. All in all, grit your teeth and just do it. It'll turn Recruitment into an organised, and very professional flow in a matter of days.

Pros: - Time Efficient: LinkedIn extension, and the flow of the work means 1 person can manage 100s of candidates: and survive. - The Sourcing Dream: if you're sourcing candidates it's your best friend: it takes me 30 seconds to onboard a new lead - Customisable interview sheets: it's so easy to give feedback on a candidate once you get going. -,Wonderful Onboarding Support: once you've made the decision your onboarding support is impressive, professional, and great.

Cons: - Price: it's not cheap, but the price does vary according to company size. It's worth it if you've hired anyone dedicated to recruitment. - Integrations: things like a Slack integration are unnecessarily pricey features. The same comes for the amount of integrations (not that many) as well as the price tag to do each one (something as necessary as a DocuSign integration costs serious cash). That limits you, and feels annoying. - Sales process: it's not the best sales experience. They aren't flexible on things like multi-year deals, or any way to help you line up the Product with your current budget. That makes no sense.

Pros: -First off, the sales & implementation teams are fantastic. I had a great experience during the sales process (which is why I chose them over Greenhouse) & Customer support representative from implementation (customer success) has continued to be a trusted partner even post-onboarding. -It's relatively easy to set up & manage ongoing updates. I pretty much built the entire thing when we switched from Jazz. While I have an implementation background, I'm no engineer, so kudos for making it easy to manage. -Hiring managers love it - esp. product & engineering! -The email templates are a life-changer. -The sync with Google calendar for rooms & availability is also a life-changer.

Cons: While overall, it's a fantastic product, there are a few very nitpicky items I'd love to see modified down the road: -More customization for job posts; there are a couple standard fields you can't change. -Ability to sort applicants by certain criteria, i.e. if they included a cover letter or link to portfolio. -Permission levels with more "pick & choose" customization. -Changing interview times, teams, and feedback forms could be easier. -Option to save commonly used filters -- for a super admin with access to all reqs, it can be a tad overwhelming, but I've hacked a good process with bookmarks!

Comments: I like Lever in general, somewhat expensive, but good feature integration with email and calendars. Easy to use, though some functionality still suffers. Overall I'd say 3.5-4 stars out of 5. Especially considering I have never created an ATS and likely don't know what kind of effort is required to have some of these features corrected.

Pros: UI is nice, scheduling, manager/candidate/recruiter communication platform, customization of stages and email templates. Candidate categorization ...it's a great platform for less technical roles and if you have all the questions, feedback forms, and email templates in place it works well. The feedback reminders can be a good thing, but like any good thing, too much of a good thing can become a bad thing.

Cons: Adding feedback takes a few additional steps if not there, very manual process if the right feedback is not attached. Should be allowed to add feedback straight from that area, instead you have to click buttons or add a note.

Pros: Easy to implement. The Lever rep assigned to us was great to work with and very knowledgeable of the product, of recruiting processes, as well as what others in the business are doing.

Cons: Getting data out through the API isn't as easy as we'd hoped. But the rep has been working with us and we're confident we'll get it done.

Pros: Housing referrals, applicants, and sourced candidates all in one place. Not having to engage with multiple systems to accomplish keeping track of top talent is incredibly valuable in recruiting. The "snooze" button is a fave functionality for staying in touch with pipeline talent.

Pros: Lever has such a clean, user-friendly design. The integrations are so simple and the functionality is intuitive. The customer service is top notch- Diana and team were incredible during and after our implementation. It was a fantastic experience.

Cons: There is no "to-do" or task function so it's not easy to set reminders to follow-up in the tool. The user roles are rigid and the lack of ability to export even limited data unless you are the super admin is hampering in some cases (when dealing with high volumes especially). Same for reporting - would love to be able to export reports or view more reports without changing overall roles.

Pros: The best thing is their customer service! I must email them every other day with a question or suggestion, and they are so responsive. I receive a response usually within an hour or so, and they'll email back and forth with me to problem solve anything I'm running into, or offer workarounds if the platform doesn't do what I'm asking and pass the suggestion on. It also integrates nearly seamlessly with Gmail and Google calendar and makes it very easy for me to communicate with my hiring managers.

Cons: I wish there were a mobile app and a few more pieces of it were customizable (but they are still developing it and in the short time I've used it more of it has become this! I imagine it will continue to improve).

Comments: We selected our ATS primarily on User Experience and Cost. We shortlisted Greenhouse and SmartRecruiters and went with Lever. This is a candidate centric system, focused on user experience. Having used a number of large tier 1 systems which are clunky, unable to integrate with third parties (or make it difficult), it has taken some getting used to but I LOVE IT.

Pros: Lever is so easy to use. Our hiring managers jumped straight in with little to no training and are engaged in the recruitment process. Lever Nuture has allowed me to increase reach out email response rates by at least 50%. The ability to personalise and automate emails is a time saver and provides for an awesome candidate experience. Customer Service is excellent, responsive and sets realistic expectations. From a recruiters perspective it is easy to move through the platform, screens aren't cluttered, minimal clicks and loads of integrations with other API's. Very patient team. We've had a few changes in the team and Lever Support and Customer Success has been extremely helpful in reptition of training in short time frames.

Cons: We're based in Australia and unfortunately by the time a ticket is responded to it is a day later. If the response is not clear or not what we were looking for, then we wait for another day. Reporting is challenging due to the seperation of Requisition Reports (Lever Intelligence) and Job Postings. Manager dashboards do not provide the transparency required (based on what our business wants to see). Should have customisable dashboards. We have a decentralised model where Head of Engineering for example can't see Engineering roles as they directly report into a Product Team. It's not easy to customise, and quite difficult to understand.

Comments: Lever is the 7th ATS that I have used professionally and I have demoed many others, it is one of the best out there. We went through our selection process a year ago and ended up demoing 13 ATS providers and they were the best for our needs. We couldn't be happier with Lever and plan on being a long-time customer.

Pros: -Great UI/UX-very intuitive and easy to use -Good tracking capabilities: Can create unique URLs, each employee has a unique social/employee referral link, you can drop a Google Analytics tag, and can embed tracking pixels -Easy to get buy-in across the organization -Adds efficiency to the recruiting team saving recruiters and coordinators time in our day to day. We had to do a ton of manual work with our last ATS. -High engagement: Many of our team members weren't a big fan of our previous ATS and now they have turned into power users -Chrome Extension and integrations with other sourcing tools to be able to easily import candidates into Lever to manage the pipeline -Gmail and Google Calendar integration so you can do everything from one platform and not have to continually go back and forth when communicating and scheduling candidates -They are continually upgrading their software as we have been a customer less than a year and have seen many new beneficial releases -Have a CRM product(Lever Nurture) -Great support from initial contact through implementation -During the sales process, they really took the time to understand our business and recruiting processes -Easy to create customized reports -Tons of partner integrations -Streamlined and easy implementation process

Cons: -Doesn't have automated social referral distribution. Employees can't schedule their job posts via social, they need to do it manually each time through Lever. -They don't have Live Chat for customer service -When setting up your job application, if you choose to have a resume as required then the 'Apply with LinkedIn' is pointless. If they 'Apply with LinkedIn' then they still need to upload a resume. Unfortunately, 'Apply with LinkedIn' doesn't cover the resume requirement.

It helped me to speed up the recruitment process a lot.

Pros: We wanted something that could be implemented quickly and easily, it was also important that the price made sense for the value. We¿ve found that the system is intuitive and allows us to keep track of candidates in an organized way. Lever has provided all of this.

The UI is intuitive. The learning period for comfortably navigating the system and time to value was minimal. This has been a great tool for our team and even better for our hiring managers who are loving the new system.

Cons: Some of the UI decisions are odd. It took me a long time to figure out how to set up default feedback forms, for example.

They work hard with you to understand your requirements and then implement what you asked for or explain why the software can't do it the way you would like.

Cons: Which brings me to the one flaw with the product - if you have requirements that are not in the current software capabilities, they must go through an evaluation by Lever to decide if they should be added to its implementation roadmap at some point down the line. So be careful during the selection process to make sure that everything that is a high priority requirement for you can be handled by the current version of the software.

Pros: The ability to easily implement and adopt this software was critical and a major reason we decided on Lever. Given company wide adoption was necessary for our new ATS, ensuring we found something that everyone from Talent to Engineering, and everything in between would be comfortable with was key. Lever makes it easy for everyone, at all different levels, to get value from the platform. Since adoption, the participation around recruitment activity such as referrals and interview feedback has dramatically increased.

Cons: It honestly becomes a bit difficult for me to think of a true "con" to this software. Anytime there has been an update or new feature that i thought wasn't the right way to go, I've been completely wrong. The Lever team listens to their customers, understands our needs, and delivers on it before we even have a chance to know it was something that needed to be fixed. If I REALLY had to think of something, it would be that I can't group my users by team in administrative settings. It would be great to search by team/group vs. name.

Overall: EVERYTHING about leading a talent function is easier with Lever.

We went from managing all our candidates in our inboxes, which inevitably meant we dropped some balls and didn't create the best experience for people that wished to work with us. Lever was setup in short order and immediately brought organization to a chaotic and overwhelming process. Pros: I really appreciate all of the help and support I (we) get from the Lever team. The trainings, resources and ticketing system has been extremely helpful. The system has provided us with a lot of functionality that we have never had before. We are able to track all of the activity on each candidate in one place, comments, notes, emails, feedback, and ratings. This has also allowed us to be truly compliant with our recruiting process.

Pros: Set up just works. Integration with email & calendar & Slack are as simple as one click. The UI is very intuitive and easy to navigate. Very easy to find what you want and understand your next steps. Clearly built from the ground up with collaboration in mind- very easy to chat with coworkers and hiring managers and share thoughts on candidates. And all backed by a world class customer support & success teams. One of the best onboarding experiences I've never had.

Cons: The color scheme is almost too minimalist- a few more pops of color here and there might not go amiss. That's about it. I've been through 3 ATS implementations in the past 5 years and this is the only system I want to use for the rest of my career. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Pros: I love its seamless integration with the tools we most use--Gmail, Google Calendar, Slack, Abacus, and Docusign. It has made our entire hiring process more seamless as a result.

For applicants, it provides a more professional, personalized (if templated!) experience than what our young company had previously afforded.

For our People Operations department (of one) it has vastly improved our organization of resumes. Previously, I received from multiple sources (hand-delivered resumes, forwarded emails of resumes, dozens of job boards) often receiving resumes from people who were not directly involved with the hiring process. Lever has helped keep the channels of communication open between varying levels of involvement, equipping team members to track at the distance that makes the most sense for them.

Furthermore, it has renewed energy throughout the company regarding our democratic hiring process. It is helpful that all team members can refer candidates more easily to the wider team, and that they can see all of their feedback forms/interviews in once place. The Slack reminders regarding feedback prove helpful since so much of our work is carried out via Slack.

I also very much enjoyed the implementation process with Phil. He made clear that there is no dumb question. He was consistently friendly, and empathetic when there were obstacles in the implementation. He had a great way of allowing me to train by doing instead of training by sight.

Cons: I look forward to the tool having more options in terms of auto-text/mail-merge. For example, it would be great if email templates had some options for dates and times. I also wish that it were possible to add multiple locations to a particular posting. I created a location called "Multiple Locations," but it'd be nice to have more specific cities listed. Perhaps I'm missing something though and this is an option. I'm still very young in my use of this tool.

I also wish that the workflow process could be manipulated by super admins. If ever we need to make an edit to the workflows, we will need to contact Lever's support team. I have no doubt they will be responsive. I simply wish we were empowered to customize this ourselves as needs change. It'd be great if each department could customize their own flow for their different hiring processes.

Also, the cost was nearly prohibitive for our small company. I was glad that the team worked with us on this. I trust that if we can expand its use across departments (instead of the initially approved Client Success team), the company will see its full value. Right now it's a bit costly for our 1-person People Ops 'team' in its primary focus on Client Success hires. I think to get full use out of this platform, we would need a full-time recruiter--possibly using the Teamable and LinkedIn Recruiter integrations that Lever affords.

Pros: - From the very beginning, Lever was high-touch and hands on with their implementation. This made what I thought would be the hardest part of the process very easy. - Great UI, very intuitive. The product makes gathering feedback very simple and with customized feedback forms, it saves a lot of time--no longer are we chasing people around to get feedback. Overall: We grow fast, so we needed to tool us to manage this growth. Lever has been super helpful, and now empowers our team so that everyone can review applications, interview people and hire talents without a daily and close intervention of a recruiting manager. The platform is clean and super easy to use, and their customer service is super dedicated. The value for money is clear. It really helped our team bring our hiring process from zero to one.

Pros: The product was very intuitive, and came with great functionality, including Google/ Slack/ DocuSign integration. Love the pipeline design, easy to follow/ track our job postings and candidates. The UI was excellent, most of my team took very little time to get comfortable with this platform - a big boost for employee participation in recruitment. We have a very small recruiting team, Lever really made a huge difference to the way we manage the candidate journey. Bonus: Excellent sales and customer support team, it's always a joy to work with them!

Cons: I really don't have anything negative to say about Lever.

Overall: I have ~10 years of recruiting experience, Lever is by far the best ATS in my opinion. The pipeline-centric product was very intuitive, came with great functionality, including Google/ Slack/ DocuSign integration. Love the UI, easy to follow/ track our job postings and candidates. The UI was excellent, most of my team took very little time to get comfortable with this platform - a big boost for employee participation in recruitment. We have a very small recruiting team, Lever really made a huge difference to the way we manage the candidate journey. Recommendations to other buyers: We hope to see more advanced Slack and DocuSign integration (e.g. initials on each page of contract/ form field setting)

Pros: We have had great customer service and we love nurture. All the other basic tools are there- candidate mgmt, interview scheduling, feedback etc. It also has a really nice UI and a pretty self explanatory UX.

Cons: The data seems very unreliable. We get different numbers for the pipeline. There is not enough granularity for our metrics, we have to do most reports for our exec team manually.

Comments: I have 17 years recruiting experience and have founded two recruiting firms, consulted for 5 startups in building the recruiting function, and now manage a talent acquisition team for a startup within a Fortune 30 company. I have used most of the major (and some unknown) Applicant Track Systems (Bullhorn, Jobvite, Maxhire, PCRecruiter, SmartRecruiters, to name a few) and none of them help move the pipeline and surface old candidates as well as Lever. Excellent product!

Pros: The ease of use if off the charts. The pipeline-centric UI makes the product very usable with little or no training.

Cons: The user permissions are a bit more complex than they need to be. The job posting service is decent, but could be improved to bring more traffic.

Pros: It's comprehensive in its functionality. Every need I have for managing the hiring process is met. Furthermore, its super easy to learn, which has mean that I haven't needed to train my staff on its use - a huge time save for me.

Cons: The only thing I would like is to be able to have a custom pipeline for each position for which I'm hiring.

Overall: We're mid-sized non-profit organization that entered a growth phase that required lots of hiring. Our system for tracking applicants was spread across multiple Google docs that worked when we were just starting out but quickly became inadequate to manage our growth needs.
I'm so thankful to have found Lever. Their customer service is beyond anything I've experienced before. They took our google docs and imported it all into Lever's system, making the transition seamless. It quickly became apparent that more of our staff could get involved in the hiring process and it thankfully didn't require laborious training sessions. Staff simply logged on and figured it out - it's that easy. What's more, we started using Lever for our intern recruitment and hiring, something I hadn't even thought about when choosing Lever. It's utility has surpassed my expectations.
I really don't like to give perfect scores when rating, but I struggle to think of a way that Lever could be improved. When I do, I'm sure I could give Lever that feedback and the improvement would be made.
Thanks Lever! It reinforces that I made the right decision when my staff come to me and say Thanks goodness for Lever!

Comments: We've been with Lever for two years and the platform has only gotten better. Lever has allowed us to streamline our hiring process and save me a significant amount of time. They also have fully featured reporting which allows for you to dig deep into what is working and what is not in your hiring process. The platform itself offers the perfect amount of customization for me and my team, we're able to configure it (with the help of our amazing integration specialist) in a way that works best for us.

Great product and excited to start using it to the fullest!

Cons: Design dashboard is dull. Could be more vibrant or colorful but this issue is minimal in the bigger scheme of things.

Overall: Lever is a very easy to use product with tons of benefits. It has helped me streamline so many steps in the talent acquisition process and is very user friendly. The software allows everyone to collaborate with each other and the customer support/set up team was awesome. They were highly engaged and were always on hand to assist me. There is a wealth of resources available to you as a user and the service is very response.

Loved the customer support and sales team from the first day I contacted them to the end of the set up process. They were very friendly and helpful. Lever truly wants you to succeed and offers many tools to support you. The software program also integrates with many other systems to help streamline the hiring process.

I would highly recommend this recruiting tool to anyone out there. Our dedicated Implementation Specialist was a tremendous help and always available to answer my questions. The customer representative who showed me the demo and helped "seal the deal" was super informative and ensured I was comfortable with each step of the process.

Great product, great support, and great team to work with. I am super excited to continue partnering with Lever!

Pros: The UI is super intuitive. The learning period for comfortably navigating the system and time to value was minimal. This has been a great tool for our team and even better for our hiring managers who are loving the new system.

Cons: The only con I can think of is the scheduling feature. You have the ability to check your employee's availability on their calendar and it is not the most intuitive. However, Lever recognizes this and is working to make it better.
