Pros

Working with the support, implementation and customer service team at Lever has been an extremely positive experience. Throughout the implementation process, the team has been great at clearly outlining expectations, as well as anticipating our needs. Specifically, our implementation specialist, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] has displayed such excellence as a subject matter expert. Whenever we have had a question, big or small, she is quick to respond with a solution or resource. Post implementation, we look forward to working with the team to continue to better utilize the system and create a great candidate and interviewer experience.

Cons

Lever has been a true upgrade from our previous ATS. If there was one thing I wish we could introduce, it would be knock-out questions.

My team and I really love using lever as our recruitment tools! No clutter, simple and easy to use. With the support team and our Implementation Specialist, Rain, we already learned everything in Lever only in 1 month! Recommended tools for recruitment.

Pros

They have their own page. Even though our website hasn't been launched yet, we can just copy and paste the Lever link and everybody can apply! Hassle free.

Cons

To change pipeline, I need to contact the support team instead of doing it myself. There are 13hr differences, so my team need to wait for 1 day until the changes applied in our lever.

Overall, Lever has streamlined our recruitment process. Our TA team and hiring managers are able to quickly review candidates and we spend less time e-mailing each other back and forth because we're able to communicate within the system.

Pros

User intuitive interface that did not require much training for our hiring managers/interviewers, seamless job posting features, recruiting campaign features, easily migrating candidates from LinkedIn via Lever Nurture, different levels of user access for all members across our organization, stellar implementation team/customer service that get back to you in less than 24 hours

Cons

Interviewer feedback can only be sent if you schedule within the system. Knowing Lever's commitment to efficiency, I'm sure they will come up with a workaround.

Pros

I really appreciate all of the help and support I (we) get from the Lever team. The trainings, resources and ticketing system has been extremely helpful. The system has provided us with a lot of functionality that we have never had before. We are able to track all of the activity on each candidate in one place, comments, notes, emails, feedback, and ratings. This has also allowed us to be truly compliant with our recruiting process.

Cons

One of the things I know is in production is an alert to the hiring manager when there has been a candidate that has applied.

We didn't have a good ATS prior to Lever, so this is solving every possible problem.

Pros

Lever is a fantastic ATS for growing companies looking for a more robust system. The add-on of Nurture helps support talent acquisition, which is a differentiator in the ATS market. Lever makes it super easy to schedule interviews, create feedback forms (and make sure they're filled out), etc. It helps keep everyone accountable on all sides. The onboarding was quick and easy (shout out to Rain!).

I wish I could manually upload a CSV of candidates to a job

### "Amazing UI "

Pros

Lever is easy to use and mobile friendly our company loves the UI especially our Head of Engineering. Love that there is a seamless integration with google suite.

Cons

Some features need to be added and would love to have more integration options. For example our integration with DocuSign. Since we can't change the order of signatures in Lever we currently have to send outside of Lever. Offers - adding offer fields should have the same capabilities as adding req fields. Instead of having just a text box option to enter information. - If we can pull req info into the offer form that would be great. That way offer approvers are able to see that everything that is being offered is within budget since our FP&A likes to keep a close eye on budget.

Overall, Lever has helped me save time and stress when working to hire candidates.

Pros

Lever makes the hiring process simple and easy. It takes the overwhelm away from working with multiple candidates. It also offers an easy solution for current employees to refer to others.

Cons

Some integrations are not available depending on the subscription level that you choose. Being able to upload a CSV of candidates would be helpful.

Unfortunately the frustrations outweigh benefits with Lever. Too many functinoal and data flaws.

Pros

Features that get folks excited like the chrome extension, email integration (files from emails are auto uploaded with this integration).

Cons

Too many functional flaws. Wrong emails and contact information are pulled into the wrong candidate profiles. The data is not trustworthy and very concerning. Compatibility with Windows is very weak/poor. Very difficult to build candidate pipelines, and not much capabiility to customize.

Lever is a very easy to use product with tons of benefits. It has helped me streamline so many steps in the talent acquisition process and is very user friendly. The software allows everyone to collaborate with each other and the customer support/set up team was awesome. They were highly engaged and were always on hand to assist me. There is a wealth of resources available to you as a user and the service is very response. Loved the customer support and sales team from the first day I contacted them to the end of the set up process. They were very friendly and helpful. Lever truly wants you to succeed and offers many tools to support you. The software program also integrates with many other systems to help streamline the hiring process. I would highly recommend this recruiting tool to anyone out there. Our dedicated Implementation Specialist was a tremendous help and always available to answer my questions. The customer representative who showed me the demo and helped "seal the deal" was super informative and ensured I was comfortable with each step of the process. Great product, great support, and great team to work with. I am super excited to continue partnering with Lever! Thank you for all your help.

Overall this product seems like it has a lot of potential but it just wasn't right for us and I stopped using it after a short time. If functioning properly, there are a lot of helpful tools and time saving features.

Pros

I liked the visual aspect of the product. I liked that many features are offered (including CRM services) and the capability to handle large numbers of applicants and data. It is easy to communicate with everyone involved and it's easy to share an application with colleagues.

Cons

This product simply wasn't pleasant or easy to use. It was complicated and I experienced a number of errors. Several times I was not able to go back and find an applicant and I had to reset my preferences and settings each time I used the product.

It's removed all the tedious aspects of my role.

Pros

It's great to manage all applicants experience, schedule interviews for multiple stakeholders and track what stage of the interview process candidates are in.

Cons

It takes a while to set up. There's no way around it but it does take commitment to introduce robust software like Lever.

Reason for choosing Lever

Greenhouse is more expensive and basically the same thing.

Pros

I recommend Lever to every Recruiting team out there. The ATS was created by developers that understand what Recruiters need and understand how little time we have in our days (the lever chrome extension is such a huge time saver). Managers are not the easiest to convince when it comes to ATS but with Lever and the slack integration it makes it easier to collect feedback without having to chase it. The staff is great, I was in touch with Spencer who took all the time I needed to explain all the different functions of Lever and then Otto took over for the implementation and although the timeframe I gave them was super short they were right there with me and I felt supported throughout the whole process (migration from another ATS to Lever and setting up our Lever company account). My team is super happy with this choice and I believe they thank me at least once a day (if not more) for picking Lever over other ATS

Can't say that I have any cons right now (i've been using Lever since July 2018 and things have been going smoothly)

Pros

Visually pleasing, user-friendly, and pretty intuitive. Our CSM is absolutely phenomenal. He's easy to work with, extremely responsive, and truly cares about our user experience. Overall customer support team is wonderful and continually goes above and beyond to ensure our experience is positive.

Cons

Offer process can use some improvement, specifically offer approvals. The process is extremely seamless if everything aligns, but due to constant one-offs and changes in offers you have to submit the entire offer through the approval process again.

Pros

I think that the biggest pros about that software are the ease of changing the position of candidates in the pipeline and the number of integration with the other tools like job boards, slack end so on. Also, the process of making job ads is simple and easy so it doesn't take much time.

Cons

I don't really like that you cannot change the pipeline during the recruitment process because it affects data's analysis so you have to rethink it twice before making a decision.

Very little clicking in order to know what's happening. + Intuitive scheduling + Smart search + Loves that profiles are auto-completed when you upload resumes + Easy to train other interviewers/teammates on

Basically, I'm a huge Lever fan, and I love that their quest to always make the system better never ends!

Pros

\- Fantastic team that effectively sets you up for success - Simple, clean UI, not clunky - Features are regularly updated - Ability to tailor application stages - Ability to sync with Gmail and Slack is fantastic

Cons

\- Greater ability to tweak and tailor the access/editing ability of Line Managers - Line Managers may require a different dashboard set up, they seem to be easily confused by what they see - Creating email templates can be a little finicky, it would be good if the email could take structures like tables - Price may be a little expensive for small companies, however, I feel it is a good investment

Pros

This is my first recruiting job and my first time using Lever. I can't imagine doing this job without using Lever: the features are great and the platform is super logical and effortless to learn. Our Customer Success Manager at Lever has been very helpful in helping us with implementation, supporting us and answering all of our questions. Thank you!

Cons

A few minor bugs here and there, but the support team has been great in responding and addressing these.
