Pros

Fairly feature complete and then some, with features like sending templated emails, interview scheduling, feedback, and metrics about hiring pipeline. Definitely a more modern version compared to other platforms out there, but this is a hard space to really shine.

Cons

There are definitely some quirks that are being ironed out as time goes on (for example, very coarse permissions being replaced by finer grain ones) and there is a decent amount of upfront setup in order to derive value -- but that's true with competitors as well.

Pros

Love data/analytics/reporting and the ease of use for hiring managers. The training presentations were also a huge help to helping on-board employees/hiring managers to the platform. The ease of use for not only daily users but all employees makes this tool worth the investment!

Cons

The nurture campaign feature is great but a little harder to understand/implement upon on-boarding. The on-boarding for this feature could have been a little longer.

Pros

I love Lever : managing my applications could not be easier. In few clicks, you can organize applications, reject or approve them and plan next-steps with candidates. Referral feature is also well built. You can refer a candidate in few seconds, link it to a job then post it and track their status!

Cons

Everything is clear for me. I don't have the administrator part, only the end-user and that's perfect. Our executives are fully satisfied of Lever.

You can find cheaper or free options that do a much better job!

Pros

Honestly there isnt too much to like in comparison with other ATS softwares. It does have a scheduling option that works when just scheduling an interview for one person. There are some metrics but not anything impressive. Does help with streamlining as everything i set once and no customizing.

Cons

Customer service and onboarding is a joke. Basically just scripted answers to get you out of their hair. No personalization at all. Limited capabilities. The product does not integrate properly with Google(email and calendar). There is no dashboard. No metrics on scheduling. No customization to scheduling interviews or the message interviewers and interviewees. Does not integrate with other services well. Everyone at our company complains of how difficult it makes the process.

It really solves my challenge of having candidates in one place, the communication and scheduling externally and internally.

Pros

I really like the intuitive and straight forward UX. It's easy, as you start to use the software, how to add more levels of features to your daily use and even better how my colleagues can interact efficiently without having to know the system inside out. It's a great product!

Cons

The interface could be better looking. Perhaps a bit more sexy!

What is not to love? Platform? Amazing. Customer Service? Outstanding. Features? Tons. It has literally made my life easier especially with organization and follow up.

Cons

The ONLY con I could think of is that I wish it had a better functionality for those of us that either only support 3rd party recruitment or part-time.

Customer reps are exceptionally great and deserve much praise.

Pros

Everyone from the implementation specialists to the account managers are incredible to work with. They are quick to respond, resolve, and always happy to help. The ATS is simply laid out, easy to use, and has more than enough features to make you more efficient.

Cons

The biggest con is not having a mobile app. Using Lever on a mobile device is quite limited, and if you request the desktop version, it is not easy to scroll around. This could be massively improved.

Lever has helped significantly to streamline our applicant review, interview, and hiring processes. The UI and pipelines are intuitive. The reporting is extensive and easy to read.

Cons

We would like to see more customization options on the frontend. A calendar where users can schedule interviews would also be great. I believe this feature is in the works.

Applicant tracking, organization, clear communication, and collaborative screening.

Pros

I like the ability to delay email responses and I like the options to customize the entire process. E-mail templates, feedback forms, applications, and the integrations are all great.

Cons

The new features need work. Easy-book doesn't allow for total control of scheduling. Offer letter creation is quite complicated and involves a lot of work if your offers are complex and different each time. Lastly, not everyone is a fan of the interface.

The Lever team is great to work with and is really responsive.

Pros

Its an amazing tool for Interview scheduling and keeping database. All the stages are well defined and makes life easy for a recruiter. At the same time sending emails to candidates via lever is again one step process and really saves time.

Cons

I am still trying out figure out the reports section of this tool, which i feel is bit confusing and do sent give accurate data. However the Lever team was really co operative to help us resolve any of our queries.

Pros

As the only in-house recruiter, Lever (Nurture) has drastically increased my productivity and boosted efficiency. It allows me to reach out to potential candidates at scale and automates a personalized drip campaign of emails to increase the likelihood that they'll want to chat. And as a hiring ATS, it is easy to use and has the majority of the features we need.

Cons

The product can be a bit buggy at times, and there are a few reporting features that I really would like them to add, such as an easy way to show time to hire/time to fill for each role. They show an average which is interesting, but I need specifics. They also don't have a mobile app.

Lever is one of the few applicant tracking systems that allows you to build a pipeline for the future and match prior candidates to new openings.

Pros

What I like most about Lever is that you can keep track of candidates and match them with future openings. This applicant tracking system is super easy to use. I like that you can create customized job posting links to track where your candidates are applying from. I also like that it keeps track of candidate communication - this is super important and a really modern feature compared to other ATS systems I have used. You can also have Lever set notifications for you to reach out to candidates in the future.

Cons

Maybe I haven't figured it out yet, but I would like to see a bulk uploading button. I have been manually uploading candidates one-by-one.

Ease of use

Pros

Lever has such a clean, user-friendly design. The integrations are so simple and the functionality is intuitive. The customer service is top notch- Diana and team were incredible during and after our implementation. It was a fantastic experience.

Cons

There is no "to-do" or task function so it's not easy to set reminders to follow-up in the tool. The user roles are rigid and the lack of ability to export even limited data unless you are the super admin is hampering in some cases (when dealing with high volumes especially). Same for reporting - would love to be able to export reports or view more reports without changing overall roles.

As a software developer I can only recommend this product as it is simple and focusses only what is actual needed in a hiring pipeline.

Pros

I like the simple interface it has because it does not have any clutter. You can easily see the details of the candidate, it was simple to change the candidate assessment fields to match the company's progression framework and I also like that it sends reminders about upcoming events.

Cons

I honestly cannot mention anything I would like to improve as it fully satisfies my needs. I am only referring candidates and interviewing them so I cannot speak about the price of the service or how easy it was to integrate it with other HR tools.

Pros

The software is powerful yet also easy to use for all members of the organisation. Our whole team became members of our recruitment process with the lever implementation.

Cons

My only slight irritation is that there is no zoom integration to facilitate remote interviews, but the interview scheduling is very easy... hint hint!

I would highly recommend doing focus groups or some random sampling with recruiters to understand how interview processes work and why customers are struggling with the system.

Pros

Lever is user-friendly, visually pleasing and has some unique and helpful features for recruiting. The referral feature has been one of our favorite things! Customer service has also been a great experience.

Cons

It's very obvious that the program wasn't created by recruiters. There are a lot of features/updates that aren't super important in sourcing and recruiting but the basic functions have complicated interfaces and there's issues that make tracking applications and candidates very difficult.

Pros

Ease of use Integrations (Docusign, LinkedIn, Slack, so many more!) Reporting +++ Sourcing and workflow creation

Cons

Very little, to be honest, the system really does have few flaws... but my main gripe: Scheduling in interview view

\- User friendly/intuitive system - Candidate focused - all communications with the recruiting team, hiring teams, scheduling interviews, and feedback are all automated through Lever. There are no manual processes! - An adaptable system that you can make what you want/need out of it.

Cons

\- Doesn't fully integrate with Outlook which has caused some minor inconveniences e.g. our outlook calendar invites that are sent from the system don't have reminders automatically set in them (15 minute warning prior to interview) and our interview team has to manually delete them off their calendars if an interview is cancelled.

Pros

As a former user of Jobvite and most recently ICIMS. My outlook on ATSs before was that they all were the lesser of evils. Most solutions solve a few pain points but leaves you wanting so much more. From Day 1 Lever has changed that POV for me. The UI is so intuitive. Wherever your brain thinks that a button should be or the next step in a process should be, it is there. The ramp up time for comfortably navigating the product was minimal. This has been great for our recruiting team and even better for our hiring mgrs who are loving working in the new system. It really helps to create a single information hub for all of our hiring. It has the features I have always wanted from an ATS but never found in 1 solution. Deep reporting that is already built out, customization of templates, integration with LinkedIn to name a few. The Lever team is great about keeping us update on changes coming and listening to our input on features when it comes to product road map.

Cons

Their built in reporting is great but it would be great to be able to visualize this information within the platform. Right now you can export data and further visualize beyond just data tables in excel. If there was a future integration with a platform like Tableau, that could offer so really beautiful ways to look at data in a different form than tables.
