Cons

It can be a bit complicated if managing multiple hirings at once but once you get the hang it is manageable.

Pros

Levers ease of scheduling is a huge plus for us. We have almost 1000 employees and multiple line managers and interviewers.

Cons

The usability of creating forms and process that directly aligns to our internal business needs tend to be tough or not doable at this stage in the game for Lever. We often get the answer "that's a great question, one that we have been hearing a good bit. I'll make sure we pass this onto our business systems team so they're aware."

Pros

The system has certainly saved me a LOT of admin time, which I appreciate considering we hired 8 people last month and wouldn't have been able to do that otherwise. Easy to get set up and easy to use. Take the time to get set up properly and use the workflows, i.e. easybook links, to maximise time savings.

Cons

It's an investment up front and obviously have to train the team to get up and running smoothly, but worth the effort and an intuitive interface.

Pros

Lever Hire is a great tool for structuring interviews to make sure interviewers touch upon key subjects, core competencies, etc. As the interviewer, using Level following the interview is super easy and allows for a consistent approach to evaluate candidates and provide feedback to the recruiting team. It has increased efficiency for me following interviews and has cut down on time between interview and the recruiter being able to follow up with the candidate.

Cons

When someone mentions you in a note, it sends an email, but there's not an easy way to respond to the mention. It would be great if the email included a way to respond. Also, I don't think there is a mobile app and having an app would be really useful

Pros

It was easy to use, single sign-on, links with office 365 and outlook. Easy administration, facilitates collaboration and communication, and manages and stores data.

Cons

There are few minor things like we cannot change the EEO statement to adapt to where we are located (NZ). The email sync was initially slow. Email fonts are variable but nothing we can't tolerate.

Pros

Easy to navigate, intuitive and didn't require training to use it. Makes it easy to track which applicants you've spoken to and for what roles, and you can easily reference notes and resumes. I personally love that it makes you select your preference on the candidate right then and there (though I am not sure if these are standard options or how our company chose to set it up) but having the ability to only choose Strong Yes/Yes/Strong No/No makes me think more about how I will proceed with my feedback. I also love the ability to see the resume and have the notes section up on the screen at the same time, which makes it very convenient for keeping notes on phone or video interviews.

Cons

I can't think of anything so far that I haven't liked!

Pros

The system is very intuitive. It integrates really well with LinkedIn and it has cut out a lot of the "time wasting" activities in my day (going back and forth about scheduling interviews, parsing candidates from LinkedIn, etc.)

Cons

It took some getting used to just because it's different from the previous system I was using but nothing really bad to report.

I have 17 years recruiting experience and have founded two recruiting firms, consulted for 5 startups in building the recruiting function, and now manage a talent acquisition team for a startup within a Fortune 30 company. I have used most of the major (and some unknown) Applicant Track Systems (Bullhorn, Jobvite, Maxhire, PCRecruiter, SmartRecruiters, to name a few) and none of them help move the pipeline and surface old candidates as well as Lever. Excellent product!

Pros

The ease of use if off the charts. The pipeline-centric UI makes the product very usable with little or no training.

Cons

The user permissions are a bit more complex than they need to be. The job posting service is decent, but could be improved to bring more traffic.

Overall Lever is a great tool that is perfect for small to medium sized teams. It has enabled us to stay on top of key candidates and make our hiring process much more streamlined.

Pros

\- Easy to use - Simple collaboration with team members - Nice UI/UX - Templated options to save time and ensure consistency through the hiring process

Cons

\- Analytics isn't completely intuitive - Applicant duplication isn't easy to manage - No ability to update candidate pipeline on your own

\- users LOVE IT - all of our recruiters and hiring managers love the tool and how easy it is to use - built for scale - the platform is built with scale in mind and links many data points together easily

Cons

\- administration is tricky - the ability to manage approval chains is difficult and not yet able to build based on org hierarchy from HRIS - custom fields are text boxes only, not rich fields (drop-downs, multiple choice, etc.)

Pros

The thing that I like most about Lever is that it allows us easily track our candidates through a customized pipeline that we made.

Cons

One thing that is a con is that you can't have customized accesses. This would be beneficial in several different circumstances in our business.

Time savings, scalable across teams, forcing function for HR process and data.

Pros

I really like the ability to track pipelines, feedback, and metrics across the company. This data centric approach is a huge time savings and probably a better way to recruit than the "old way". I was somewhat skeptical starting off as we were getting swamped by our applicant pipeline (just raised a large VC round and needed to expand fast), but Lever had thought about all this and had great solutions. The implementation support was superb, and really got us over the hurdle of onboarding and becoming quickly productive.

Cons

We are early in using it, but right now the biggest con is probably still need to pay for job posts (ie on LinkedIN) or spend time sourcing candidates-- so from a cost perspective, it's not a replacement for these other things. I suspect for companies that have a more relaxed hiring pace, it may not be worth the cost of paying for Lever.

Ease of workflow. Everything needed for tracking applicants is one place.

Pros

Ease of use. I love that there is one menu that takes you to everything. Candidates are easy to review, notifications are purposeful and not too intrusive, and it's so easy to train employees how to use. Also having everything integrated with gmail/google cal is incredible! The ability to leave feedback, or review a candidate profile, add notes and a number of other features available to do through email is an incomparable feature, in my opinion. Also, that you are able to book conference rooms and see interviewers availability is absolutely integral to ease of workflow.

Cons

The layout could be a little more user friendly. I wish I could see interview booking details in the same place as the feedback. Also, the easy book feature, while great in theory, still has some issues to be resolved, though the availability of the feature itself is still pretty great.

Pros

Housing referrals, applicants, and sourced candidates all in one place. Not having to engage with multiple systems to accomplish keeping track of top talent is incredibly valuable in recruiting. The "snooze" button is a fave functionality for staying in touch with pipeline talent.

Cons

It can get complicated, for an easy system, when candidates apply to multiple positions and turning them down for one but not all roles.

Lever makes the entire recruiting cycle a lot easier! It's very easy to use and has proven to be very valuable from day one!

Cons

Nothing till now. It's been great! If I had to suggest something it would be to add the ability to schedule a video conference call via lever so that you would never have to use another tool for the entire process.

Screen shots +directions for everything --The Linkedin Chrome extension is a HUGE time-saver --Submitting Referrals is super easy. --Nurture feature is awesome...also, love the fact that candidates are associated by their email address

Cons

\--Some limitations to the software if you don't opt into the Enterprise Version --I don't believe that I was intentionally misled about the product's capabilities but, there were some instances where I found myself feeling disappointed that some of the features I wanted were in Beta, weren't included in Non-enterprise version, etc. --Some of the terminology is a bit counterintuitive...'Forms' vs. 'Feedback' vs 'Templates'

Easy, very intuitive, limitless. This software beat out 6 other systems I vetted for my 100 person company and growing rapidly.

Cons

I like a little pop of color here and there but that's just my style. I anticipate they will add more automation in the workflows but lacking just a touch right now.

I like lever as a way to quickly review candidates when they apply for the job and then let the HR staff know my initial impressions. It's generally a good way to collect feedback for the interview process, but the calendar integrations are a little flakey--especially when we try to combine it with reserving a conference room.

Pros

I love about this platform is its holistic approach to the hiring cycle. Not only does it have a complete applicant tracking system, but it also provides a clear and organized view of the entire process.

Cons

It is a very complete and effective platform for managing the hiring process, there are some aspects that could be improved. I would like to mention is that sometimes the workload can be a bit slow. This can be especially noticeable when working with a large number of candidates or looking to filter specific data.
