### "An ATS even your engineers and C-levels will love to use! "

When I started here I was the 10th employee and we brought on The Resumator (now Jazz) as it was very affordable. The problem was that my hiring managers never used it and refused to leave notes/comments. Although the system was "pretty", it wasn't built for a company like ours where developers will flat out ignore a tool that isn't built well. Knowing the system is only as good as the information that's added, it was important for me to have my hiring managers' buy-in to encourage their note taking and comments. Lever was the unanimous selection. We have now grown to 80 employees and the proof is in the use of the tool. I've never seen hiring managers and recruiters so responsive and thorough in their use of an ATS before. If you want pretty colors and flashing lights, this isn't the tool for your company. If you want a seamless process and architecture that even your developers will appreciate, without spending a fortune, Lever is by far the best option. Pros: \*integrates with Namely (our HRIS), Slack and other tools \*The @ feature is amazing for communication \*Reports are robust \*our Account Manager Andrew has been a huge help Cons: \*the calendar sync is a bit wonky. It adds 3 invites which has made our calendars very busy. \*the email templates do not generate a signature \*the Lever extension still hasn't worked for us with Stack Overflow or Indeed.

### "Wanted so badly to love Lever"

After using Greenhouse for many years, I wanted so badly to love Lever, but unfortunately I couldn't wholeheartedly recommend it. I wish their customer support was better and that they had a mobile app. Compared to other ATS's out there, it's one of the better ones, though.

Pros

Lever is very easy to use and has a nice UI. I really love the Nurture feature which allows me to send emails on behalf of my colleagues.

Cons

The customer service support is not great. More often than not reps aren't available or able to answer my questions right away. The reporting UI leaves a lot to be desired, and there also isn't a snapshot of all candidates in one place.

can be buggy, esp. with permissions wishlist: more email features (bulleted emails) integration with Entelo more permission levels more functionality w/auto scheduling ability to store docs within the position for easy communication

We've been with Lever for two years and the platform has only gotten better. Lever has allowed us to streamline our hiring process and save me a significant amount of time. They also have fully featured reporting which allows for you to dig deep into what is working and what is not in your hiring process. The platform itself offers the perfect amount of customization for me and my team, we're able to configure it (with the help of our amazing integration specialist) in a way that works best for us.

I am the sole HR person for my company. Lever allows me to effectively source, recruit and hire. Plus, i am able to manage my recruiting process and save time.

Pros

Easy Book Links so that you eliminate the back and forth of scheduling candidates for interviews.

Cons

I cannot think of anything. The Customer Success team is the best I've ever experienced.

Pros

I love the ease of use, the simplicity, the ability to configure it to our needs. Also the team is fantastic!!

Cons

I wish there were more automations, and I wish we could customise how easy book links work (so it is similar to Calendly)

Lever is fast, and full of functionality to automate many of the repetitive tasks associated with the interview and hiring process.

Cons

There is no dashboard just for Coordinators, and no way to track tasks assigned to Coordinators. It would also be great if we could customize every question on the scorecards.

We've been using Lever at Distil for a little over a year and I cannot imagine ever transitioning to another ATS. Lever is very easy to use, it's intuitive and sleek. Best thing is - even our hiring managers and tech guys love using it! The only advise I would give them is keep doing what you are doing!

the software lacks granular customization - e.g. for scorecards you can't rank a candidate from a quantitative score - it's just a scale from 1-4

I enjoy the product a lot and am extremely happy with our choice to purchase Lever.

Pros

The integration features that Lever has with Google is GREAT! It makes the syncing of emails, schedules, and feedback pretty much seamless.

Cons

There are some little glitches when the initial sync happens that should be discussed more during the implementation process. Regarding the syncing capabilities, certain features need to be turned on / off in Gsuite. We were not aware of this and some work from our IT department needs to happen. In addition, the scheduling feature should be updated so that the invites are created better = 1 invite that has the feedback and only goes to the interviewer and the other one goes to both to the interviewer and candidate. Right now they are separate emails and, for us, this is a problem as we use Google Hangouts and the invites create separate links to the hangout.

Pros

I love how it's now so easy to review lots of candidates at speed. The platform is intuitive and easy to use, drawing in the right information that you need on candidates. Easy to collaborate with other co-workers on vacancies. Great UX!

Cons

I love Lever. It makes it easy to be efficient in the recruitment process and it saves us time and ensures a great candidate experience.

Fast implementation and excellent candidate management!

Pros

The software is easy to implement, it is easy to train hiring managers how to use, it is easy to configure, it is just easy. With a candidate-centric view of the world, it allows us to easily shift candidates from one potential role to another, or no role at all, and still be able to keep track of them. The integration with Google Enterprise Calendars and Mail makes scheduling phone calls and interviews incredibly easy, and the calendar events have links to the forms we set up to capture interview information. E-Mail templates, including links to allow candidates to schedule their own interviews, are easy to use and have fields that are auto-populated from the candidates' information.

Cons

There are still some glitches in the e-mail templates as far as what the sender sees, but it is fine for what the recipient sees.

Pros

\- There are so many features and 2018 has so far come with more improvements and tools - keep it up! - Our CSM, Chelsea is A M A Z I NG. Really the bees knees. She is quick to respond, knows the product in and out, and if she doesn't I'm confident she will find out and report back.

Cons

\- There are so many features that many times usability is not intuitive. There are many help articles out there but many times we have a specific problem to our system, and digging through the many hyperlinks/videos takes too much time

Pros

I love the ability to share links & custom tracking for referrals so that our team can be in tune with where applicants are coming from.

Cons

The mobile site is really limited -I always have to go back to the main page to view the desktop version.

Gave us the ability to gather every resource in a single place with all their details, CV, notes, Email threads and communication. The fact that if you're approaching hundred of candidates at any given point in time, the flow is automated and moves each candidate from one stage to another. This really helped us ensure nothing falls between the cracks or that we missed a chance to reach out to a great candidate.

Pros

Allowed us to scale our global talent pool in an organized manner while automating the entire process, from gathering details, reaching out to candidates, vetting/testing and eventually assigning recruits to current ongoing projects.

Cons

Support is set to fixed working hours/days, should be 24/7 in consideration of timezone differences for the MENA region.

It has really helped our company organize the hiring process. I have multiple hiring managers utilizing it and they love it as well.

Pros

I love how Lever keeps track of all candidates from different platforms. It is easy to use and track the whole interview process all the way to the offer stage. I love the reports section where you can see all of the data within your hiring process.

Cons

Cannot add images to email signature. Cannot merge candidates if they applied more than once.

Customer Support and Implementation Team has been really phenomenal, so quick, and really on top it!

Pros

Before Lever, our hiring process was tracked manually and no one was submitting feedback. We now have a process in place and a tool that offers speed and scalability. We love how customizable it is and that it syncs with LinkedIn and Google Calendars. Lever helps collaborative hiring, aligns key stakeholders – recruiters, hiring managers, leadership, and interviewers – around the hiring process to make it move as rapidly and effectively as possible. Now all employees can identify, engage, and hire the best talent with the speed and agility that comes from having everyone on the same page.

Cons

A few little things that need updates. - Having to change the subject line of a calendar invite everytime you reschedule - The job description template page is not customizable

Streamlined interviewing, more efficient communication within our team, more specific feedback from hiring managers after interviews, easier sourcing through chrome extension and nurture/email integration.

Pros

Lever Nurture has been a huge help; starting an email campaign and forgetting it let's me consistently move forward to find more candidates. The scheduling process has been improved too through Lever's calendar integration, and note tagging. Note tagging and email integration has helped our team communicate more effectively regarding the hiring process.

Cons

I've run into a few bugs, but they've all quickly been resolved through the support team. I have had some persistent alerts telling me to complete feedback, and I would like to see an easier way to dismiss those alerts (most frequently, I'm not completing feedback because a candidate didn't answer the phone for a scheduled interview).
