Pros

We hire similar skillsets across the USA. With Lever I can develop candidate relationships and match them to multiple opportunities easily. As a single recruiter for more than 50 openings, I'm more efficient than ever. I utilize LinkedIn Recruiter search that seamlessly integrates with Lever and helps me track potential applicant reach outs, and puts my hunt on the next level! Implementation was an easy, guided process that left me as an expert and ready to recruit!

Cons

There is nothing that I can think of that I don't like.

Love the software, could use a little better CS.

Pros

Love LEVER! It is an amazing ATS for our company. The software is organized and easy to use!

Cons

CUSTOMER SERVICE: horrible! There is NO phone service available for the customer service team, and that is insane. When asked why... The rep let me know they are "too busy now" to speak on the phone.

Pros

What I love most about Lever is its simplicity. I mean that in the purest way... it's just so simple and easy to use. Rather than having an extremely complicated candidate application process - Lever can take a resume and auto-build a basic candidate profile. Additionally, I cannot describe how helpful the offer letter templates are. Being able to generate my offer letters easily and directly through Lever has effectively saved our team hours of time.

Cons

Although I love the simplicity - Lever is a very "bland" looking software. As far as user experience and visual flair, Lever is very vanilla... pretty cut and dry software.

Lever collected applicants from multiple job postings into a single location where we able to review them and manage our interview process. The templated emails and well-defined stages made it easy and efficient to manage at relatively high volume. I used Lever to make multiple hires.

Pros

It was easy to review applicants and send a templated email as they were progressed in the interview process or dropped out.

Cons

Overall it was great. There are certain job filters that threw me off occasionally, but only slightly. Definitely not a deal breaker.

Great product - have not regretted our move. We're hiring faster than ever, and the company seems much more aligned in hiring.

Pros

\- From the very beginning, Lever was high-touch and hands on with their implementation. This made what I thought would be the hardest part of the process very easy. - Great UI, very intuitive. Far easier to get hiring managers to use a product that operates so easily. - Built for collaboration. The product makes gathering feedback very simple and with customized feedback forms, it saves a lot of time--no longer are we chasing people around to get feedback. Candidates are much more satisfied. - Open to suggestions. We've had issues or requests with the product that Lever has been very receptive to. I love that we can look forward to a constantly improving product.

Cons

\- Reporting can be a bit limiting, but that comes with the territory when you have a product that is this easy and intuitive. - Scheduling through Google Calendars (as some competitors do) would be a really nice plus.

When we screened other ATS vendors, before making the choice to partner with Lever, we sensed that Lever was the best team & had the best product on the market. Now that we've been using Lever for more than 8 months, I am confident it was the best choice, and they've been exceeded our expectations so many times!

Pros

Unlike other ATS that are cluttered / not logical, Lever is simple and makes sense! We've been using it for 8 months now, and our recruiters & hiring teams love it. From an admin point of view, I also value the great quality of the customer success team, and the implementation teams. They provide almost real-time support, are very efficient, and always friendly! Finally, the product is constantly evolving, and takes into account our own improvement requests, which feels like we're really partnerring with Lever.

Cons

Almost no access to reporting for recruiters, only 'admin' roles can access reporting, which had lead us to open the role "admin" to more people than what we initially wanted to. But the build-in reports are really useful. There can be some data inconsistencies when it comes to reporting. Some data don't stock memory of changes, which is a challenge when we want to look deeper into more advanced historical reports.

Overall, I think Lever's by far the best product on the market for those who are focusing on sourcing for good candidates for jobs. This tool is the most efficient one I've seen: I single-handedly ran 200 senior candidates through the tool via sourcing in my first month at work, from sourced to 2X hires. Saying that, the sales process could be better and they're a bit unnecessary when it comes to additional features. All in all, grit your teeth and just do it. It'll turn Recruitment into an organised, and very professional flow in a matter of days.

Pros

\- Time Efficient: LinkedIn extension, and the flow of the work means 1 person can manage 100s of candidates: and survive. - The Sourcing Dream: if you're sourcing candidates it's your best friend: it takes me 30 seconds to onboard a new lead - Customisable interview sheets: it's so easy to give feedback on a candidate once you get going. -,Wonderful Onboarding Support: once you've made the decision your onboarding support is impressive, professional, and great.

Cons

\- Price: it's not cheap, but the price does vary according to company size. It's worth it if you've hired anyone dedicated to recruitment. - Integrations: things like a Slack integration are unnecessarily pricey features. The same comes for the amount of integrations (not that many) as well as the price tag to do each one (something as necessary as a DocuSign integration costs serious cash). That limits you, and feels annoying. - Sales process: it's not the best sales experience. They aren't flexible on things like multi-year deals, or any way to help you line up the Product with your current budget. That makes no sense.

Pros

It is extremely easy to use, and the customer support team is great. Candidates also do not have to go through a lengthy application process or use a complicated interface in order to submit their applications to us through Lever.

Cons

It is not easily customizable to your specific team's needs. Although, the Lever team does push updates on a regular basis that does improve the usability of the product, it still leaves a lot to be desired.

Overall much more efficient than other systems we were using, Can be a little difficult for older non-tech savvy people.

Pros

I love that Lever allows clear communication between everyone on the hiring team. It cuts out all of the need to chase down anyone. Everyone can see what is going on in Lever.

Cons

There was a steep learning curve for my team and I. We had to click around trying to figure out how the reports work and what information is being referenced in each report. There is definitely room for improvement in the whole reporting section.

Pros

solid and reliable (which is what you need when you have a large user base and many candidate profiles processed through the tool)

Cons

When glitches occur troubleshooting can be slow as the support is not as responsive as with some other companies.

quick, fast, hooked into linkedin for ease of use

Pros

Drag and drop resumes in to profiles, LinkedIn plug in, switching candidates into various stages and easily seeing your entire pipeline.

Cons

The data is lacking. It is very hard to pull accurate reports, if one thing changes all the data is thrown off. I found it challenging to be able to show technical interviews vs. recruiter phone screen data as they are all listed as phone interviews.

As the lead HR person of this implementation - I found the transition and the different features of LEVER to be useful, up-to-date, and the thoughtful implementation project details that was being presented to me.

Pros

User friendly as both a user (testing the product) and a administrator ( migrating candidates from another ATS with good instructions) Did not experience any "system crash" during the transition - reliable system. Automation features have worked smoothly to ensure positive applicant experience and HR experience. Reporting ( data collection ) is easy to gather and serves the needs for presentation to our internal customers.

Cons

In addition to Google Chrome would like to see LEVER be able to optimize its performance using other platforms to for applicants who do prefer to use other search engines. From a presentation/ branding standpoint, prefer to have the logo appears in the resume received/thank you for applying emails to candidates. When migrating active candidates from the other ATS to LEVER, have to first saved the resume of each candidate before transferring them in groups to applicant@hire.lever.com Would be nice to click & print resume versus downloading the document prior to printing it when needed Under interview tag, the initials appeared next to the candidate name, belong to the owner of each job and not necessarily the last user who scheduled the interview. Have to flip down to the activity /transactions below the resume of the candidate to find out who is the scheduler of the interview.

Pros

I really appreciate the customer service. They take the time to learn your recruiting process and are very knowledgeable and stay up to date with new features.

Pros

Tracking candidates, keeping them informed, staying organized, and scheduling group interviews are all jobs that Lever does better than any other method I've tried. Interview scheduling — especially group interviews — works so well and instills a lot of confidence every step of the way that I've actually used their interface as an example of how to execute great interface design.

Cons

I wish I could customize the interview phases to match our actual process. For example, there is an "onsite interview" step that really just means "final interview" for us. It seems leftover from an era when interviews were almost or usually done in-person. That's almost never the case anymore.

Pros

We needed a software that would make our process time efficient and would be easy to use by every stakeholder and Lever is just that - a lot of smart functions that save a lot of time, a lot of automation, and the impolementation process was so easy thanks to \[sensitive content hidden\]! Each time I sent an email asking about something she was already on top of everything, no question was left unanswered.

Cons

Nothing much to complain, I guess it depends on each company. Lever does a great job on molding based on each company's needs and if anything is missing they add it to their list of developments, all feedback is considered which is something really really nice.

Pros

Based on the fact that we didn't have an ATS before, Lever has changed my life :) After benchmarking a few solutions in the fall, we decided to go with Lever - and have not regretted our choice. The tool is rather easy to get used to, and is very complete: it allows us to make our recruitment process a lot more professional, to centralize info, to give more visibility to the hiring managers and to improve the overall candidate experience. Also, the Lever team members I have been in contact with were all great and super reactive/ready to help (thanks \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]).

Cons

From the perspective that I currently have, there's not much: a better design for the interface could be a lead ;)

Overall it's been great, it's just so easy to use, easy to refer, and it's rarely buggy.

Pros

I've used Lever as a hiring manager and as an indivicual contributor, both in sales roles and at Yelp and Gong.io. What I like about the Lever is the friendly UI, search that actually works, and ability to customize work flows for interviewing. Lever makes it easy to refer people as well. There's a lot of ATS options on the market and I've used at least 5 of them now, and have to say Lever is near the top, if not the top. It's not as robust as say a Workday, but it gets the job done.

Cons

Since I'm not in recruiting and have never implemented Lever, I'm not sure I can really say what's not to like. I've heard the down side is Lever intergrates with a lot of systems, but there's not much native capabilities to get very customized, but they intergrate with all the platforms that 90% of tech companies use I think.

Pros

Lever is phenomenal! As an experienced Recruiter, I've used Lever, Greenhouse, and JazzHR, and Lever is by far my favorite! Lever can be implemented quickly and easily, and is a great price for the value. It's a very intuitive system and easy to use, thus ensuring 100% adoptability amongst employees and interviewers. The scheduling within Lever is easy, Feedback forms are straight forward, and the UI is sleek!

Cons

Like all other ATSs on the market, in order to get reporting to give any useful information, all jobs have to have the same stages.

EVERYTHING about leading a talent function is easier with Lever.

Pros

The ability to easily implement and adopt this software was critical and a major reason we decided on Lever. Given company wide adoption was necessary for our new ATS, ensuring we found something that everyone from Talent to Engineering, and everything in between would be comfortable with was key. Lever makes it easy for everyone, at all different levels, to get value from the platform. Since adoption, the participation around recruitment activity such as referrals and interview feedback has dramatically increased.

Cons

It honestly becomes a bit difficult for me to think of a true "con" to this software. Anytime there has been an update or new feature that i thought wasn't the right way to go, I've been completely wrong. The Lever team listens to their customers, understands our needs, and delivers on it before we even have a chance to know it was something that needed to be fixed. If I REALLY had to think of something, it would be that I can't group my users by team in administrative settings. It would be great to search by team/group vs. name.
