Pros

Before Lever, I was using a manual spreadsheet to track candidates and their interview status. But now with Lever, I don't need to do this anymore. Lever notifies me each time I need to pay attention. It is great.

Cons

There is a lot of emails that comes from Lever any time someone makes a comment or change.

Using Lever has been a good experience for our team overall - it's centralized all of our recruiting operations in a single platform, making it easier to track candidates and hire them!

Pros

Lever has all of the features you would expect in an ATS - an easy to set up careers page, configurable roles and permissions, feedback forms, customizable steps in the interview process, scheduling, and more.

Cons

New team members often find it unintuitive to figure out how to add feedback. I also don't like the lack of formatting options in the feedback text boxes - for example, bullets copied in from a Word or Google Doc are lost, resulting in garbled text.

This tool helps manage the process for screening and interviewing candidates. You can also extend offer letters directly through lever, making it a one stop shop for recruiters & managers looking to fill new positions within the company.

Pros

My company uses lever to track new candidates for hire with collecting resume info, keeping track of interview stages, and having interviewers provide feedback on candidate and whether to move to the next steps. I liked the ability to enter my interview notes directly in the platform and see how others rated & commented on my potential new hires. I also liked that I could review incoming candidates and mark any that I wanted to phone screen or disqualify. I could ping my recruiter directly in the profile for next steps on each candidate.

Cons

I feel like it is a bit clunky and I often had to dig around to find all the new candidate info coming in. I am not sure if this was how the recruiting team managed the tool, but candidates were not always properly updated or archived if they weren't a fit, so I would spend time reviewing resumes & trying to promote them to phone interviews only to find out they weren't active candidates and should have been archived.

Pros

The amount of information that it pulls into one convenient tab is very helpful to get a snapshot of the candidates you are reviewing for open positions. I really like that it has both the resume as submitted and a simplified version without formatting so you can focus on the key elements that are important for your interview. I also like the review section that gathers feedback from the various people who interview the candidate.

Cons

For the price point I think this product as about as competitive as other similarly priced options and needs more to make it stand out. Everything works fine but it navigating the various screens and tabs can get overwhelming when you're looking for specific info. I don't find the search function particularly useful except to search for specific candidates by name.

Pros

Lever is a great tool to promote upskilling and career development. Its interface guaranteed a great visibility to all candidates looking for a new role or the next step in their career.

Cons

Lever is like most platform, you get the result proportionately to the efforts and information you put in. So make sure you give enough details for the platform to be useful to your employees.

Pros

The product is really intuitive and easy to use. I like the workflows that it features, the candidate-centric vs. task centric way in which the product is build, and when things occasionally do go wrong, the customer support team is incredibly responsive.

Cons

Not much. I wish that the product offered some kind of interview team resource center where people could go to access various documents related to the position that they are interviewing for.

The pipeline reporting tools have all the metrics that we need. Also, the email templates make responding to lots of applicants bearable.

Cons

Pros

Awesome candidate and recruiter-centric features and reporting out of the box, and automation/customization to make the workflow smoother and faster. Great implementation and training experience as well, was able to get the platform live in a compressed amount of time. Support team is responsive and helpful. Great knowledge base to use during implementation and post go-live.

Cons

TBD - still early with the platform. There’s some product feedback shared aleady to improve candidate scheduling, agency portal and other workflow but the team’s receptive and we’re hopeful to seeing improvements soon!

Pros

There are some neat features like Lever Nurture which allows you to create small email drip campaigns to potential candidates. Some flexibility and ability to scale with requisitions and job postings.

Cons

Overbloated with advanced features and integrations with none of the basic ones. Support would sometimes not respond or take days to respond. I don't know how large companies scale with this software.

For HR services and recruitment its a best software for executing the activates. We have already crossed 5000+ interviews using this software and working fine.

Pros

We use it majorly for internal job referrals. Its very easy for the user to refer a person and our HR feel easy to track it down for interview & onboarding.

Cons

Referee has to be update after filling form as automation, but some times automation mail is not delivered.

Pros

Ease of use by everyone in the business. Smart features such as resume parsing, calendar integration and interview scheduling.

Cons

Minimum time between meetings using the 'Easy book' link could be included so that meetings can't be booked back to back.

Overall, I’m pleased that we made the transition.

Pros

Both the candidate experience exponentially improved and the hiring managers love being in the system and having access to potential hires. On the recruitment side : Lever is pretty intuitive. Functionality and features are similar to social media sites you’re likely already using. The turn around time for implementation was pretty impressive given the nature of our organization’s federated model. The team is helpful and accessible throughout implementation. Transitioning into support was bitter sweet but the team has been just as great. The system doesn’t have everything we want but the Lever team does make a concerted effort to solution with us on other options or discussing whether it can be put on the road map.

Cons

Reporting could use some enhancements. We have multiple instances that we had created for our organization but there isn’t a way that allows for insight into all of them from a macro perspective.

We are a small to medium sized Australian tech company and we recently implemented Lever. I could not praise CSR our Implementation Specialist enough for all the help she gave us throughout the implementation. As Lever is a US company CSR was on a different time zone to Australia but was always there to help no matter what time of day it was. Lever itself is a fantastic ATS, their API is robust so it integrates with lots of other tools. It is a simple system to use with good UX. The only con I would have is that it is focused on the US market more so than Australia.

Pros

\-Simplicity -Ease of use -Good customer support -Good integration API -Great reporting functionality.

Cons

\-More suited to US market - doesnt integrate with alot of Australian systems. -Although it integrates with Seek you still have to post the advert in Seek so it doubles up the work.

Pros

It is easy to use and configure. The interface is pretty intuitive and it was easy for hiring managers to use without much training.

Cons

I felt there were some tradeoffs on configuration options to increase simplicity and ease of use. One example is that there are only a few basic mail merge tags available for creating for commonly used email templates (like interview confirmations). As a result you have to type in some of the information manually.

Pros

Lever Nurture Campaign is a great tool to create automated recruiting drip email campaigns. This is not a tool you can find in Greenhouse

Cons

Terrible UI, just shades of grey. The workflow isn't intuitive. Its not customizable at all. You have to get someone in support to change some of the fields in your scorecard.

Pros

The well-planned implementation process made Lever a smooth transition from our old ATS, Jobvite. The Lever team was extremely responsive and detailed in helping integrate Lever into our unique recruitment process. All the recommendations for best-practices in Lever have been very helpful for our start-up company based in Kenya! Our Implementation Specialist was very accommodating to our time-zone difference and unique international needs.

Cons

There are tons of awesome integrations of other platforms (Google suite, DocuSign, etc.) into the Lever system. Sometimes these integrations take quite some-time to understand and customize to our recruitment needs. However, once they're customized they work great!

Relatively minor issue with the way the scheduling function is configured to create double invites for interviewers and candidates - this quickly blocks up our recruitment team's calendar

I wish I had discovered Lever years ago, when I was still operating my own recruitment agency. Nowadays, I'm limited in its use (being just a "Hiring Manager"), but from what I can see, recruiters and HR people in my company are quite happily relying on Level - as I'm sure with it you don't risk to forget anything (something that happens quite often in traditional recruitment agencies or large companies which have not upgraded their sourcing/recruiting tools to 2020 standards!)

Pros

I like how easy it is to keep track of job vacancies, candidates referrals and scheduled interviews. Lever makes the life of recruiters much easier, being able to save lot of time and getting rid of endless spreadsheets or old-fashion paperwork.

Cons

You need sometime before getting used to Lever settings (like to understand "what to find" and "where"). But once you get it, especially with a look at its documentation, it will be easier for everyone keeping track of any progress, keeping track of candidates and job openings.
