Pros

Bundles has been very useful! Although, if the customer is paying later, you then have to cancel and re-bundle the activities when they do pay or have separate payments which is annoying. The reports are also nice. Splitting payments by ticket.

Cons

Biggest con is the lack of features. You can't split payments in the app. You can't split payments by cost (although by ticket is nice!). You can't apply a discount code after someone has already booked. You can't apply a code to a specific ticket type. In our community, people love booking last minute (under an hour), but the system only allows an activity to be booked 1+ hours in advanced or right up to the activity. Our activities are time sensitive and we don't want people booking under 30 minutes because there wouldn't be enough time for people to arrive and start on time. We'd like there to be an option of being able to book up to '30 minutes' (at least) before an activity starts. Also, we'd like to be able to close out 1 or more activities after at least 2 or 3 have been booked. As of right now, we can only close out the rest of our activities after only 1 activity has been booked. Finally, there is no way to create gift cards codes for a physical gift card. We have physical gift cards that customers can purchase in-store, but we have to set it up like a discount code instead of a regular gift card which ultimately messes with taxes.

Biggest benefit for me is having clients booking and paying in advance so I am assured of them showing up for tours. I also don't have to carry and collect money while considering exchange from dollars to pesos at the beginning of the tour!

Pros

Easy to use for both customers and non-technical me; smooth integration with my website; continued added features helpful.

Cons

Needed a few Live Chats to understand some features and how to use them. Creating widgets for products took a bit of a learning curve and written instructions could be clearer so I didn't have to access Live Chat.

It has been an easy transition into the service and I have already had numerous online bookings and have been able to book them myself through the site as well.

Pros

It was quick to learn and flowed easily for me. Really looks professional and has everything you can think of from booking to getting through to abandoned emails. No matter what I asked this program was able to do it.

Cons

I think there is so much that it can do it is hard to learn all at once. Otherwise it's a process to get through it all.

### "2 activities for one software"

Pros

I can have tours and bike rentals, with one software, have a calendar and the widgets

Cons

the rentals software is not fully developed and we also have 2 branches and is a nightmare to set up every product to make the distinction for 2 locations . You cannot archive past activities uf they had bookings, so We have at least 2 unoque events every month so our list of activities is long and we can´t erase them at least. We are located in Mexico, so we need to have 2 languages set up and so far we have to do everything twice and the widget format doesn´t change to spanish, so our local costumers are not confident during the booking procedure.

As mentioned I have been looking for a sotware that will assist us in selling our product as well as an internal reservations system. This has worked for both. Loving it!!

Pros

I have been looking for a booking software for the company that I work for for years. I have used a few but after a year I discontinued using it because they never met the needs of the business. is amazing. It is so easy to use and set up. I enjoy navigating through the process of booking tours as well as the back of house setting up tours. I can't wait to utilise it in its full capacity.

Cons

There has been a few glitches. In the beginning it kept saying that all tours were booked. I had a few people call me asking me if we have availability, because when they book online it says full. We rectified it. I still have some problems setting up new tour times and when I went to the support team I never got an answer back.

Reason for choosing Peek Pro

One of the reasons we chose was because it was to be compatible with our POS. EposNow. The integration hasn't happened yet but waiting to see if it happens.

I switched to from Get In Sell Out about 2 months ago, and there's no looking back! I love the clean look of Peek and the ease of use for both my customers and on the back end. Their setup fee was nominal, and the operating costs are flexible. All of the credit card processing is done seamlessly through Stripe, unlike with GISO where folks were redirected to PayPal. Also since Peek is just a little pop up on the screen, our customers don't actually leave our website when they're booking a tour. Another thing that's helpful on the backend is being able to input a customer's credit card when they call in. Our previous system was to send a paypal invoice. Everything is streamlined and just makes sense. Customer service has been nothing but friendly, prompt, and helpful. One con I have right now is regarding private tours. With GISO, I was used to being able to set up a private tour and link the customer directly to that tour. With Peek, you can easily set up a private tour, but you need to link the customer to a calendar that they then have to select which date they want to book. This also means that I can't have multiple private tours on that calendar... especially since the pricing is usually different for each private tour. So, for every private tour we book, we need to add a new tour with a new description and a new price AND make a new calendar that only has that tour on it to be able to link our customer to it. It seems like there simply "must be an better way!" Another feature that I would love to see is to open up the bookout window for tours once they are already booked. We require guests to book a tour at least 48 hours in advance. This is to make sure that one of our guides are available. So, if it's March 1st today and someone books a tour for March 20th, we make sure a guide is available, no problem. Now on March 19th, someone looks at our website, sees there's a tour on the 20th and wants to reserve it. It seems to me that it'd be pretty easy to have an algorithm that was something like: "If 0 people have reserved this tour, let customers book up until 48 hours before start time. If 1+ people have reserved this tour, let customers book up until 2 hours before start time." I was informed that the Peek team is constantly working on features and updates, which makes me hopeful for both of these issues. As it stands right now, I am 100% happy with Peek and these changes would just be bonuses.

Pros

Peek is really easy for the user and our guests. The back-end took us a little bit of time, but honestly not much. And the guest experience is very simple!

Cons

I wish it had a couple of more customizable options - like discounts for specific tours instead of one overall discount code.

### "Awful Customer Service"

I'd suggest saving yourself the pain and finding another platform.

Pros

If this software did everything it claimed then it would be great. A lot of features require tedious work arounds and a huge amount of work on the back end.

Cons

Customer service are abysmal, without notice in the middle of the pandemic they switched to US opening times which meant as a UK customer we were left stranded with glitches and errors massively effecting our workflow.

Fareharbor at the time did not allow a tour operator to be responsible for the costs of the booking but instead levied the 6% on the customer at the end of the booking. This has now changed. Fareharbor also did not have a suitable rental system for our business.

Love the customer interfaces and customization options. The booking flow widgets are also really great.

Cons

So far so good, but I do wish there was integration with MailChimp. Also a few minor fixes or features I would change to improve user experience.

Great overall. Real people (not automated) customer service is the strongest selling point to your platform 100%.

Pros

Customer support is the best in my opinion. In particular a huge shout out to \[sensitive content hidden\] based out of Chile who was a massive help with tweeking, building and launching the website. She deserves a raise!

Cons

Some inflexibilities with how gift cards can be promoted and used by the customer. Also there is no peek widget to be able to connect live reviews from tripadvisor or google review.

Pros

The Peek team made the software simple to launch. The ability for customers to book online in advance made an immediate impact on our business. We've had great experiences with the customer support team. They solve problems quickly, they understand our needs, and are pro-active in helping us look ahead to the next steps.

Cons

We have both activities and rentals available on Peek, and we'd like to see some of the same features available for rentals that are available for activities. (For instance, being able to send a weather cancellation email to all customers with reservations for that day in one-click.)

There was a slight learning curve coming from FareHarbor but it's really easy to catch on.I like the customer flows so much more thank FareHarbor.

Pros

The flows are much nicer for the customer.

Cons

Google calendar integration could be easier.Waivers need some work comaired to smart waiver.I would really like to see the POS system offered on android devices.

Pros

Peek is specialized for tours. Better for us than the one size fits all companies. Reservations and payment processing are A+ for sure. If we're forced to cancel a tour or event because of mother nature the reschedule process is pretty simple with Peek.

Cons

Peek takes a percentage of sales. There's no option to purchase a monthly subscription instead. I feel more comfortable when I have different options VS. "take it or leave it".

awesome! great simple yet sophisticated software, and great customer service

Pros

The booking flow is extremely straightforward, and simple for the user. They are pretty much prohibited from making mistakes, and the interface is clean and not messy. For a new user, the setup team was fantastic and I didn't have to lift a finger, other than learn how to use the product. I was pulled in a million different directions at the time but they are patient and very nice and understanding

Cons

I would prefer that the customer had to read through the rental waiver first and sign it before they did the booking

So we now have two seperate programs, one for boats and one for lodging. They both handle their respective rolls but I wish I could get one that did everything. In short, if I only had boat rentals, or paddleboards or similar, it would be fine.

Pros

I use this for rental boat booking and scheduling, which it does pretty well. Photos of the different products, and I like that I can set it up to send me a text when a booking is received. I do appreciate that the team went out of their way to try to make it work, and they are always reachable and willing to help.

Cons

We also have rental cabins and campsites, but Peek does not work for this, due to the way the program is written it is VERY difficult to make the software confirm to standard lodging practices (such as 11AM checkin-3PM checkout) it wants to change everything back to standard 9am to 5pm.

Reason for choosing Peek Pro

Cost (we are a very small company and didn't know if we would get many online bookings or not) and availability of support.

It's great for my needs as an escape room owner.

Pros

Most everything is self explanatory, and the issues I have encountered, Peek support is able to solve within minutes.

Cons

When you want to create a promotion that someone can use a code for a short period of time, instead of it being able to be used between X and Y, you have to exclude all dates up to X, and all dates after Y.

The very fact that you are sending this survey with a coupon is fantastic--shows how much you desire and solicit and value vendor input

Pros

Great service in setting up, using, helping with problems

Cons

It should be easier to block out the schedule in a chronological calendar form I desire more flexibility in setting up booking dates so customers have more choices--they may have but I am not aware of it. I don't want to be limited to just 3 separate booking per day if the customer wants to buy the entire day for example.

Pros

There is nothing good to say about this company. Their customer support is a disaster and I am now switching over to Fareharbor

Cons

I had a customer chargeback over 3 weeks ago and the problem has still not been resolved. Peek does not only not return my phone calls, but when I try calling them (for the past 5 days in a row), you get the same message that you are the next caller in the queue and then after waiting 5 minutes, another automated message comes on stating that their lines are busy and to try calling back at another time . Its unbelievable . I actually starting writing customer support emails to ask if they are going out of business, and still no response to even that. So perhaps they are going out of business? And if they are not, then I would suggest that they close shop anyway because the horrendous customer support is something I have never experienced in my entire career in business.
