We no longer lose the expensive laptops that go out on the field which is a huge relief. I can now see at a glance which employees have possession of the projectors as opposed to having to send 10 e-mails to non-responsive individuals. It tracks all maintenance records in one place; therefore the trucks will not break down on the side of the road during a job. Pros The dashboard is fairly well organized. I do not get headaches trying to find the checkout button and I am also impressed that the custom fields function with our unique lab equipment (without crashing). The asset panda software manages the multiple accounts for our company's various branches across three states. Good enough. I like the fact that the mobile app will scan the barcodes (even when I am in a rush) and the warehouse lighting is flickering. I am happy that the api did not take down the entire server when we added it. Cons The search bar in asset panda is almost completely useless unless you know exactly what the name of the cable is that you are searching for and will not provide related searches. My largest complaint is that previous reservations stay in the system indefinitely and you have to individually select delete each time which is an absolute nightmare. Our Customer Support Specialist saved us from scrapping this great investment and relieved the frustrations we had due to our lack of preparation in the initial setup. Pros We have found Asset Panda amazingly configurable and it hit all of the things we wanted in one SaaS. We needed something for inventory, asset mgmt, maintenance records and scheduling, and check in/out. Set up can be a little tough, so you use the implementation specialist as much as possible, they are the experts to set you up for success. To be honest, we didn't do this well. Having the system for 6 months and not using it well, we weren't sure it had a high ROI for us. As that happened, our Customer Success Specialist contacted us and was able to redeem the system for us, walking us through a few changes to completely revamp our process to make this system work amazingly well for us. We like having access to the data in the phone app, and using the barcode scan options save time. It's been a great decision to move forward with this tool, and it continues to improve and do more for us. Pros This software is highly customizable, and has grown increasingly more robust over the last couple of years. It was easy for us to import all our old data and get started. We use it to track computer assets and inventory, and we have been able to tweak the setup to make it work better for us over the last 3 years as we learn more about what it can do, and what we need from the software. Cons There are some times in the screens were you can accidentally make changes to your whole inventory, rather than just a few items, and it's not really clear that would happen.
