Pros

Its malleability and control were the key factors in our decision. We had had a software previously which was VERY limited! As far as you want to take Asset Panda (thus far) you can. Boxes, names, products, records, reporting information, everything is changed easily by yourself - with extra help if needed (not so far) from the Asset Panda support team - means that you can tailor the product to your own needs quickly and easily without waiting weeks for 'one of the IT department to facilitate' which is what happened to us before elsewhere. Both the Online experience and the Mobile App are very easy to use and records are as clear or as in depth as you want tp make them... Very very pelased so far!

Cons

There is nothing so far that we have had issue with as far as Asset Panda products or staff are concerned.

### "We love Asset Panda!"

Pros

We used to use asset cloud and didn't have any means have tying a user or email address to an asset that was being assigned or checked out to someone, so we would have to manually enter the user's information to track who was using it and how long they had it. Asset Panda gave us the ability to change that with its various integrations as well as the ability to customize the check-out process.

Cons

It was a bit challenging to program AP the way we wanted, but even then, the implementation team helped us hit the ground running.

### "Great for asset tracking, but the assignment and reservations functions are severely lacking"

It's a single database that tracked the current state of all assets with an easy to use interface that is accessable over the web.

Pros

Once you have the record structure, it becomes easy to replicate assets, without having to bill import. The report generation, while simple and limited, meets all of our needs.

Cons

Asset reservation is completely disjointed and require manual assignment when reservation time occures. The only automated function to assign for a reservation overwrites current assignment. This is preventing us from using this feature entirley. Here is an example use case that fails: We wish to reserve a single or group of assetts starting when it's next free, 2 weeks from now. If we setup the reservation job to assign the assets, the current assignment will be overwritten, making me the current owners instead of the person who is using the equipment for the next 2 weeks. This is completely broken and not worth using.

### "Amazing product reasonably priced"

I couldn't imagine a better software. The team at Asset Panda has made this software so flexible, customizable and proactive I couldn't imagine it getting better. Automated reporting allows me to be proactive about updating information with out having to remember anything because it will tell me.

Pros

It is just as robust in an IOS or Andriod app as it is on the computer. I am not limited to what I can do from my Ipad, Iphone or Samsung phone. As well I love that I can attach documents, pictures, repair notes, and work orders to the assets. The ease of use is so simple, it is basically intuitive to navigate throughout and find or adjust whatever you need. Fast reading scanner from any device but seems easiest to use in IOS.

Cons

Sometimes when I come across a new model or manufacture I have to exit the asset section of the software to go add the manufacture or model. Small complaint but still a little time consuming.

Reason for choosing Asset Panda

no added devices needed. Cloud based. Price per asset and not per license as an option. Customizability and infinite adjustment of users abilities to view, change or add information to what seems like any field.

### "Asset Panda helps QAM get it together"

Pros

Asset Panda has helped QAM in organizing both equipment location and the calibration of that equipment. We have construction projects all over the country and needed the capability to track locations and when equipment needs rotating out due to calibrations coming due. Asset Panda has also helped in tracking repair costs/calibration costs.

Cons

There have been frustrations in getting certain processes to work but the tech support has been very helpful. The actual cons have been minimal.

Ease of managing assets and who they are assigned to, and how customizable individual asset objects are to our needs.

Cons

Integrations and automated imports. JAMF syncs often error out when an existing device is re-enrolled in JAMF and given a new JAMF ID, and there's no way to quickly update the JAMF ID in Asset Panda to re-sync them. You need to manually import the asset via csv, which overwrites all of the previous asset history. Would also like to be able to directly import/sync assets from AzureAD/InTune.

Incredibly Helpful Staff WHENEVER I have called, it has solved our tool inventory issue! Keeping everyone up to date through emails on any improvements with the software, personal phone call before renewal... I cant say enough about this program and what it has done for our company

Pros

I love that each person has their own username and the app is super helpful when we are not in the office.

Cons

The app is limited to a few modules at quick glance. The reports and settings could be simplified but you get used to the work around. We all wish we didn't have to change our password every 6 months

Overview and product tracking

Pros

Generating overviews and filtering. Adding fields and configuration .

Cons

The performance is not good, most of the time slow response. In our case when a ward is active for an institution. All ward for all institutions are visible when already have selected one institution. This is not handy in filtering. Improvement would be to only show the ward for that specific institution.

Pros

Asset Panda is extremely flexible, highly configurable, and easy to use. It is a great product for managing a wide assortment of products from fixed assets to consumables. One of Asset Panda's best features is its ability to record, manage, and maintain required specific information on specialty items. For example, annual testing information for fire hoses and maintenance, inspection, use, and repair information for different pieces of personal protective equipment such as turnouts, masks, SCBAs, etc.

Cons

Asset Panda should strengthen the ease managing consumable on its application. As a agency that is in operation 24 hours a day, seven days a week, we go through major quantities of consumables and handling those transactions (more like a point of sale (POS) system) would be a plus.

We needed a quick setup and Asset Panda was great. We migrated from Filemaker Pro, and Asset Panda does a good job for us, although I miss the speediness of an on-premise FMPro server.

Pros

Mac Friendliness, cloud service, easy implementation for experienced DBAs.

Cons

Pricing is high, web-lag is frustrating when using the service. Some config gui functions are not intuitive. Ability to customize GUI is very limited.

Overall, I have found AP to be a great experience. Using AP to track 1000+ assets along with staff usage has helped improve communication across many levels of our department.

Pros

Clear visibility with inventory status. Barcode, scan adoption. Excellent Mobile UI.

Cons

We have what feels like a hundred folders and subfolders. To new users, the central hub could be intimidating making for a challenging learning curve. For users of multiple folders, a more cleaner and intuitive central location could be of great value.

I was not happy with Asset Panda for about 15 minutes when I learned there was an issue with our account. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] reached out to me via email and phone. After speaking with her I was in a much better place. She quickly addressed my concerns and taught me more about the system. She is also actively working on some details with our accounts. She follow up and skills on the phone will keep me as a customer.

I do not like the flexibility with multiple accounts, lack of equipment provided (barcode maker), charging for support/training, and complexity of the software.

Starting a free trial was very easy and I was able to build out most of the site by myself. Once we rolled into the full version, the implementation specialist I worked with was very helpful in getting the rest of the build finished. We are in the midst of rolling this out to our team and I am excited to see how it goes.

Pros

This software is so configurable that it can tackle almost anything you would need it to do. It can be a little overwhelming trying to determine the best way to set it up because there are so many options, but the implementation specialists have seen it all before and know the best way to do it!

Cons

Group lists do not work super well when integrated with Actions. If you want to perpetually keep track of attributes of an item which are being updated constantly, there is not a good way to view the current attributes within an action and update them. Additionally, setting things up with barcodes after they are already loaded into the system is kind of a pain.

I think it could look a little better; be a little prettier. While the layout is logical, there are other systems have a nice look while still having a nice look and feel. (knit picking) Like I said, I've found a few bugs and a few limitations. I wish I could change the color of the fields in the app (I understand that's in the works.) And I wish that the panda could also generate actual work orders when routine maintenance needs to be preformed, not just a reminder to create a ticket. I can do that with my outlook calendar. As far as functionality, I have a hard time with notifications. I feel like what each action does could use a little more explanation. Perhaps some alt text when you roll over an action or an info button? (see the star ratings of this survey)

Pros

I love the customization and that I can make the changes myself. it allows me to fine tune the different tools to meet my specific needs. I also love the app portion. Surprisingly, it was difficult for me to find a ticket/asset management tool that had a good app. I love the fact that I can forward an email to asset panda that I receive from a customer and it generates a ticket. Helps streamline the process and makes it so I don't forget to make one. It also makes it so the people who generally would create tickets, like my printer and mail guy, create tickets so they can keep track of how much time they're spending on tasks. I love that I can add any and all documents concerning assets to the asset. I even included a training video on how to use a task chair to the task chair asset. Brilliant. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the panda evolves in the future.

### "Great Product"

We have always struggled with knowing our inventory. With Asset Panda we can enter in all of our new and old machines we have on campus. We can sort by person and know what each user on campus has assigned to them all in one place.

Pros

I have learned over the time of using Asset Panda how to do things better and more convenient to meet our needs. It is nice so much is so easy to customize.

Cons

The only thing I don't like about it is we didn't start using it sooner.

Pros

Basically the same as my description. Its very user friendly and flexible. I also like the mobile access and the support.

Cons

I'm not a fan of the per asset cost. It can add up pretty quick if your a decent size business or school. Other software providers usually charger per user and its unlimited assets. There's no reason why adding a additional line item on a database should cost extra dollars. The pricing makes it more geared to smaller shops.

Pros

Unlimited users was crucial for our non-profit organization. The implementation process was totally painless and actually kind of fun. I cannot say enough about our developer,. She patiently listened to all our needs, helped us come up with creative solutions and far exceeded my expectations. As I began to dive-in and make the tool my own the more excited I became about the ease of use and endless solutions Asset Panda has to offer, far beyond merely tracking our inventory counts. This is definitely a game changer!

Cons

We will need to export reports to a spreadsheet to perform cost calculations. Would be great if this could be done within Asset Panda.

Pros

Asset Panda helps us track our valuable equipment. Not only do we work in Construction, but we are also an Emergency Response company and when we are in several emergencies, it is easy to lose track of what equipment is where! Asset Panda helps us keep track of everything during a very busy time!

I wish there was a report to see what has been signed out and never signed back it.

Pros

I like that the software is robust and able to track, create barcodes, and maintain a robust amount of history as it relates to our devices.

Cons

As a new user, I find it difficult at times to navigate the site. I could benefit from helpdesk services or a tutorial with access to a live person.
