My experience with Flocknote, ParishSoft and Parish Data Systems were much more accommodating to our needs. **Pros:** The customer services reps (three so far) are all great at telling us what we want to hear and making promises. **Cons:** 1\. Our data was compromised in the merge. 2. There is no phone number at all for problems. We have to contact our rep or a help desk via a ticket or email. 3. They didn’t deliver the basic functions we need. We just find out they flat out can’t do it and tell us it might be a feature request for them to add later. A. Their mail merge and data reports won’t download the giving data I need. B. The pledge balance is inaccurate unless you run a separate report to include all giving for the family. C. It doesn’t calculate all the fee donations as a donation (ex it just says the offering is $10.22 and no donation). An extra report needs to be done to even see the incorrect fee totals. They mislead donors by thinking they are paying the fee for the church but in reality they are just giving more which Pushpay takes their percentage off the total and still bills the church the full amount plus the extra. D. Donors find the site very difficult to use. Especially when trying to change information. E. You can input notes in the Giving side but you have to run reports in CHMS which do not include any notes you input. F. You can’t enter a negative amount to record a returned check that was manually entered in a batch. G. You can’t flag a minor’s cell phone to copy a parent on all messages for transparency. **Switched From:** [ParishSOFT](https://www.capterra.com/p/12500/ParishSOFT-Church-Management/) **Reasons for Switching to Pushpay:** Our software was outdated. Rather than upgrading to the newest version, we went with an entirely different product that was supposed to combine our Chruch Management (ParishSoft), our online giving (Faith Direct) and our communication platform (Flocknote). We have not had many issues with the giving platform. The app create platform is a little difficult, but we don't use it for that. **Pros:** Pushpay makes it easy for our congregation to donate. The ability to use a qr code or text to give really helps. Almost 50% of giving to our church comes through pushpay. **Cons:** The app creating that they have is not simple. Years ago, it was very simple.
