### "Good for Medium Sized Organziations"

Great experience with Mitel. Would recommend it for similar-sized organizations.

Pros

The Mitel Connection software makes the phone experience excellent. It is easy to look up numbers in the directory and set favorites.

Cons

Setting up the Events features with Exchange has presented some challenges. Otherwise, this product has been very good for us.

### "Why We Moved Away from Mitel"

My overall experience with Mitel is not good. I had many many other software to complete my system needs. Mitel only supported the phone calls. I had another server for remote phones, another for voice mail, another for FAX, another for recorded lines... need I go on? Hence, why I moved to a cloud solution with every need met.

Pros

Mitel is very stable for your basic VoIP needs. They can provide the equipment or it can be integrated into your virtual environment.

Cons

It is very expensive to maintain. A third party vendor licensed with Mitel must be used to support it. Just because I purchased a user license, I am not able to contact their support. The Mitel support will only talk to a licensed vendor. This is one of the reasons for increased support expenses.

Reason for choosing LANtelligence

I chose the alternative over Mitel. But during the 15 years of using Mitel, there was no other able to fully replace it at that time.

### "Mitel Not your best phone software"

i used mitel software while working for a call center sightline payments. aside from the constant outages sometimes for more than 2 hours and sometimes first thing in the morning when customers are calling, there was no phones working. this was a constant battle over the course of 1 year while i was there working.

Pros

it was easy to use very simple platform. there was nothing difficult that even an beginner at taking phone calls couldnt figure out. you push the phone icon for accepting a call and the red phone icon for hanging up. there was a drop down menu for taking breaks and lunch and meetings .

Cons

constant outages and bad support. My boss was constantly sometimes every day talking to support for sometimes more thsn an hour trying to figure out wehat the issue was. sometimes days before he could find a solution to get aour phones up and running. sometimes there was no resolutution . we had to hope for the best on getting phone calls. im not exaggerating.

### "Mitel Connect"

Great - recommend to any business with 10 or more people.

Pros

I like that I can connect to my co-workers immediately - not only by instant messaging but also phone. I also like that I can forward my work phone to my cell phone.

Cons

I really don't have any complaints. I wish it wouldn't allow someone to send you a message when you are on do not disturb because the notifications do not pop up when you go back to available.

### "Daily Shoretel/Mitel User for almost 2 years"

Pros

Shoretel/Mitel integrated with our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and allowed up to use click to dial functionality. I make over 6,500 phone calls annually so this is important from a time management perspective.

Cons

We experienced some technical glitches with both outbound and inbound calling. Again we make heavy call volume so our usage would definitely find the limits of the system. To be fair these glitches were not anything that would shut us down for hours or days but still an issue.

### "Review of Mitel/Shoretel"

The software was good, and served our need for 3 years. At the time, they did not seem interested in evolving the software to change with the times. For example, they had no plan add additional tools such as SMS. Their reporting was also behind the times.

Pros

The best part of the software was their integration with our CRM. We were able to use the click-dial functionality from our CRM. It was also helpful that their support was based in the US.

Cons

I struggled working with the initial set up team. At the time, they used 3rd party sales reps and they didn't communicate the customer need with the set up teams.

Overall mitel has been a good application and I enjoy the ease of use.

Pros

I enjoy that this software is interactive in the sense that it connects with my hardwired phone. I click the number I wish to call and it calls them from my phone.

Cons

Sometimes the service tends to cut out and will not always accept incoming voicemails. This tends to be very frustrating.

I am very pleased with our transition to Mitel and am happy we choose this over our last product.

Pros

We recently switched over to Mitel from another product. The transition was seamless and most users were able to get up and running with little to no issues. The user interface is intuitive and easy to use, and call quality has been great, even with many more people working remotely

Cons

My only con is not really with this software in particular, but over all with software like this. I feel like this functionality should be baked into products like microsoft outlook so that we have one less piece of software to use and support. However, for what it does, Mitel works great!

Ultimately, I am pleased with MiCollab due to the simplicity to locate contacts within the software directory. Lastly, I really like that MiCollab pairs with Plantronics for easy to use hands free collaboration.

Pros

The software gives teams the ability to chat and to network using Ad-hoc Meetings.

Cons

Ad-hoc Meeting function could use more features.

Pros

We switched from another service and overall Mitel has been a good change. It has been a good value for the money.

Cons

I have not really had any issues with it. Overall the change was pretty easy for our company. We utilize more of the options they offer.

Pros

I've only been using it for a month or so, but the transition has been great. I can review call history on my computer, listen to voicemails, review text translations, and forward desk calls to my cell phone.

Cons

Nothing I can think of at this time. I may come up with something as I use the product longer.

Pros

I like being able to search for a colleague quickly dial their extension. I also love the transfer feature of being able to just drag the call over someone's name to quickly and easily transfer calls to them.

Cons

I have no complaints about this software at this time
