And we cut down on so much back and forth requests. Pros I love that it gives you the option to make polls and take an assessment of voting options. I love the scheduling poll it's so needed instead of constant back and forth trying to see what everyone's time is like. Cons Probably just the ads. We first tried asking members of the group what day was convenient, and it was quickly realised that this method would not work. One of the members told me about Doodle and I tried it. Amazing! Within two days we had our meetings scheduled! Pros I am able to select so many options for dates and times to ensure that everyone has something they can choose. It saves a lot of time and effort because you do not have to go through multiple emails (back and forth) when trying to schedule a meeting for a large group. Its a great tool and one I will keep going back to regardless as "it just works". I also really like the tabular format to view best fitting dates, and also who has responded. It's a well thought out piece of software. Pros Doodle is a great and easy way to capture availabilities of contacts quickly for an event. It syncs nicely with your chosen calender and shows your own availability prior to sending out. Cons As with all good things, they eventually have some pain points. The UI has had some changes which doesnt dlow as well as previous versions, plus the free vs premium capability gap has grown (free feature reduction rather than premium feature introduction). Pros Doodle is a great platform where I setup my meetings with the students. I really like and appreciate the simple but robust platform it provides to schedule and pole meetings. The feature to sync my work calendar (Outlook) is also really helpful. Cons The advertisement to the side of doodle poll or calendar is not very professional. I understand and can expect these advert for the free version. One more thing, the sync feature of doodle with my Outlook calendar is slighliy weird. I also use doodle to setup a meeting call with my tutees via sharing my calendar. The tutees can find the suitable slot and book a time with me for a tutoring meeting. This is great as far. However if I make any changes to my work calendar, or some students cancel their meeting request, this does not turely synchronise with the doodle calendar. So I believe the interfacing between doodle and outlook calendar needs to be improved. Of course there are simpler and useful software products as When2meet that don't require an app or an account, however, they don't have as many features as doodle has. With doodle, you can arrange meetings with a large group of people and after the app decided which one is the best slot to meet, if it is sync with Google calendar, the event will appear immediately there, which is really useful to organize yourself.Doodle also provides an option to create polls to decide multiple things. It allows making anonymous polls, to show partial results, to only allow one vote and to send the final results. These, and many more features, let the users create reliable and simple polls in a group, without having to use a more complex software as google forms. Cons It does not have many cons, the only thing I could find is that when you want to schedule an informal thing with few people, having to have the app and a Google account is maybe inconvenient for some people. In those situations a more basic tool could be more useful, however, I don't know if that's a drawback at all. Pros I like that Doodle allows for you to coordinate the date and time of a meeting for multiple people. As I manage various teams, it is a very valuable tool. Using Doodle maximizes efficiency when you need to find a common meeting time for large groups. When inviting individuals to participate in the Doodle poll, you can send messages from the program after adding contact information. You can also send reminders in the same way. The program will tell you which dates work best for participants and then, once you select the date that works best for everyone, you can "book it" which means the date will be solidified and participants will be notified of the finalized date and time. Cons I like that Zoom can be integrated, but when I have used it in the past, sometimes this feature glitches. I wish this could be addressed. I also wish there was a way for participants to add why they may not be available for a certain date (for example: already have another meeting vs. my day is just busier and I could try to make it fit). There is a "if need be" option that individuals can choose for this type of situation, but there could be more explanation of it for new participants. Branded Doodle is the company's online scheduling business solution, while Premium Doodle is its personalized service for individuals. Pros People, on the other hand, are a different story. Doodle lets you choose times that will work for you, and then everyone else votes on the times that will work for them. This is super simple to use, totally effective. I adore being able to share a link and schedule a big number of people. Even our less tech-savvy personnel can use the program because to its simplicity. Cons I detest it when an event on my calendar is missed. The only drawback, in my opinion, is the sporadic blocking of a Doodle poll by a recipient's email. It saves lots of time and energy, when trying to figure out meeting times. Pros Doodle is a great platform for companies that have meetings with outside shareholders. Scheduling meetings to fit into everyone’s schedule is hard, and doodle eliminates the need for the back and forth conversation to pick a date and time that works for most.
