It's very easy to use and send it to others to find a good meeting/event time. Pros It's very user friendly. I was able to quickly teach others on past teams how to use it. Cons I don't really have any suggestions. I enjoyed it as it was and thought the price made sense. It makes scheduling meetings so much more efficient. And we cut down on so much back and forth requests. Pros I love that it gives you the option to make polls and take an assessment of voting options. I love the scheduling poll it's so needed instead of constant back and forth trying to see what everyone's time is like. Cons Probably just the ads. But I use the free service so I'm not sure what to expect. And sometimes integrating it is a little clunky. Pros What I liked most about doodle was that is simple to use to create a group poll, but many other features are paid. Cons Many features are paid and there are many ads on the screen, which can make it a little bit difficult to create and read invitations. Switched from [Microsoft Outlook](https://www.capterra.com/p/227138/Microsoft-Outlook/) It was difficult to try to receive an email response from each participant, then tally up the popular dates. Coordinator E-Learning Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Excellent tool for scheduling meetings for large groups" December 10, 2025 5.0 I was first introduced to Doodle a few years ago when I needed to schedule an introductory meeting and then the subsequent monthly meeting for a group of stakeholders who were working on a project. We first tried asking members of the group what day was convenient, and it was quickly realised that this method would not work. One of the members told me about Doodle and I tried it. Amazing! Within two days we had our meetings scheduled! Pros I am able to select so many options for dates and times to ensure that everyone has something they can choose. It saves a lot of time and effort because you do not have to go through multiple emails (back and forth) when trying to schedule a meeting for a large group. Cons I have not identified any cons to Doodle yet. The way I use it for work, it provides me with exactly what I need. Review Source Cathy L. Pros When we used Doodle in corporate environments, we found it so easy to use for group polls and eliminated a lot of to-and-froing. It was free for this very useful feature. Cons None. Its a great tool and one I will keep going back to regardless as "it just works". I also really like the tabular format to view best fitting dates, and also who has responded. It's a well thought out piece of software. Pros Doodle is a great and easy way to capture availabilities of contacts quickly for an event. It syncs nicely with your chosen calender and shows your own availability prior to sending out. Cons As with all good things, they eventually have some pain points. The UI has had some changes which doesnt dlow as well as previous versions, plus the free vs premium capability gap has grown (free feature reduction rather than premium feature introduction). Pros Doodle is a great platform where I setup my meetings with the students. I really like and appreciate the simple but robust platform it provides to schedule and pole meetings. The feature to sync my work calendar (Outlook) is also really helpful. Cons The advertisement to the side of doodle poll or calendar is not very professional. I understand and can expect these advert for the free version. One more thing, the sync feature of doodle with my Outlook calendar is slighliy weird. I also use doodle to setup a meeting call with my tutees via sharing my calendar. The tutees can find the suitable slot and book a time with me for a tutoring meeting. This is great as far. However if I make any changes to my work calendar, or some students cancel their meeting request, this does not turely synchronise with the doodle calendar. So I believe the interfacing between doodle and outlook calendar needs to be improved. Way better, more professional and pre-thought tool to be used in a commercial environment to boost productivity and create a liaison between team members. Pros We have a weekly staff meeting held at our unit where all the staff and interns have to participate. When deciding the time for each week, I have to make sure everybody agrees on the time chosen not to have any absenses from the meetings. Ridiculously, every colleague mentioned a contradictory time that overlappes with another colleague's busy schedule, so that person skipped the meeting with the unit productivity level decreasing each week. Doodle is a great tool to solve this issue and not end up having a bad headache. What I do is I create the link and Doodle automatically sends to each member of the group in a form of a survey. They mark the date and time they are available and Doodle sends you the summary (selected time and date) after each member has voted there. Then it send automatic reminders to each participants to make sure all are attending the meeting, as promised. No one can blame me when they are not present at the meeting, saying the organizer has not notified us properly so we missed it. Doodle does all the work with high responsibility. Cons At first it took time to figure out how it works, seemed a little hard but after trying once or twice, everything become automatic and you just click several times and everything is ready. No complaints at all, great tool, highly recommended. Pros It can be extremely difficult to arrange/schedule meetings, appointments, and events when multiple people are involved. But the brilliant thing about Doodle is that it does the hard work for you! Here's what I love the best: - In a matter of a few moments, you can create a poll of options or available meeting times. I can quickly send a link to teammates, who can quickly and easily access the poll and begin to select times that work. What's more is that they can also see other times that have been selected, so I feel like they are more willing to cooperate (if that makes sense). - This removes text or email chains that go on, and on, and on without end... until we finally come to the conclusion that there's never a good time for everyone to meet up. (After wasting a day.) - It's absolutely free. I can't believe it. I would think they could be making money with user fees off of this fantastic idea/platform, but no - it's free! - It's quite simple and intuitive. There aren't a lot of bells and whistles, but that's great. There doesn't need to be advanced features. - It's easy to use for the first time. It's not overly complex. - You are notified when responses come in, and you ultimately get to control the meeting time. - This is somewhat random, but you can be very specific with meeting points. Want to meet at 12:02? Perfect. Want a meeting to end at 9:07... Doodle will do that, too. - Can link or access your Gmail contacts - fabulous feature! Cons There's really nothing to complain about in my opinion. It's a simple designed platform that accomplishes it's goal. Some potential updates to consider would be adding "most commonly used emails," though, that would be helpful. Another idea is build in some sort of Skype, Hangouts, or FaceTime feature if an individual is unable to attend at the appointed time. It saves lots of time and energy, when trying to figure out meeting times. Pros Doodle is a great platform for companies that have meetings with outside shareholders. Scheduling meetings to fit into everyone’s schedule is hard, and doodle eliminates the need for the back and forth conversation to pick a date and time that works for most. It is easy to set up a poll, input meeting times that are available, and have desired attendees vote. This makes for a faster and more productive way to host meetings. Cons I currently do not have any negatively to say about Doodle. For the uses we use, the platform works very efficiently. I switched over to MS Outlook Pros The initial setup is very quick for a simple multi-user scheduling Cons Terrible interface. Cons At least in my organization, it wasn't possible for me to integrate Doodle into my Exchange setup. That way, I still had to refer to two systems when arrainging meetings.
