You need Doodle" May 22, 2019 4.0 Use this as a regular part of scheduling when large groups of participants are involved. Pros Nothing that I have used makes coordinating a meeting time easier than Doodle. It takes the pain out of multiple e-mails, reply-alls, alternate suggestions, and puts just one simple interface in front of people and lets them sort it out. You just look at it when it's done and set the meeting. All that can be done for free as well. If you do meetings on a regular basis, they have extra addon features you can pay for to help automate keeping everything in order. Cons The UI is a little sloppy looking at times, especially with many dates/times available. You have to click to expand to see all the options. Not horrible, but I think it could be made to look a little better. This does NOT interfere with functionality though. Review Source Christian H. Pros There are probably better products out there, yet I don't know what they are, and since I know how to use Doodle, I stick with it. It's what everyone seems to do, and for the most part, it works. I wish it worked a little better, such as the ability to highlight rather than have to physically click the box for each time slot. Still, it's saved my team lots of time that would have been required to schedule a meeting! Cons Poor display when there are a lot of options, which means seemingly infinite scrolling, and did I mention so much clicking? Reason for choosing Doodle Doodle is free and super fast to set up. Pros very easy to use, also for those who are invited to participate-often that is the biggest issue. we always agreed on one date, there has never been the problem of not finding a date that matches everyone. the possibility to choose from many time-slots is the biggest feature. Cons there is not really anything against the software. you need to be online and have internet access, which can be a problem when on the road in remoter areas of the country. Doodle enables us to create one invite and send it to multiple people. They can then all select the options that work best for them. We can then easily send an invite to everyone and even include a Zoom link. It saves us from having many back and forth emails about what day and time works best for so and so versus the other so and so. It has streamlined the appointment setting process. Pros The system allows you to set up the meeting, add notes, and even tell the person how the meeting will take plan (i.e. in-person, zoom, phone, etc). Those we wish to invite can be sent either an email from Doodle (and the system will remind them to participate!) or we can email them a link directly. Once scheduled we pick what day works for us and the system will email the invite to everyone and it even includes the Zoom info! This is especially handy when having someone else run your calendar. Cons Many time we are looking to book multiple meetings with multiple groups. We have to go and create each Doodle meeting, select the dates and times, and send. When we go to set up the next meeting the system doesn't know what dates and times are already blocked for the other meeting so you have to do it manually. it would be really great if it integrated both ways. Cons A tad bit dumbed down and the UI is not the most attractive. Not a huge con but it could use some work. Pros I used this all the time in graduate school to connect with my cohort and set up times for study groups, meetings, and project collaboration. Great for students looking to coordinate theirs schedules to work on projects in a timely manner. Cons Although it was great for a simple schedule coordination, upon attempting to use it for my business to coordinate group calls, it became cumbersome and overwhelming for the user. For any business, this saves a lot of time and energy to bring everyone on the table on the same date at the same time. Pros I like that the user can put on different dates and times for the collaborators to set a date and time. Also, there is no cap on how many individuals can participate which makes Doodle is much more efficient than the competitors and save time for the user to book a meeting where a large number of participants are involved. Cons Everything is perfect about this software. I did not find any cons. I would recommend everyone to start using this software for their scheduling or appointment booking requirements. Doodle allows us to find common ground between people who live by their calendars, and those who have more flexibility. Pros Doodle provides quick and easy scheduling for people across platforms, organizations, and time-zones. I find it particularly effective for planning 1-off meetings for folks with full schedules. Cons While the pro features of Doodle are excellent, I don't appreciate the way that Doodle has made the free version of the platform hard to access, and the way the paid features become the default. If you've ever had to herd cats - this will take hours from your week if scheduling is a big part of your job. Pros It is by far the most simple way to offer others the ability to book into your own Calendar. The UI is so simple anyone on the receiving end will 'get it' immediately. I've never had any bad feedback for arranging a meeting using the tool. Auto reminders are an obvious boon for this kind of product. Also, keeping your actual calendar hidden from invitee's is great - eliminates "I can see you're free here" Cons Anyone who has locked down corporate environment will be a bit limited unless they can convince their sys admin to enable it. The teams integration is good, as is the calendar integrations - but you need to make sure they are 'allowed' if you want to get full use of it. Pros Doodle allows you to block off a section of time that you and all parties are available and send a link to those you want to meet with, which is very convenient. In my time using Doodle I never once had a glitch where it overlapped interview slots, so I would say it is incredibly accurate and in real time. Cons Keeping it as first come first serve when sending out multiple invitations for interviews keeps things fair but also puts some people at a disadvantage when you have a limited window of time to interview or meet. With just four steps, it is a very simple process to create a poll. Visually, it is very easy to see what times work and don't work for people based on the coloring and the size of the text. I also appreciate that there are integration tools and Doodle makes it very easy to share your poll with your participants. Having the options to reply: yes, no, and if need be is huge. There are times that I would prefer to avoid a certain time, but could make it work if need be. I haven't ever found an easy way to communicate that in the past. Cons I wish you could customize polls to ask for people's top 2 or top 3 choices. The software either allows you to limit it to one or to have no limit. Also, sometimes on mobile, I have trouble navigating the tables and scrolling through the options when I am filling out a poll. Review Source Gabriel A. I mostly use it to get the availability of a large group and to decide on a particular date for an event. The notifications are prompt once someone fills in about their availability. At the end, the most preferred dates will be notified to everyone in the group. I highly recommend this program. Pros I personally like how easy is to schedule the appointment and sync the calendar with a group. This brings everyone in a group together on the table at the same time for an event. Cons I like everything this program has to offer. I recommend it to everyone for scheduling appointments.
