Everyone is in high spirits, which rubs off on you and motivates you to want better for yourself. Everyone has the same mindset to elevate the company as a whole. Cons It gets a bit stressful and when I need to get ahold of customer service, it is quite a struggle. I work in higher education, and this is a common resource used. I often receive doodle polls. Pros I really like that you can easily create a poll and send it to those within your organization or on the outside with little effort. This is a great time saving tool. It is especially useful if you are trying to schedule a good time to meet with others or look at general availability of staff. I find that most people are familiar with Doodle, and if not, they catch on quickly. This makes it a convenient system to use. Cons Polls options are a bit limited with Doodle. It is great if you are trying to determine availability and schedule the best meeting time, but it is a bit limited if you already have time slots available and are looking to fill those slots. I have found other resources for sign ups, because this is just too limited. Review Source John N. The latter is especially when not everyone works and has access to a personal computerized calendar of their own. It allows choice and avoids the need to make calls regarding availability. So much faster to get a snapshot of everyone's availability. Cons The only con is that it can sometimes be cumbersome to edit and existing event or meeting poll. We'll also decide who gets on what teams for events. Trust me, you don't want to mess up lunch, especially on a day when everyone gets their own fancy grilled cheese from the food truck out front. Pros I love being able to get everyone's opinion/choice for something without everyone going off the rails. Giving clear choices and limited room for unwanted input makes getting to an endpoint much faster. Cons Sometimes it's a bit clunky to get the configurations you want, but it just takes some time and tweaking. It's also a bit clunky when clicking through on mobile. I reached out to customer service and they said they'd made the app better, but did rid of the survey. It was so easy to use and very disappointing. So, we paid for something we won't use nearly as much anymore. Pros The ability to do an online survey with photos. It was great until they got rid of it. Cons They removed the survey part. Pros I recognize why Doodle is useful. It allows people to figure out a time when everyone is available, so in that sense, it can be a good product to have. Cons To be honest, every time I have to fill out a Doodle poll, my heart deflates a little. Especially when they are long with a ton of options--sometimes, the Doodle poll does not solve the problem of availability. Though maybe that's more of a problem with the people who are filling it out than with Doodle itself. I used to struggle with getting 8 people together for a time and date that worked for everyone. With Doodle, I can pick my availability, send out the link, and they can go online to pick out what works for them based on my choices. It's very easy to see what dates and times will or won't work for the group. Pros This software solved the problem we had with trying to set up a meeting for several different people that do not work for our company. I can set up dates and times that work for our people and then send out the invite for all the others. They go online, pick the dates and times that work for them. After everyone has done that, I can pick out a date and time that works for everyone. I love it! Cons I don't have any cons for Doodle. I've used it for years and I love it. When navigating tough schedules, this is a go-to option that has never failed our teams. It is easy to use and is a recognizable, and simple format. Cons Initially, I struggled with connectivity issues while using Doodle, where my calendar's would occasionally fail after a long time spent in creation. This could have been due to our internal IT network, but it was frequent, even when I experienced no issues with other sites. The recent update seems to have solved this problem. Once we've selected proposed meeting dates it's as simple as sending out the link to all of our participants and they can pick which options work for them. It's really easy to see who has participated and get an idea at a glance of which time works best for everyone. Cons Doodle is much better than having to call/email everyone and track responses. I often use it to help me schedule meetings or to figure out the preference of a larger group. It's a great system. Pros I really use the Doodle system for 2 main things: scheduling meetings/coordinating times for a large group and using the polls to gain understanding of group preferences. The system is very easy to use and we thought out. Cons I honestly can't think of anything that I'd improve on the system. While I could set up meetings in my calendar, I feel like Doodle is still better for setting up meetings for large groups, and I know my attendees will respond quickly, no matter what calendaring software they use. Pros Doodle is extremely simple to use, with a clear interface that allows anyone to quickly fill in their availability and provide quick feedback on meeting times. This has been my consistent go-to for scheduling online or in-person meetups with groups of 4 or more people, just because I know everyone will be able to use the software with no hassles, and no questions. Cons It's a single-function piece of software. It does its job well, but I know some people will use meeting planning tools available in their existing calendaring software. Both my friends and family are using it and we all find it the most convenient tool to agree upon the time and to get together. Pros I enjoy the simplicity of Doodle and the fact that it is super easy to use. I never heard that anyone had any problem with it figuring their way around. Since I am not using it that often, the free version works for me perfectly. Cons There is nothing to dislike if you are looking for a simple, intuitive tool. Sure, there are not a great many features, but this is why it is so appealing.
