It's a great time saver that saves you from playing email tag with those you wish to organize meetings with. Pros I love that with Doodle I can integrate it with my Apple Calendar and select slots for organizing meeting times and share the link to attendees to select their respective preferred slots, using the Group Poll feature. It's also totally transparent as everyone can see, what slots the others have selected. Cons Need Pro version to integrate with Zoom. Review Source Amy G. August 1, 2019 3.0 It has helped me design simple polls to schedule meetings and collect data from my classes in a manner that’s convenient for them. Pros I love that I can make surveys that do not require respondents to make an account. It saves time and protects their privacy. Doodle is also very compatible with smartphones, you can make and reply to surveys on the go. Cons Doodle polls can be somewhat tedious to set up. There’s many steps and manual entry involved. I can quickly create a Doodle and invite all the relevant parties in less than 3 minutes. Huge time saver and solves an age old problem. Pros Simplicity–quickly and easily send a link to a group of people and get on the same page about availability or preferences for group meetings, activities, vacations, bachelor parties, etc. Saves tons of time and gives everyone clarity. Cons A bit too simple. Would like to customize the forms and gather more types of data at the point of entry. The simplicity cuts both ways. I love the calendar integration and ability to have attendees enter multiple times that work for them. Pros I love how easy it is to set up meetings without needing to coordinate via email with many employees, agencies, and assistants. Cons I wish there were more features with the free version. I'd like for people to be able to propose new times and notify the other attendees that were requested that have or haven't responded yet. Pros Doodle polls are easy to create and share with participants. I like that the design is simpler than other polling platforms and can be formatted as a calendar instead of a list of dates and times. Cons I wish they had a feature to automatically gauge everyone's availability hour by hour for a week. If you're looking to measure when people are generally free every evening, you have to create a "potential meeting" for every hour of every evening. Pros Easy usage is my favorite part of this software. result representations and customization options are good. Cons In long questions it is covered by other content and user have to click show all. It solved issues we were having and put everyone on the same page! Pros I love how you can get people's opinions or their availability through one link! It works on a computer and even mobile devices. This solved an issue we were having at our church with knowing who is available when. Everyone has crazy schedules. Doodle made it so much easier to know how we can accommodate most people! Cons It takes a while to set up and learn. Also, if you have many choices, the way it's laid out requires you to keep scrolling and scrolling. March 4, 2021 5.0 Doodle helped fill a very specific, yet important need in my day-to-day. Finding a mutually available time for 5-10 people (or more!) can be quite the chore. Setting up a Doodle makes it easy for not only the organizer, but also the other users to provide their availability. Pros Doodle is a straight-forward, simple platform for scheduling and availability. Even those with little computer experience can assemble a basic availability poll and send to their team members to find a mutually available time. This can be accessed by a basic link, and is easy to share with users. Gone are the days of sending emails back and forth to find an available time – just send a Doodle and you're set! Cons Some of the power features in Doodle are behind a paywall requiring a monthly membership. With that said, the base (free) features of Doodle are more than enough and have served me well over the years! Pros Doodle makes scheduling large meetings with multiple external stakeholders much easier. The person can select their availability from a list of options allowing me to quickly line up when all parties are available or make adjustments accordingly if someone is not available. It's a quick setup and easy to use. Cons Users who are not tech savvy are sometimes not used to this type of software or have not seen it before because it is not as commonly used. December 14, 2018 5.0 Pros Doodle recently received a new feature that allows users to not just select the hourly times that work in their schedule to meet, but they can also double click a time, which says that they could make it work in their schedule if they had to. I think this is great because before this feature, I would have a really hard time finding a time to hold meetings because my co-workers had very conflicting schedules and we would just create a group message trying to figure it out, which defeated the purpose of filling out a Doodle. I love that feature! I also love Doodle 1:1 where you can link your Google Calendar to a Doodle so you don't double book yourself. Cons The website isn't always the most user friendly, and I often find myself clicking around aimlessly just to open up a new Doodle invite. I also wish Doodle would offer features to college students for free or really really discounted because I was the president of many student organizations and used Doodle all the time and would have appreciated being able to send reminders from Doodle. April 12, 2022 4.0 It was a very positive experience. I quickly managed to perform the task I set out to do, and share it with whoever I needed. Pros The possibility of creating polls to define a viable time for the majority of the participants of the interaction for the execution of a meeting or party is fantastic!!! Cons The product only suffers from the visual pollution of ads in the free version. March 11, 2022 1.0 Pros The poll format recently changed from excellent to horrible? What were they thinking? We thought perhaps the better version was only for paying customers, but actually the paid version is just as bad. instead of showing only the dates and times being considered, everyone has to see every date and every time that are not under consideration. it's just stupid. Cons See above. The recently revised version for polls/surveys to select meeting times is just awful. It used to be great. It makes scheduling meetings with busy people with conflicting schedules so much easier. completely eliminates the back and forth emails. This makes it incredibly simple to gleen information as it's available to anyone, in any time zone and organization. In other words, I can create a Doodle Poll and send it to folks within our organization as well as others outside of it in order to schedule meeting times that work for all. Cons Duplicating/Copying one meeting to another is not user friendly. I've found it easier to create a whole other poll then to try to add/subtract information from a previous identical poll. Everyone I know uses this to plan events especially in the education realm. Pros One of the best things is that I can put as many dates as possible for people to pick dates that work with their schedules. I can also make it anonymous if I want to. You can even print of a spreadsheet that has all the information along with their emails. Great for planning events and getting a view of schedules. Pros Easy to use, best software for group work, polls, projects etc. I used it most days when I was at university and I still use it for tutoring. It helps my students to choose the time they want, add anything or edit while I am having a look at it too. Easier to edit in real time when you are working with a large group that isn't in the same place. Cons Nothing. It is hands down best way to find a time best suited for all meeting participants without setting up a call or a long email conversation. I still use it when I need a meeting for a big party.
