March 11, 2022 1.0 Pros The poll format recently changed from excellent to horrible? What were they thinking? We thought perhaps the better version was only for paying customers, but actually the paid version is just as bad. instead of showing only the dates and times being considered, everyone has to see every date and every time that are not under consideration. it's just stupid. Cons See above. The recently revised version for polls/surveys to select meeting times is just awful. It used to be great. It makes scheduling meetings with busy people with conflicting schedules so much easier. completely eliminates the back and forth emails. This makes it incredibly simple to gleen information as it's available to anyone, in any time zone and organization. In other words, I can create a Doodle Poll and send it to folks within our organization as well as others outside of it in order to schedule meeting times that work for all. Cons Duplicating/Copying one meeting to another is not user friendly. I've found it easier to create a whole other poll then to try to add/subtract information from a previous identical poll. Everyone I know uses this to plan events especially in the education realm. Pros One of the best things is that I can put as many dates as possible for people to pick dates that work with their schedules. I can also make it anonymous if I want to. You can even print of a spreadsheet that has all the information along with their emails. Great for planning events and getting a view of schedules. Pros Easy to use, best software for group work, polls, projects etc. I used it most days when I was at university and I still use it for tutoring. It helps my students to choose the time they want, add anything or edit while I am having a look at it too. Easier to edit in real time when you are working with a large group that isn't in the same place. Cons Nothing. It is hands down best way to find a time best suited for all meeting participants without setting up a call or a long email conversation. I still use it when I need a meeting for a big party. It would be more useful if more people use it ! Pros The free account gives you the all what you need to plan a meeting, nothing important is missing. This is a website + an app. Very easy to use ! It gives me a change to express my preference via polls. I think it is very easy to use as a user and would recommend to any company out there, big or small. Pros Doodle has so many features and benefits that it's hard to list them all. The thing I am most impressed and enamored with is how easy it is to use. With Doodle, all of the schools within my immediate branch are able to set up meetings and company party at times that are convenient to everyone. There's also a poll feature that allow the organizer to people's preference for time and/or locations. I also love that the software offers branding features that makes it possible for my company to make this piece of software its own. All of this and I didn't even get to the security or the cross-platform features. Amazing! Cons I like Doodle a lot and there isn't much I would change about it except tutorials and guides for new administrator. I was only a user, but having seen how it looks from the organizer's perspective, I feel it might appeal intimidating to new admins. I would recommend slightly easier to navigate UI. It streamlines scheduling for people with complex schedules. I like that it integrates with your calendar on its own so it'll add time blocks to your calendar when needed. Cons The instructions on how to use Doodle could be more robust. We had an issue where invited users thought they could only choose ONE time, which is the opposite of what Doodle is supposed to collect. Yes, you can get the job done on the free cite, but there is so much more you can do with the paid version of the software. I'm someone that schedules a lot of meetings with committee members and board members, and this platform is such a great and professional way to see times that work for everyone you are trying to communicate with! Pros I love that with the paid version of Doodle, you can set reminders to all the participants of the meeting, set a schedule or agenda for the meeting, and other things you would normal have to do in your e-mail application. It is a one stop shop! Cons The only thing that would make this service better, would be if all of it was a free software. I can see that Doodle Free Version can get the job done, but you would be missing out on a lot of other great features that the Paid Doodle Software has. Pros It makes finding time for meetings and events a lot easier than asking around. The interface is intuitive and has clean lines. It makes scheduling a lot faster and decreases chance of confusion or double booking. I especially like the survey option for gathering larger amounts of people. July 11, 2018 5.0 Pros Doodle simplifies the process of organizing meetings between my organization and our partners and clients. Since we began using Doodle , there has been less and less need to put a call across to our clients to try to fix a time for meetings. Rather , we simply send them a doodle web link , which contains available time schedules and our clients get to select a time schedule which works best for them. Overall it has saved us from the nightmare of meeting scheduling ,while also saving us vital time that would had been expended deliberating on the best times for meetings. Cons I do not get the best of experiencing for the most times when I have tried accessing Doodle over my smartphone device.Therefore I always ensure I access Doodle via my Laptop. Since our community does not meet regularly or in an office or specific location, scheduling can be problematic. Without polling participants, project leaders tend to schedule when their friends are most available. Doodle takes the subjectivity out of finding a meeting time fair to all, and enables contribution by the maximum number of participants. Pros What I like about Doodle is that there is flexibility in options to add for trying to sync multiple people into one scheduled event. It's free for our institution to use, and we use it almost exclusively to determine team availability. Love it! Cons I don't think there's anything that I dislike about Doodle at the moment.
