March 6, 2019 5.0 Doodle had made it a lot easier to schedule meetings with coworkers & clients. The software works great. However, when you are dealing with people who don't go into Doodle and enter in their information, the software loses it's impact. Pros Doodle enables me to coordinate my meetings with people inside and outside my organization. As I can't see their calendar, Doodle allows users to enter in their own availability. Cons Doodle requires a decent amount of follow-up from my end when people don't respond to e-mails (and put in their availability). I wish Doodle did this automatically, so that I would not need to do the work myself. Review Source PS Patrick S. They've refined the mobile apps recently so those work very well now, too. It's great to merge with your calendar and see when you actually are available to meet. Cons This indicates what a great service Doodle is, but my only criticism is their name. Doodle is such a frivolous and unserious name that it gives me pause using it in a professional setting. It has saved us so much time because we use Doodle instead of sending multiple emails back and forth. It also produces the information in our survey in a much more clear way. Pros Now that we have started virtual learning at our school, I have found Doodle to be incredibly helpful to make things easy for our leadership team. We have to meet with staff every week and we use Doodle to find times that work for every one, it makes it very clear to see what the majority votes are. We also use it for other survey questions. The results are produced in a very clear way and it only takes a minute to complete. Cons I do not have any cons about using this software. Pros It's extremely easy and simple to create a Doodle Poll. The setup and settings are simple and it can be shared easily. I really enjoy this tool. Pros Everyone knows how difficult it is to get everyone on the same page in terms of scheduling. Doodle makes it easy by allowing everyone to input their availability and then makes a recommendation for a date and time.
