Allowing people not only to respond for multiple options, but to also see which dates are proving to be the most popular encourages them to manage their own calendars to fit in. Pros Ease of use and simplicity make this a brilliant tool that anyone can use. The simplicity of setting up events as well as being able to remove them once they have completed. I really enjoy using this tool but I believe it could be better. Pros very easy to add internal and external stakeholders, to add many date & time options. The tool is a true life saver when it comes to finding dates & times that work for everyone Cons The fact that I still struggle to connect my calendar to Doodle is a bit of a pain, it would save me some time if I could do that. Also, the time-zones are not displayed well enough in my opinion and it happened to me several time to have to redo the whole thing as I realised at the end that the time zone was wrong. I work with a lot of people so most of the time doodle saves me time. Pros Especially for the meeting, it makes easier the planning process. Also the UI is really user-friendly and everyone can adapt easily. Doodle is a life-saver when you should find dates and times that suitable for everyone. However, the past few years, Doodle has really gone down hill. Part of this isn't their fault: Calendly and other scheduling tools gained popularity and were more convenient for people to use. Part of this is their fault: - Their redesign was a big step backwards - Their user interface is now worse and harder to use - The free version is virtually pointless With all of that said, if you do pay for Doodle then the product is a decent tool. Is it better than Calendly and other tools? It depends on your use. But, if you are looking to just use the free version, I would steer you in a different direction. Hopefully Doodle will fix their issues and get back to being an extremely useful tool. The thing I like the most is that it provides you with a link that can be easily copied and shared. Moreover, it allows you to propose numerous dates and times and the group can see the ones most preferred without much effort. I highly appreciate that Doodle allows you to sync Google Calendars and compare your availability with the proposed options. Cons I am a bit disappointed that it does not offer a way to add my own fonts and characters and customise my experience, making it more user friendly. Pros You don't need a lot of instruction to share with external guests when you invited them to use doodle. When someone is invited to join your poll and vote for one of the option, email that is sent by doodle is self explanatory, so you do not need to educate your guests on how to use the voting system. Cons Design of the poll could be more creative. Also, if you like to upgrade to be user of one of the featured versions, it could be bit pricey. It's lightweight, fast, easy, straightforward and makes you save a lot of time! Pros You can create any kind of poll (day/time for an event, what to order on the food delivery app for the whole office, what movie go to see at the theatre) and invite people by email or simply sharing a link. People can respond with a simple click, no need to be registered. Options are quite a lot also in the free plan. Cons At first when messing around with it, my calendar was syncing in two different time-zones which was frustrating and confusing for me, and other team members in different states. I recommend highly as a resource for meeting scheduling. It is user-friendly and it has a price that won't break the bank. It has helped save time and improve efficiency. Cons For my various teams' purposes, we did not have any cons. I have never received any negative feedback about the product. January 21, 2022 5.0 I have tried Framadate and was quite disappointed. I went back rapidly to Doodle. It is still the go-to tool for scheduling! Pros Very easy tool to deploy. Almost no instruction required for user to adequately use it. Reminder function is great . I have been using this for over 10 years and it is still an amazing tooL! Cons The recent upgrade were not as user friendly as the older version. Fortunately it is still possible to use the old version. Reason for choosing Doodle I have tried Framadate and was quite disappointed. The admin functions were very weak compered to Doodle. Doodle has made that easy to do. I can provide multiple available times and send the link to my students and they can get in where they fit in. This takes the stress off of reaching and trying to schedule individual sessions with 15-17 students. There is also a mobile app and that have provided some convenience. I've also used the service when others are trying to plan meetings. I like ease of use of trying to find mutual available times for meetings. And it gives the option of allowing people to remain anonymous. Cons The functionality of this product can take some time to get comfortable with. I find that it takes me more time to put together my doodle than I anticipate, however, it's not something that has kept me from using it. Review Source Wojciech S. Group of 4, or maybe 14 people, and you are trying to find the one perfect unicorn-time for all of them to be able to meet at once. It can be really hard! But doodle is just AWESOME at solving this issue. Insert dates, insert times, send invites over. Simple as that! I am using is just as often for professional purposes, scheduling meetings and calls between various people (sometimes cross-organisational), as for private meetings with friends and colleagues. Cons Integrated groups feature would be nice - I'd like to create several groups of emails to easily share them among those groups. It's not really a big issue anyway - I can do that by sharing link to groups via gmail, but nonetheless, it would be nice to have it built in. I struggle with scheduling in general so having Doodle as a tool has been helpful in reducing the number of times I set myself up for schedule conflicts and also helps me to be more present in my daily activities since I'm confident I've planned what I need to do effectively. I used to worry a lot trying to figure out which event/task I should prioritize over another because I have a terrible habit of inadvertently scheduling multiple things at the same or overlapping times... thank you doodle! Cons My least favorite experience with Doodle was when I was first introduced to the software through a link that directed me to a group scheduling poll. Somehow my time zone was off and the times that were listed in the poll, which were options for an upcoming meeting, were all showing 2-3am (not what it was supposed to be) I wasn't sure if it was a typo or an error on my end. It wasn't a huge deal and it was fixed when I logged back in a couple hours later, but it did set me back a little bit.
