Once a participant votes, you'll be notified and can easily send the invite through Doodle. Cons At first when messing around with it, my calendar was syncing in two different time-zones which was frustrating and confusing for me, and other team members in different states. It is extremely simple to use. For scheduling meetings, it has helped save so much time when compared to attempting to do so via back-and-forth emails. Pros Doodle is a fantastic product. I recommend highly as a resource for meeting scheduling. It is user-friendly and it has a price that won't break the bank. It has helped save time and improve efficiency. Cons For my various teams' purposes, we did not have any cons. I have never received any negative feedback about the product. Doodle has all of the features that we need relative to simplicity, efficiency and cost. Reason for choosing Doodle Doodle is extremely user friendly. January 21, 2022 5.0 I have tried Framadate and was quite disappointed. I went back rapidly to Doodle. It is still the go-to tool for scheduling! Pros Very easy tool to deploy. Almost no instruction required for user to adequately use it. Reminder function is great . I have been using this for over 10 years and it is still an amazing tooL! Cons The recent upgrade were not as user friendly as the older version. Fortunately it is still possible to use the old version. Reason for choosing Doodle I have tried Framadate and was quite disappointed. The admin functions were very weak compered to Doodle. Doodle has made that easy to do. I can provide multiple available times and send the link to my students and they can get in where they fit in. This takes the stress off of reaching and trying to schedule individual sessions with 15-17 students. There is also a mobile app and that have provided some convenience. I've also used the service when others are trying to plan meetings. I like ease of use of trying to find mutual available times for meetings. And it gives the option of allowing people to remain anonymous. Cons The functionality of this product can take some time to get comfortable with. I find that it takes me more time to put together my doodle than I anticipate, however, it's not something that has kept me from using it. Review Source Wojciech S. Group of 4, or maybe 14 people, and you are trying to find the one perfect unicorn-time for all of them to be able to meet at once. It can be really hard! But doodle is just AWESOME at solving this issue. Insert dates, insert times, send invites over. Simple as that! I am using is just as often for professional purposes, scheduling meetings and calls between various people (sometimes cross-organisational), as for private meetings with friends and colleagues. Cons Integrated groups feature would be nice - I'd like to create several groups of emails to easily share them among those groups. It's not really a big issue anyway - I can do that by sharing link to groups via gmail, but nonetheless, it would be nice to have it built in. I struggle with scheduling in general so having Doodle as a tool has been helpful in reducing the number of times I set myself up for schedule conflicts and also helps me to be more present in my daily activities since I'm confident I've planned what I need to do effectively. I used to worry a lot trying to figure out which event/task I should prioritize over another because I have a terrible habit of inadvertently scheduling multiple things at the same or overlapping times... thank you doodle! Cons My least favorite experience with Doodle was when I was first introduced to the software through a link that directed me to a group scheduling poll. Somehow my time zone was off and the times that were listed in the poll, which were options for an upcoming meeting, were all showing 2-3am (not what it was supposed to be) I wasn't sure if it was a typo or an error on my end. It wasn't a huge deal and it was fixed when I logged back in a couple hours later, but it did set me back a little bit. " October 13, 2020 4.0 I like using Doodle to get people on the same page to have a meeting where scheduling could otherwise be difficult. I've use it a fair bit in the volunteer space. You need to keep things easy for volunteers so they don't walk away. This is a great tool for that! Just define the options you want to choose from and send a link. Users click the link, visit the site, choose their best options and you get the results in a visual format to help the admin select the timeslot. Easy! Effective! Pros Doodle is easy to administer and also easy for teammates to respond to when we try to align several schedules for a meeting. The graphical interface gives easy at-a-glance access to responses to plan the best time for a meeting. Cons The freeware version is slightly crippled, but I've never seen that as an issue. Not everyone is on our campusAD yet and even with those that are, some choose not to share their calendars so people can see Free/Busy. This makes it easy for me to pull together dates/time and have one location where I can track responses for what works and what doesn't. Pros This software enables me to make it easy for admins and meeting attendees to mark out their availability for meetings or events without having to play that horrible email game. I use the free version so there is some functionality I can't speak to, but the free version is great. Cons Nothing - it's great. The new interface is a little wonky at times - you tab to get to a time, but then have to space again to enter the time if you're using just your keyboard. Review Source RB Rita B. I always think it has everything I need, yet with every update there is some cool new feature. Pros My favorite thing about Doodle is how scheduling is incredibly easy and the visual it provides when viewing the available of a large amount of people is so helpful. February 11, 2024 5.0 Pros Doodle makes scheduling meetings with large groups and 1:1 appointments easy. It was the first group scheduling software I ever used and is still very popular and familiar with most folks. Cons Google calendar has really stepped up its game and enabled booking features that make it easy to set up group meetings and bookings. So for those who already use Google suite, it negates the need for using yet another 3rd party app like Doodle. Also while Doodle is great, sometimes it's better to use when2meet, which allows you to enter your availability by highlighting a calendar, thus negating the need to select specific blocks of times and casting a wider net of availability. Lastly, Doodle changed some of its features (eg limited the number of people who can sign up for a slot) or moved them to a paid plan that really restricted the range of its functions. Pros It's a unique program to get input from stakeholders for meeting preferences. It's much more streamlined than email at finding a common preferred appointment time for a large group. I love the other features (particularly polling) but I particularly appreciate that while it grows in functionality, those functions don't yet feel like bloat. It's also pretty telling that colleagues will often immediately start using it after they become aware of it. Strangely undermarketed perhaps? Pros The best part about Doodle is that it is one of those products that is incredibly simple as a concept, yet somehow they continue to refine the idea and add features that I didn't realise I needed until they're available. Just the ability to add "yes but I'd prefer not to" availability responses is fantastic. From the organising side of things I love that you get this simple visual representation of availability and of course that you are given the optimal times for the group. Cons There's not a lot that is bad about doodle but the UI is a bit of an eyesore and in the free version the advertisement placement can be deceiving, to the point where responders may miss options in the poll. The ability to customize times and the intuition built into Doodle-if I schedule a request for three hours then three hours translates to every subsequent date I select, makes this a great tool. Each invitee can see the response of others which can lend to being more flexible in your choices, and enhances getting a group to consensus on a date and time to meet. You can be proficient at using Doodle in a matter or minutes, both as a user and as an administrator. I love this product so much that I use it in business and also in setting up family events. There are three plans available, and if you are a casual user the free version should serve you well. Cons Plans are priced well, and the ability to remove ads and enhance communication with the premier version is very nice. A con of the free version is the weird ads you see running in the back ground as you are using the tool. However, not bothersome enough to change my favorable opinion of this great scheduling tool. " June 17, 2022 4.0 Overall, for its use as a scheduling and appointment creating platform, Doodle has served us well and met our needs. Pros Doodle, in my opinion, remains one of the easiest scheduling and appointment manager platforms out there. Free option still provides basic instruments to schedule meetings and appointments with multiple parties. Very short learning curve makes it easy to integrate, even if one is unfamiliar with it. Simple interface. Cons It would certainly be nice to have more options in the free version, but this isn't a huge complaint.
