Pros \-Easy and straightforward login process. -Comprehensive and practical functionality. -Well-designed certification and invoicing interface. -Useful filtering capabilities and a good balance of reporting views and data breakdowns. -The Billing & Payments section is especially valuable and supports our daily processes effectively. If I need to split invoice between two project, I need to divide sums manualy and type in. Maybe there is option to make it more easy. Bauwise largely delivers on that promise. Pricing is reasonable — not cheap, but justifiable given the scope. The initial setup and client access configuration required effort, but once embedded into daily operations, the platform runs smoothly. A solid choice for mid-sized contractors looking to centralize project and cost management. Pros Bauwise has consolidated a wide range of construction-related processes that we previously managed through multiple Excel files into a single platform. This alone is a significant operational gain — estimate creation, project management, subcontractor communication, and billing are all accessible in one place. The client and subcontractor access portal, while initially difficult to onboard, is now well adopted across our supply chain and adds real value to daily coordination. Cons Customer support is generally fast and responsive, but occasionally a more personal approach — a phone call or proactive follow-up — would be appreciated, especially for complex issues. It helps us manage project finances more systematically and gives project managers and management a clearer real-time overview of project performance. Considering the time saved, better cost control and improved project overview, Bauwise offers strong value for money for our company. The accounting software integration, responsive support and continuous product development make Bauwise a practical tool for a general contractor. It has improved our financial control, project visibility, procurement management and reporting. Pros Bauwise gives us a clear overview of project budgets, costs, contracts, invoices and forecasts. The integration with our accounting software is especially valuable because it reduces duplicate data entry and connects accounting data with project management. We also appreciate Bauwise’s responsive customer support and their willingness to listen to user feedback. They actively improve the product based on real construction company needs. We struggled to implement cash flow planning in Bauwise. Pros The program is very good for handling financial operations such as approving invoices, confirming reports, and similar tasks. Everything is organized logically, and the processes are easy to follow and carry out. Cons At times, it has been inconvenient that when adding additional work or modifications to reports, the entire report had to be deleted in order for the rows to be updated automatically. If the report contained hundreds of rows, this became quite uncomfortable and time-consuming. This issue has now been fixed, but there have still occasionally been problems with automatically linking additional and modification work to reports and contracts. Another challenge is that a single line often has to cover the client’s additional work, the subcontractor’s additional work, and the main contractor’s profit or loss. This can become quite time-consuming, especially when there are many such tasks and different sections involved. You can easily tie invoices to certain contractors and divide costs. You can easily see which invoices have been assigned later on and find them fast. Another thing is monthly financial statements for subcontractors. Everything is filled within Bauwise and costs are easily divided under certain subcontractor. You can also see how far is the project financially and see profits live. Customer support is very active at resolving issues. Cons Cash flow is still under development which I would use to predict multiple projects. Other than that, Bauwise is good. Pros I really appreciate the fully integrated environment that Bauwise provides. It seamlessly connects project cost management, invoice approval workflows, and payment applications (acts of completed works) into one platform. What makes it especially convenient is that both subcontractor payment applications and client-side progress reports (acts) are available and manageable in the same environment. This centralizes all documentation perfectly. Additionally, the digital signing functionality is very efficient and works smoothly, which significantly speeds up the formal approval process. Overall, it stands out because of: Data Integrity: Everything is linked, so there's no need for double data entry. Real-time Overview: It provides a clear, up-to-date picture of the project's financial status. Cons \- Not a full-fledged ERP. - Some forecasting rules convoluded. - Cash flow forecasting is a bit cumbersome (not a huge problem). Compared to other project management systems we used before, Bauwise was much easier for our team to understand and start using in daily work. The system is clear and user-friendly, so it was adopted quite quickly across the company. The support is good, and the Bauwise team continues to improve the system and introduce new tools. It helps not only to track and control the budget, but also to manage changes in the project budget effectively. Subcontractor management and compliance has been especially useful for us. It has eliminated the need for physical signatures, printing invoices, manual Excel checks, and unnecessary error corrections. Today, it would be difficult to imagine our internal budget tracking and control without this system, as it helps a lot with forecasting, monitoring, and managing project finances.
