Pros I like the idea of getting new clients from Booksey. But in reality, it doesn’t work out that way. Because you have to fight for your referrals that your own clientele referred to you. They always try to take a cut of every new Client. I had even if they did not give it to me. After 35 years I’m capable of getting my own clientele, but they said and I quote.. “they don’t recognize referrals.” I did recommend it to a colleague of mine who was a new stylist and she has had a good experience on it because she will gain new Client from it and she doesn’t have to fight them because she wasn’t in my situation where she had been doing her for a very long time getting referrals from clients. So I would say this works for a new stylist, but not somebody who is already pretty much booked, but just looking for a new client here and there. Cons Having to fight for my money. And not getting it more than half of the time. I am currently using a different app and I am not having this problem at all. Then after I readjusted Booksy fixed that issue but now the ones that did have auto pay originally no longer has it on for them. So it screwed somethings up. Pros I don’t need to constantly answer phone calls or do heavy marketing the open network on the client app helps bring people to me. Cons I wish that Booksy would add a notification when someone is in the waiting list. I won’t know unless a client tells me.
