The app has allowed me more room for quality time with clients, as customers can schedule appointments at their own convenience, without interfering with consultation sessions. Pros The app is extremely user-friendly and advances on a monthly basis. The support is always friendly and very responsive. Pros I like the easy navigation for providers. It’s very simple to add necessary information and pricing. The varies options for styles help with versatile stylist that offer many different services. Cons I would advise changing the need to download the app via our referral links. It deters clients away from booking unless providers know the loophole of just googling Booksy and searching the stylist there but the website falsely gives credit ( which is hard to dispute at times) for the at route. I’d advise the confirmation methods that clients receive. I have encouraged a few stylist to try it out. The possibilities are endless. Cons That it doesn’t have a bio page where you can introduce yourself to clients. Also customize time slots for different clients some clients take longer then other so i would like to be able to change the amount of time. I’d definitely recommend it to any of my fellow barbers/beauty industry friend. Pros I like the ease of booking in general. Especial the “book again” option. My clients love it way more than any other site I’ve used. Cons I wish you could see your schedule in a “week view” instead of just daily. I’m not sure why but it gets me a sense of ease. I’ve already acquired more customer reviews from this service in the two months than I had on Google alone from almost two years at a previous establishment. Pros I love that it makes booking easy for me and my clients and that it helps me keep detailed records of each client. I also love that Booksy automatically sends a follow up email to each client and allows them to leave you a review right there and then. Cons The only gripe I have with the app is that I think the checkout tools could use some improvement. I prefer that the tipping option be made available after the initial checkout has been made, rather then beforehand, because it makes things a little awkward and if you’re using this app on a phone then it can be difficult for clients to read and accidentally be overcharged or mistakenly be charged for a tip they may have not known—this mainly applies to cash tippers. Also being able to just share the link or the QR code is incredibly convenient Cons There are a few bugs. When you go to type when using message blasts the cursor jumps backwards and makes it a mess. I also don’t like that we as the business can’t rate the clients like Uber. It would be really nice to know if a client has a tendency to no call no show a lot of barbers. Or if there are any other issues with them as clients. Even if it was as simple as Booksy letting us know “hey this person has 6 no call no shows against them from other people” so we can know to have them prepay or not. Review Source NM Nikki M. Pros I like most about books is that people can search your business on a platform without knowing who you are so there is a 50-50 chance that you get a new client Cons The least thing I like about Booksy is not being able to put on file their credit card and not making the Client in their profile. Have a updated one. There are a lot of clients who have a credit card that no longer work so when you try to charge the cancel fee or no-show it does not go through so you lose out money.
