I use it over a year. Very easy to use. Clients like the reminders. For me that cuts a on no shows. I can access my schedule from any place in the world and make changes. Clients love to be able to make appointments on line. That helps with more bookings, because clients can book at any time of the day and on my days off. I like it.

Pros

Easy to use, well laid out.

Cons

Some times it is lagging. Takes time to reboot and reload.

Good after sales support. Product not as advertised. Or should I say they withheld important information.

Pros

Plenty of functions. Easy to use. Good layout.

Cons

Timely was aware that their software was not suitable for our business, something we only discovered after signing up with them. When we brought it to their attention, they informed us that the problem we have with their software is why a lot of salons choose to leave Timely or not subscribe to Timely. If they were honest, they would have told me before I signed up with them. I lost nearly $1,000 making the transfer to Timely. I can not wait to leave Timely for another booking platform. I am losing business until then!

Podocanada is a small orthotics practice. I used to book using Patient Appointment Manager. I was searching to switch to an online software where client can book there appointments. It s been a year now using Timely. I am satisfied.

Pros

Most online booking software share the same functions: booking, reminder,... I think that Timely is the easiest and quickest for client to book there own appointment and to reschedule as well.

Cons

Compared to the software I used before, I cannot in one click see a patient history with notes added on every visit.

I love the Timely software because it is so easy to use. I have very basic computer skills and had no problem setting up and using this system. The support team respond to any queries very quickly and do an awesome job resolving any issues (which are very few)

Pros

How easy the system is and with all of the different reports I can keep track of how my business is progressing

Cons

Not having accounting and book keeping included. There are add ons but for very small 1 person businesses these add ons increase the price which in my case isn't affordable

Pros

I love how EASY it is to customize this program and how easy is it for clients/customers to use the system. The automated reminders are a HUGE help for everyone!

Cons

I don't have anything bad to say about Timely. It's wonderful! Th only thing I wish was, is a way to tally up income without using Quickbooks and/or any other system. I do not need online payment option so it doesn't allow a easy way to figure out income without getting a secondary system involved like Quickbooks.

Pros

The GUI and the online booking are fab, especially how I can control which time slots show up for my clients. Love the gift card functionality also.

Cons

The reports need work... can't filter/sort on screen and downloading to a .csi ends up messy. Would also like to be able to customise the design of the invoice and gift cards.

Pros

As I am a very small 2 person business, I love the freedom from answering the phone; I'm rarely interrupted while cutting clients' hair as most bookings are done via the Timely App; resulting in more quality time with the client in the chair.

Cons

I am still a very new business starting from scratch; I like least the fact that 'anyone' can see whilst looking for an available time, a quiet day with appointments, but I am still just building my client base and that will change.

Easy to implement & manage. You can schedule meetings appointments very quickly. The user will receive notification in less than a minute. The dashboard is great for overviewing data.

Cons

Smartphone apps are not up to the mark but serve the purpose.

i get a great way to manage my sales, schedules, and employee contribution.

Pros

I like how i can set up open to close times. It helps me set time parameters to see how much free time i have.

Cons

I have issues with the App. I use an iphone and its very friendly. But the app for timely is just so weird. When viewing your week it just looks offset and ugly. Also id like to chang the color of the Board. I like orange and id like to see my company as that color.

I've been using Timely for just over year I find it very easy to use and my clients love being able to schedule themselves online

Cons

The one thing I would change is the outgoing confirmation emails, I wish they or more customizable templates. Also I wish the confirmation text would come from a five digit number like most other automated systems sometimes it confuses my clients when they see a 10 digit number with an area code that is different every time and they try to contact me through this number

Easy to use and ideal for bookings I find that all my staff can manage the app easily, and it's pretty simple to see who's doing no what and when

Cons

More staff memebers more costly also no option to transfer all staff members clients through another is member leaves this has to be changed individually which is timely

Timely has changed my life. I had a girl doing reception, returning messages and confirmations texts. Timely took this role over almost 100%. The fact that people can buy gift vouchers online has given me more free time that I'm not waiting for people to turn up to purchase in person!!! Love love love

Pros

Online booking system and the online gift vouchers. The automatic confirmation texts have saved me so much time!!!!

Cons

Don't have an outgoing spending function that isn't a 3rd parry and that I can't do discounts on value gift vouchers.

Pros

Easy to setup and use. My clients love how easy it is to book online with Timely. I also like all the reports and the colourful layout. It has excellent end user options so I can customise almost any part of my system.

Easy to use anywhere from any device. Linked through fb and website. Clients love using it and changing appointments no longer require me. Reports help me to keep tracka nd can upload straight to my bookkeeper or allow her access without rest of details. Love the connections and updates to mailchimp for my emails also. Has made life super easy.

I use 2 rooms at a time for 1 staff member and I seem unable to set this up without extra cost. Also wanting to use donation of service and create voucher without cost/payment.

I've been using the Timely app for over a year now. My client loves the text and email reminders. They also love how easy it is for them to book online. It is so simple for the salon to use as well. My girls love it. Can't say enough good things about Timely.

Love Timely and I am so glad I decided to get an online booking system (prior to this I used a diary and spent many hours getting appointments booked via txt and phone conversations). Seamless now and my clients love the fact that they can go and book themselves in, easy peasy!

Still don't know how to use all features ...yet!

I'm a very busy stylist/mother. After I had my children I had to cut a few budgets, and my salon software was one of them. I decided to try out Timely after leaving SimplyBook.me. Timely has a lot of great features, but not everything was available that I was able to do with the other program. After I came across the issue that I am unable to book my services based on my time, I decided to switch once again. As you can imagine, it was a hassle, but it got done.

Pros

The automated reminders are awesome! Although I did have a few clients say they never got their reminders, and when we checked they went to their junk/spam folders. Reporting is a great feature with Timely as well

Cons

I was not able to set my own time for services. I'm not sure why that feature was not available, but being a stylist that is a MUST HAVE to be effective with your work. Also, there were no other language options except English.

Personally, I needed software that simplified booking my appointments, invoicing, and bookkeeping. I was having to manually enter invoices twice: once into my invoicing system (Freshbooks) and another into my accounting system (Xero). It was an unnecessary time waste. For the same price as Freshbooks, I now have a system that does appt tracking, invoicing, and those invoices automatically are entered into my accounting system. I'm also saving $10 a month since I could discontinue my prior appt service. I like that Timely can send text msg reminders. I no longer have no shows. They will at least reschedule. I checked out MindBody before signing up for Timely. It seemed cumbersome and dated, especially for the price. I have told lots of local vendors, from home inspectors to fitness studios, to spas & salons, to try Timely. Minus credit card and bank processing, it just does everything MB does, but at a fraction of the price. (And it's easier to use.) Everyone who uses Timely loves and raves about it every time I see them. Timely has been great whenever I have a question, and the team is constantly cranking out new features and improvements. I've researched all the appointment tools out there and I'm pretty sure you won't find a better option out there.

Pros

I love how clients can book their own appointments online, the automatic email appointment reminders and the client data base.

Cons

I only wish the app for the iPhone was as good as the app for the iPad. I do have to sit down on my computer at the end of the day and complete certain tasks that I can't do through my iPhone. Also I wish there was an option for a client to be added to a waiting list if their desired appointment time is not available.

An instant snapshot of my business. Ability to plan for the future. An up to date database. Ability to make changes and respond to my clients needs.

Pros

I love that I can see my appointment schedule anywhere in the world, how easy it is to communicate with my clients, make changes quickly. I also love all the reports timely generates.

Cons

I wish when booking it would remember my clients last services. Ask me if I want to rebook the same service. Most of my clients have repeat services.
