We have been using text in church for over two years now and are very happy with their service and responsiveness.

Pros

Text in church has been a great solution at a reasonable price for us when we were looking for a new phone system. We are able to provide phone access to multiple staff members and volunteers through their system, and their customer service team is always very responsive when we have issues. They provide us with multiple voice mail boxes and the ability to communicate with our clients and volunteers via text very easily.

Cons

There was a steep learning curve as our staff and volunteers have learned how to navigate the Text in Church system.

We have been using Text in Church for about 5 years. It has been an integral part of our staying connected with our members and regular attenders as well as a vital part of our outreach and connecting with guest.

Pros

Ease of use and versatility in communicating with existing members as well as connecting with first time guests.

Cons

I cannot think of anything that I do not like. The ability to schedule text to go out at later dates is awesome!

We really love using Text in Church for our church communication needs! It's easy to use and the customer service is amazing!

Pros

It's a great platform to communicate to the masses. I also love the different groups of people that we can create in order to message to specific groups.

Cons

The one aspect of the platform is some difficulty I have had with adding on bundles when needed. But they do offer a wide range of packages so you can discover which works best for you. The customer service is also outstanding and they have been very present to walk me through any difficulties!

This is an excellent tool for churches for many reasons. 1. You can use it to communciate with people wanting to know more about Jesus in a “Text Yes” Campagin. 2. It’s a great want to communicate things to your congregation. If there is emergency or unexpected close (we had snow in North Carolina) 3. Communicate with your volunteers with reminders.

Pros

The flexibility for several Ministries to use this software. We have several teams…..Groups, General Congregation, Guest Services & Events. This way, we can all manage our messages more effectively and efficiently. We started using in on Sundays for people to text YES when we ask if they’d like to labor more about Jesus. This give us at least a starting point with new believers and people that are interested. For my volunteer team on Events, I use text in church to tell them there is an important email that they need to look for.WIth all the emails these days, many just miss important emails. Telling folks that an important email just went out about volunteering ad one of our 3 campuses is an effective what to get great sign ups.

Cons

The only drawback, is people thinking it’s someone’s personal phone number and they send some personal information.

It’s been wonderful. We love text in church - tools that help us do the heavy lifting so we can focus on the mission and people!

Pros

Great value for the money. It helps us be proactive with new guests by getting info and messages out so quickly. The responsiveness of the platform is stellar.

Cons

We need to build in some personal elements in the middle of the workflow to stay connected. We would love to be able to add our name or church name as the number so people don’t think it’s a spam call or text. We are considering addressing ourselves in the message so at least it’s possible iPhones would recognize and list it as us.

Overall Text in Church has been a great partner and tool for our ministry. It gives us another tool to connect with the church.

Pros

With the ability to text in this day and age is critical and Text in Church makes it simple to get started. They offer a complete set of features, local numbers, keywords, groups and more.

Cons

I wish you could set multiple keywords or phrases to trigger an action instead of just one word. We get a lot of phrases that don't end up triggering a workflow.

Overall, Text in Church is a reliable, mostly user-friendly texting tool for churches. From scheduling texts to managing groups, there are many great options.

Pros

I appreciated the ability to connect with Planning Center People Lists and schedule texts and workflows.

Cons

I didn't prefer the interface, and, until recently, it didn't function as a full integration within Planning Center.
