I could have used it as much as I could. I learned how to send a mass text out. I know that there is a way to set it. I don't have to send one out every other week. Pros I like that it is easy to use. The customer support is very helpful. If you get stuck. I reached out once; the person walked me through the process over the phone and sent a video in the chat. Cons hard to link to or edit QR codes once they have been created. Example: We have a QR code on our Connect card that should send you a link to a digital Connect card, but the QR code was made a few years ago. We have not been able to edit it. We used them at my previous church and when we launched three years ago we started with them here. The organization has done a great job to seamlessly connect with other platforms like planning center. Pros Our church is three years old and so trying to stay in contact with people and building community has been critical. We send a weekly text message to the church to check-in and ask how we can pray for them. Our other ministries from Abortion recovery to students, groups, or family ministry use it to connect with different individuals and because of the price we have purchased 3 different phone numbers and we don't have to worry about private information getting into the wrong hands. At one point we went over our messages and their team worked with us to bless our church and blessed us with a few more messages for free. Cons It not about Text in Church but with people. We are so skeptical of different things and I personally don't like giving out all of my information. So getting guest to fill out forms, or our food pantry is almost impossible. Enjoyed the service for what it is. Has capabilities that I haven't utilized to the max as of yet. Pros It is great for connecting with the younger generation in a meaningful way without spamming people. Many people want to be updated and included but not lumped into a giant group text where they become spammed by responses. This product has helped greatly with this! Cons As of this moment I don't have many cons. I have had some issues with connectivity with third party services while using but that could be based on the other companies side not TIC. We haven't had a need for customer service because everything has run so smoothly, but they have reached out just to check on how things are going and that's always nice to see from a company. Pros Set up was so easy as it integrates with Church Center. It's easy to navigate and send/schedule messages to our entire congregation or small groups easily. Cons Uploading files to send is a little "clunky" as you can only upload one file at a time and then only attach one file at a time to emails. Pros Text in church has been a great solution at a reasonable price for us when we were looking for a new phone system. We are able to provide phone access to multiple staff members and volunteers through their system, and their customer service team is always very responsive when we have issues. They provide us with multiple voice mail boxes and the ability to communicate with our clients and volunteers via text very easily. You can use it to communciate with people wanting to know more about Jesus in a “Text Yes” Campagin. 2. It’s a great want to communicate things to your congregation. If there is emergency or unexpected close (we had snow in North Carolina) 3. Communicate with your volunteers with reminders. Pros The flexibility for several Ministries to use this software. We have several teams…..Groups, General Congregation, Guest Services & Events. This way, we can all manage our messages more effectively and efficiently. We started using in on Sundays for people to text YES when we ask if they’d like to labor more about Jesus. This give us at least a starting point with new believers and people that are interested. For my volunteer team on Events, I use text in church to tell them there is an important email that they need to look for.WIth all the emails these days, many just miss important emails. Telling folks that an important email just went out about volunteering ad one of our 3 campuses is an effective what to get great sign ups.
