Accurate tracking is the sort of thing nobody notices until it's wrong, so it's a fine thing to have named. Same goes for navigation you don't have to stop and think about. The slow start is worth a closer look, though. Launch time can get dragged down by whatever else is loading at the same moment, but restarting the laptop shouldn't be part of anyone's routine. It could be down to the laptop itself or some other app as well. Either way, please drop our support team a note next time it happens and they can dig into what's causing it on your machine. I also commend the excellent customer support. Cons The UI is quite outdated and clunky. I would expect something more polished and modern for what it does. "A great product is simple to use" could be the whole brief, and simple for the people being tracked is the harder half of it. Our support team have earned that commendation too. And what your employees see is the simple end, on your side there's rather more: where the working day actually goes, and where small shifts free up real capacity. On the UI: It does keep moving. A far more customizable Home page landed recently and updates ship close to weekly - point us at the screens that feel clunkiest, and that's what shapes where it goes next. I haven't encountered any major problem using the platform, and it runs smoothly in the background. The time logs has been accurate, and it gives a clear picture of what project is currently in. I can easily navigate within the platform and get a superb customer support on troubleshooting. Pros What I liked most about Insightful software was it's very user friendly. I can easily navigate the platform without any difficulty. It provides easy time tracking and employee monitoring. I am working remotely and I haven't encountered any problems using this platform so far. You can easily see the time you spent or the time logs, and you can also easily pause or stop between breaks. The customer support was also very superb. They're available 24/7 and will give you step-by-step support or guide on how to troubleshoot within the platform. I can also easily download the time attendance to monitor my time logs. Cons So far, I don't have any problems using the Insightful platform. The customer support was great in providing guidance on step-by-step troubleshooting. A tracker you have to think about is a tracker in the way, so "runs smoothly in the background" is close to the best thing ours can be called. And being able to glance at your logs, see which project you're on, and pause cleanly for a break - that's it doing the job without asking anything of you in return. Our support crew getting a mention for the step-by-step troubleshooting will go down well with them, too. Patient guidance is harder to pull off than a fast answer. Cons Sometimes the software is not so efficient working on low-RAM devices, hence causing slow output and poor user experience. Making a time tracker feel obvious to someone opening it for the first time takes more work than it looks like, so it's good to know it landed that way for you. Where the slowdown comes from is no mystery - an agent running continuously makes itself felt on a machine already tight on memory. Still worth sending our support team your setup details, though: there's often something specific behind it that can be sorted, and performance improvements ship with our near-weekly updates.
