It never crashed or had any incompatibility with my Macbook Pros I've been using for four months and not once it crashed, therefore so far it has been very reliable. The interface is intuitive and the learning curve is a walk in the park. It performs as expected, always on the background using very little of the computer's resources. Cons We don't have anything that we disliked about Insightful. I guess the only point of improvement for our current setup would be to have the ability to manage PTO straight from their software. Pros I like Insightful because it has a nice interface and is easy to install. It makes it easy to check reports, and the price is good. It was easy to install on my employees' Mac computers, and it runs all the time in the background. It's easy and quick to look at reports and see what they're doing, including screenshots. Pros Insightful is simple to use and understand. I liked that I was able to log on to the website through the app, and that I was able to see productivity in a easy-to-read format. Cons Unfortunately, I had an issue where my project disappeared while I was working on it. The insightful app stopped recording my time and did not notify me that 1. it had stopped my time on its own, and 2. that the project had been unassigned. When it was time for me to take a break, I realized it had stopped timing long before I had noticed. I'm not exactly sure on how long I had been working prior to the app stopping, and will now have to estimate the time I spent on the project to be compensated appropriately. Did have a recent problem with the software as it was not opening for me on my end, but the developer team and customer service was able to help me through and through that it finally worked and it has been day 2 since then and the problem did not reoccur. Pros It is able to accurately monitor and check for progress and activity and it has no latency the clock and timer. The customer service and the developer team where able to resolve the issue regarding my access with insightful. The application is even secure and provides proper reporting to the business management. Cons The timer functions stops if the software suddenly does not work. I wish that the same functions would apply to insightful website just in case that the software encounters a problem on accessing it.
