Pros

Hiver simplifies my workload and is user-friendly. The integration with my work email is excellent and makes my life easier.

Cons

Sometimes the email integration takes a little while to sync within my email inbox. No other significant issues.

Pros

Its simplicity and every click is completing a process. There are no wasted features. It created an environment where complex process was converted into an easier step by step process. It made me love my job more.

It's not really a dislike because all software has it and it's the bugs. They are very rare and support is excellent.

I use Hiver on a daily basis and have used this tool for over three years now. Connecting Hiver with ClickUp and Slack is very valuable for managing tasks and corresponding partner communication. Hiver also makes it easy to search current and past emails quickly and share specific emails with my team.

Pros

I don't know what our team would do without Hiver. Being able to share, collaborate, and view emails across the team is so valuable to our processes.

Cons

Other than occasional connectivity issues with Hiver, there is nothing I dislike. Hiver support is great at responding and resolving most issues and bugs we come across.

At Scrut, we have been using Hiver for about more than a year now. I would like to say until now the experience until now has been amazing using this tool.

Pros

Out of many features, I liked the shared inbox feature most. It made our life lot easier by communication with the internal stakeholders who are part of the email chain, without adding external stakeholders. This has eased up and streamlined the internal communication for each task/project assigned.

Cons

One feature I believe should be added is overall dashobaord where you can see all the chats together for bird eye view and better insights.

My over all experience with hiver has been amazing. I hate going into my personal email because I feel like it's so noisy and chaotic.

Pros

I love how organized it allows me to be. It's so easy to lose emails and miss an email because your inbox is full. NOT WITH HIVER! My team and I preach by this software.

Cons

Sometimes it doesn't load on my gmail till I refresh a few times. It used to glicth and look funny on my browser but I think they fixed that issue in the last update. I can not go with out it!

I am using Hiver from last 2 years and using this help to decrease the resolutions time of the customer query which definately help to progress. With Hiver everything is scaled and get all the mail statics to ensure the performace of team as well. As this runs within the gmail app no other app need. After getting the Hiver i can easily track all the mails with their closures and who closed it and when so its make this easy to track.

Pros

The email assignment in the team is amazing feature. All the mails assigned to the concern person by itself which make the ease of categorization of emails within the gmail app make this safe and easy to use.

Cons

Till now i do not saw anything not to be like in the hiver its make the daily working easy for the team and management

I work with Hiver at my company to handle flight and hotel reservations. As I mentioned before, I'd like to be able to merge replies that have already been answered in an initial email, unlike Freshdesk, which does allow me to do that. The other thing I really like about Freshdesk is that you can create automated responses, which you can't do in Hiver

Pros

I like that I can sort my issues into folders and get a notification every time I receive a reply or a new case.

Cons

What I don't like about Hiver is that I can't merge cases. Often, secretaries write emails related to the same topic, and when the subject line is changed, it creates a new email. This means I have to close a new case every time, even though the original one has already been answered.

Pros

Easy to collaborate with teammates on emails in conversations. Provides a knowledge base to come back to and filter by tags for easy retrieval.

Cons

The reporting could be better. My team has built our own reporting to better meet our needs but it would likely be sufficient for most people.

Good integration with Google. Ease of use and provides visibility to other team members queue incase of absence.

Pros

Its easy to use and assign team members. Hiver allows to make notes and tag others. Hiver also allows to view team members pending cases without having to create a separate view.

Cons

AI Assignment is still learning due to which there are incorrect assignments. Visibility is only given to one individual who is assigned the email, ideally if we can have more assignees. Should by default have other status views like pending/in progress and closed views

Hiver is great for managing emails between multiple people and I love that Hiver allows you to organize and even Annotate your emails.

Pros

I love that it integrates seamlessly with Gmail, a platform I already use on a daily basis multiple times a day anyway, doesn't require any additional software to work, and it's affordable for small business owners like myself.

Cons

It only works with Gmail so people that use other email services such as Yahoo, etc aren't able to use Hiver and there can be a steep learning curve for less experienced users with some of the more advanced features.

### "Hiver changed our Administrative Support department very positively !"

Our main goal was to reduce the amount of work and work-around when using a Google Collaborative Inbox our Google Group in our Administrative Support team(s). Everything is now done through the Hiver mailboxes and within the single GMail-session.This has proven more than beneficial for everyone (Admin Support as well as all the users requesting support). Everything is more structured, easier to follow-up, re-assign, provide feedback, and set pending or closed.

Pros

The full Gmail integration is marvellous !One single GMail-session to follow-up day-to-day business mails and additionally support requests assigned to the Hiver users. No need to keep multiple windows and mailboxes open.The ease of use goes without saying.The contacts with people from Hiver (at all levels) is incredibly positive. They really listen and try to solve issues as soon as possible. Suggestions for new features are discussed (sometimes in great detail) and implemented if it's feasible and useful.

Cons

A minor issue is the fact that users should be aware that deleting "a single" message from a conversation in a hiver mailbox deletes the whole conversation and removes it from the Hiver mailbox when emptying the bin. This only goes for the delete message on message level.But then again, new Hiver users should be trained not to delete single messages.Luckily, the delete button at conversation level shows another text than the normal button, and provides a warning message when pressed.

### "Excellent Add-On to a Gmail-centric Workflow "

Overall, I very much like Hiver and think it is an excellent service that solved our very real problem when redesigning our company's architecture. I have been pleased not only with the functioning of Hiver, but also with the seemingly kind people behind the scenes who are always improving Hiver and are always available for a questions, if one arises.

Pros

Our company moved over to G Suite in an effort to move to cloud-based operations from our previous terminal server setup (Windows-based ONLY; accessibility was relatively limited if not at the office). When making the switch, we note that Gmail does not have a shared mailbox function – something that our company entirely relies on. So though you're getting the "Suite" of apps that are necessary (and excellent) for operations, a large piece of the puzzle was absent. HIVER offered EXACTLY what we were looking for. Accessibility to shared email addresses/inboxes for a small or large number of employees. Hiver is an excellent and essential tool in our company's toolbox. Furthermore, the customer service I receive is always quick and accurate and a smile seems to be permanently attached to the customer service reps, making it not only easy, but also pleasant, to address issues.

Cons

Our company works entirely online – browser-based and mobile devices. Hiver has an iPhone app that we use and it is constantly improving, but the iPad app is the iPhone app on a bigger screen. Hiver's latest update duplicates the size parameters of the iPhone app, so it is not just enlarged (causing a grainy picture) but rather readable. The downside of the app version is that I can't seem to compose a new email from one of the shared mailboxes. While traveling I may need to send an email from a shared address, but cannot do so with the Hiver app. Further, Hiver sorely leaves behind the template functionality – something that our company depends on – and I can't seem to create signatures for the various addresses. A new iPad app may be a longer project, but if the shared templates and signature functions could be addressed, that would take Hiver to a new level for companies such as ours. We are also looking at investing in Hiver again for a new setup, but I note that the prices have become quite high. While G Suite itself is $12/user, if you require more than one shared inbox (which seems very likely) you're paying almost double @ $22+/user for Hiver, which then starts to crank up the price making it seems like less of a "value". It may require some planning, but Gmail offers alternatives to the shared inbox which may appeal to customers who would find this too expensive.

### "First Year of Hiver"

I have been very pleased with Hiver in our first year. It has really added some great features to Gmail and once we can get everyone on board I imagine we'll gain even more benefit from it. I am very happy with the service and would definitely recommend it. It has great potential when used to the fullest!

Pros

I really liked the fact that emails can be added to a shared mailbox and everyone on the team will be able to see them. This makes it much easier when we change team members, as they can be added and will see all the email history. We no longer have to save emails that are worthy of archiving, as they are automatically filed nicely and accessible by the current team - with attachments in place! I really didn't like when you forwarded an email and you needed to reattach the attachments - We can now just add an email to the shared inbox and the new user can see everything as though they were there all along!I also really like the automations - As much of our email traffic is fairly routine, and we can use this to automatically route emails appropriately - And tag them automatically for metrics/analytics!Additionally, the fact that it integrates into Gmail is great, as we looked at competitors, but I didn't want to have another login with more emails. The fact that everything in one place was the major selling point for me

Cons

The most difficult part of Hiver is our internal training - As getting everyone to use it as desired can be difficult. I can imagine everything working perfectly in my head, but getting the whole team on board has been the issue. I also wish we had more bulk features - Such as bulk tagging, bulk status updates, bulk tag adding, etc. Although your support team has been great!

Reason for choosing Hiver

The fact that Hiver is integrated into Gmail was the deciding factor. We tried Zendesk, but having to log into a new place was far from ideal. Also Hiver's simpler design was also great, it had what we needed but wasn't so complex that new users would need extensive training.

Overall pretty great! It doesn't feel like a foreign add on and I got used to it quickly, our manager only needed to make 5 vids of less than 5 min to explain it to us and I don't think we have comunicated this efficiently in a while. Thanks Hiver!

Pros

We jumped into it without warm up. We had a really sour experience with a bulky software that was overwhelming with their tab system and it was refreshing not to struggle with basic communication functions. The change was painless and really quick. I like we are working with the same features we know from gmail but enhanced.

Cons

The searching is still a bit challenging for me, I have so many iboxes shared with me that I have to be incredibly specific with my search as I haven't found a way to filter in which inbox I'm looking for the information.

We tried several providers of Shared Inboxes and we ended up staying with Hiver for the solely reason that they choose to focus on the core aspects of mail management and not various other features, that businesses at our size usually use other Sales or Project services for. We have used Hiver for more than a year now and it has so far saved us from hundreds of hours by providing us with a great overview and management of all incoming mails/task to be taken care of. The service is not the cheapest on the market, but it's absolutely worth every penny. Hiver has given us the opportunity to work more effective, close deals faster, collaborate better resulting in overall higher turnover since we started using the tool. It integrates smoothly with G Suite and we would highly recommend this tool for any business.

Pros

The mail management part is alfa omega. Its the core of this service, that makes it stand out from competitors. This tool allows you to manage hundreds of mails weekly without losing the overview. It integrates smoothly with G Suite, so are you already comfortable with Gmail, then you cannot miss Hiver!

Cons

Setting rules for the automations could be optimized to handle more criteria and it would be great to be allowed to bulk add email adresses instead of manually adding one by one. It works though and its great.

Gmelius had too many bugs. I wrote the support constantly and many of the features I needed were still on their roadmap. I believe Gmelius is a great mail management tool, but they need more development before they are able to compete with Hiver.

It's a pity what Hiver has turned into - I read they got VC funding. They are probably under a lot of pressure and have resorted to working out, looking at their existing customer base, what to change on their pricing plans to get the maximum return. As email tools are a core part of any business, they know it's tricky to leave so they have you right where they want you. Do yourself a favour and go to an alternative with much better features and who won't try and increase prices massively once you are with them for a while.

Pros

The product is ok, but their release of new features is so slow and not keeping up with the competition. Looking around at alternatives and comparing features, you can see Hiver is lacking in so many areas.

Cons

They constantly change their plans and doing this means huge price changes. I've no problem with SaaS providers tweaking plans here and there and there being the odd price increase to help develop the product, but Hiver does not do this. Hiver changes their plans hugely every so often and forces existing customers onto these new plans. Yes, this of course is their right, after all, it's their product, but how can they justify wild price increases like 62%? No, this isn't fair and leaves existing customers feeling like they would never have signed up if they knew this was going to happen.

### "Great Issue / Email management App with Good Analytics"

The overall experiance is great as now we can have a great analytics of each issue on user basis which help us for feedback in future.

Pros

Using Hiver for more than a year & the best thing is it doesn't slow down your Gmail experiance along with a great tagging & assignment of emails/ issue.

Cons

Could not find any issue related to the product and their support till now but the pricing can be a bit more competetive.
