Pros: The smart synch feature allows me to keep my storage down but still see my files. This is helpful as a media director because I have a lot of big files

Cons: Not being able to invite user to a folder that has already been Invited. The homepage online business account shows recent files first instead of the folder structure

Pros: Inexpensive and safe way to keep all your files Easy icon on bottom right hand side of the desktop Easy to share the file between accounts Lots and lots of space for a one time fee.

Cons: App doesn't let you switch between accounts easily. You have to log out and log back in every time whereas Google does the switch in a single touch. I have a personal and work account so it becomes a nuisance when I need to quickly pull up a file but I need to go through the login and log out process.

Comments: Has the same optipns as every other cloud storage software, but Google has the same options but does it for free...

Pros: It has auto upload for things like pictures and contacts. It seems to be the same as every other cloud storage software.

Cons: Only limited to 5 gigs without paying, which is the same as many of its competitors. There really are no wow features.

I used to use it more then I do now.

Pros: Anyone who has ever had to share large files no how much of a hassle this can be and DropBox business takes care of any concerns. It's now easy to upload and share files with every member of my team and don't have to worry about any security concerns. I have found with other software and email addons large files are broken up and sometimes even arrive incomplete but DB Business takes the guesswork out of it.

Cons: The software is a bit expensive compared to other cloud services but you pay for what you get. It's also not possible, or least I can't figure it out yet, a way to see who edited a file to hold them responsible.

Overall: I love how Dropbox is independent from Apple/Microsoft.

Pros: I love how easy it is to share files with anyone in my company. They have access to any of the files when they need them. I love how although it is shared this way, the files are also available to my locally on my computer. It makes collaborative projects move seamlessly.

We also use Dropbox to share files with people outside of the company. The ability to send a Dropbox link to a customer with the information they need is great!

Cons: The only thing I don't like about Dropbox is that sometimes when I am working on a file that is stored on Dropbox, it does run a little slow. But I understand this is probably unavoidable.

Comments: Overall useful service for uploading pictures automatically from your phone.

Pros: I've used Dropbox as a free membership for a few years. The automatic integration where photos I would take on my phone would be uploaded immediately was very useful when friends wanted to delete pictures off my phone I took :p

Cons: Naming convention of the photos could be improved, it's slightly difficult to sort through pictures due to default naming convention.

Pros: It's easy to keep files organized in Dropbox. We have different folders for each team, and when you click into a team folder, everything is organized by project and type. When I'm looking for something specific, I can usually find it very quickly. I love being able to access these files anywhere, even when I'm out of the office.

Cons: It can take a very long time for Dropbox to sync. It's not immediately clear which users have access to which folders.

Pros: I really enjoy being able to drag and drop the files I want to save onto the Dropbox website. It is very intuitive to use and is a quick way to store information that I want to safeguard. I personally use it to store finalized versions of documents such as homework assignments. I use it for that purpose as it is easy to search through all the files I have uploaded because there is a nice feature that allows you to star items so you can see them first. I also like having the option to organize files I have uploaded into folders.

Cons: Being able to color code the folders would be helpful as sometimes my folders have similar names (ie. Assignment 1, Assignment 2...etc). I find it difficult sometimes to find what I am looking for as all the folders are a light blue color, it would personally make it easier for me to assign a color to a folder I am currently working with and then remember that color when it is time to access it again.

Pros: So incredibly easy to use, and makes moving, sharing and collaborating on files, documents and anything you could possible need. Even the standard version has 2 TB of space, and upgrading for only a few more dollars a month gives you unlimited storage, so that side of things is never a problem.

Cons: Some might think that it is slightly overpriced, but I think that it is just right for the features offered. I also notice slight slowdown on the computers connected to the network when multiple files are updated at once, but that's a small nitpick, the program is amazing.

Pros: It's easy. If you're a small business that needs to share files among everyone at work.. then this is a great solution that's really easy to use.

Cons: It's pretty expensive for what you get. If you're big enough to have an IT department and they're good at what they do they can probably set something up internally at a fraction of the cost.

And if you're a small enough company (think: < 15 people) that needs to share files... just buy a NAS and do it yourself.

The only use I've ever found for Dropbox is when clients send us data over it. And half the time no one understands that just because ONE user us paying for storage for their data, if they share the folder with you then YOU have to pay for storage for that too. Kinda stupid, right.

Pros: This service has file sharing down to a science. The web interface gives you access to your files from any where and they have sync clients that work on all major operating systems. They file sync does not seem to have any limitations like you can't have certain punctuation in filenames like One Drive does. It allows you to manage the connection totally as well limiting bandwidth and selectively syncing certain folders only on certain computers. They also have integrations with a number of apps out there to serve as storage and a backup and sync location for settings and data. The photo albums feature is great as well allowing you to share pictures with family and friends with a few clicks. and sharing a file is as quick as a right click and then pasting a link. The value for the money is great. Support is wonderful to work with as well they are more than competent and are quite courteous to boot. You can't go wrong with Dropbox!

Cons: You have to ask for your unlimited storage in 5 TB chunks. Technically they allow for 1TB per user in the business account but they will increase it beyond this limit if you ask support on a case by case basis.

Overall: A total file sharing solution. No limitations. no compromises. it just works.

Pros: Dropbox helps to manage my files and folders so well. I can keep everything business-related and personal organized and stored in one place. I can easily share files with others when needed. It also helps to keep my hard drive from becoming overloaded as files that I don't use every day can be stored online rather than on my computer. Hight recommend it!

Pros: What I like the most about Dropbox is the ease of usage and the sharing system. Moreover, despite that there exist other cloud storages like OneDrive, Google Drive or iCloud, they can only share with people in the same organization while Dropbox is an universal sharing system. Although its main function is the storage and sharing, itcomes with a lot of equally useful functionalities that make Dropbox superior to these other cloud storages. Also, I like very much its smartphone application.

Cons: There isn't any problem in particular. It fulfills perfectly with the function for which is designed, but if I had to say something I would say that I found a little more expensive that I expected. Even so, I so happy with the result.

Overall: Great cloud storage. Maybe they could add more security, or at least make us know how secure it is. It is so useful and any enterprise would like to have it.

Pros: Dropbox business operates like regular dropbox, but on steroids. We went with the advanced plan for $20 a month per user and it's worked excellently for our needs. We will sometimes need to send very large files to customers at the end of a project and this was just about the only to accomplish this task. I can store all documents during the course of the project because I'm not limited on size like I am with my personal Dropbox account. The integration with Office 365 is great. We use team folders quite often since there are many times that multiple people will be working on the same project at one time.

Overall: The peace of mind knowing my documents are safe and secure and that i have virtually an unlimited amount of storage. It would cost thousands of dollars every few years to keep our own hardware up to date and running to achieve what we spend just over a thousand dollars a year on.

I don't use Dropbox a ton, but it sure is handy when I need to transfer videos, images, files!

Pros: What I like most about Dropbox is the ability to organize folders any way you like. Creating a folder system for your business has been easy for us to do using this.

Cons: I feel like it takes a long time to transfer videos from my phone or tablet to dropbox. Compared to our "My Cloud" that we have. So I wish the speed was faster.

Pros: I use Dropbox to manage my creative files, which are used in my graphic design business. I am able to work locally on my MacBook Pro by using the Dropbox sync utility. Saved files are then upload to the cloud where they become easily shareable with others. When I need to send the files to a specific printer, I just copy the Dropbox share link and send it to the printer. I don't have to use the printer's file upload utility, which can be painfully annoying at times. Using Dropbox creates efficiencies that are crucial in today's fast-paced world.

Overall: When I need to share a file quickly and easily, Dropbox is my first choice. It has greatly increased my ability to work with other graphic designers and printing firms who need access to my creative works.

Pros: It's a great cloud storage solution for everyone, regardless of your needs. It has developed over time to become a fully integrated solution that I use for both work and personal purposes. It's great for sharing files with friends and colleagues too, so great for sharing photos after a holiday or providing your team with an up-to-date set of the latest files that you're working on.

Cons: Like any cloud solution, it can be tricky to get used to using the cloud to store your files and not relying on everything being native to your computer. It can also be a little confusing at first how to ensure that you're downloading the latest version of a file, especially if a colleague hasn't, for example, finished uploading the latest version. But all teething issues.

Cons: When I run out of storage space, it can be a hassle trying to determine what to get rid of - not unlike running out of disk space on any other device. Would be helpful to have some smart options to help with that, unless I'm missing something.

Pros: Automatic photo upload by integrating with IoS. Saves a lot of time if you use multiple iOs devices. Also, allows for organization into folders. Mostly useful for cloud storage of documents and backing up photos.

Cons: Not enough space. You have to share referral links with friend to get more space. Also, while Dropbox is good for storing large or older files, it is not good for collaboration. I used to use Dropbox more often but now mostly use it to keep an up-to-date backup of my Apple device photos.

Pros: I've been using Dropbox since 2010 when I was in college. First it was for personal use and to help me organize schoolwork and be able to sync between my computer and tablet and to keep a backup of my pictures. Recently, my partners and I have been using it to share documents and articles relevant to our business. It's usefulness has multiplied. We don't have to search through our email to search for documents we've shared. If we need to update a chart or table, we can do it right in the Excel file saved in the Dropbox folder and trust that we'll all have the most updated information.

Cons: Even though we love Dropbox for its ability to share up to date information, it's not always seamless. Sometimes we end up with duplicate documents or if two people are working on something at the same time, we lose some information. However, since we are a small partnership, a little bit of planning is usually enough to find a way around this particular quick. If we had more than three people, it might cause some more serious issues.

Pros: Dropbox works automatically to save your files to all of your computers. You first save your work in Dropbox, and then Dropbox puts a copy in all your computers. You can even go online to get a copy of your files, if you are anywhere with internet access. If you accidentally delete a file, Dropbox saves a copy for 30 days.

Cons: They removed the green check on the icon that shows that Dropbox is completely synced. You can still tell, but it's a bit harder.

Pros: The great thing about Dropbox is how easily accessible it is across multiple devices. You can store a file on the app on your mobile phone and access it later at any time on your desktop. The simplicity of this is perfect for when you have a busy schedule and want to move files to and fro very quickly.

Cons: The cost of storage I believe is a little steep but this is expected as you do need a lot of storage to store media files.

Pros: It¿s a great tool to have for sending/receiving or saving large files. Ive never had any issues with using Dropbox. It¿s great if you need to share large files and can¿t email it or use a flash drive.

Cons: I used to love Dropbox when it first came out years ago. But now I feel like there are better things out there to send/receive or store files on. I personally Don¿t use Dropbox anymore because it¿s 1 more username and password to have to remember, when I get the same features out of my Google account using Google drive. Prices are very similar to what I can get with Apple iCloud or Google. And because I¿m already using other services with Google and all Google logins are tied together, I really don¿t see a need for Dropbox anymore.

Comments: Overall, DropBox is a create tool for anyone needing a central online storage repository for their files. The amount of storage that you get won't be enough to back up all your photos and videos, but it will function very well as document storage that you access from any device.

Pros: DropBox is very easy to use. The process to obtain an account and start saving files is seamless. The DropBox folder shows up automatically from File Explorer, so that you can manipulate files there or online. DropBox is also totally compatible with Microsoft applications, so when you open an Excel document, it opens in Excel (this is not true in Google Drive). The interface to use DropBox is very friendly and they are a well-established company.

Cons: The only con that I have for DropBox is the small amount of memory that they start you out with. You are able to build this amount by adding access for people to your files, and other tasks that build storage. But it feels like a game. Our non-profit group used DropBox for our central file location, but we started having trouble with people not being able to access the files because they didn't have enough storage space. This was happening for two reasons 1) they either had access to so many organization files that it used all their space; or 2) since they were using their personal email account for their DropBox account, their personal files in combination with the organization's folders exceeded their storage amount. To remedy this, we are encouraging people to create an additional dedicated email to use for the DropBox account to use JUST FOR our organizations files. We also decided to move to Google Drive because they start you out with a considerably higher amount of storage. (BUT, you run into weirdness opening Microsoft apps directly from Google Drive, which is frustrating).

Pros: It has become the default way to synchronise and share files across devices and users. The best feature offered is the ability to quickly "share links" to others, whether they have dropbox accounts or not. Another feature I can't live without is the "scan receipt or document" feature. Great for keeping track of work expenses.

Cons: No way to sync on demand, entire dropbox content is synced to a desktop computer at once, which is a massive waste of space if one is using it for longer term storage.

Pros: I am leading a task force for my organization and not everyone has en email through our system, nor do they have the same email server. So Dropbox was a great way to house information for everyone to gain access, review documents, and make comments between meeting dates. We were able to customize each folder and keep things organized which made us look very professional; versus sending everything and communicating via email.

Cons: Some people had some difficulty accessing it the first time, so I had to resend the link. Other than that, we used the free version, so I assume the con would be the cost once we reach out limit. But that hasn't happened yet. So as a short term solution this was sufficient.

Overall: Easy and real-time sharing of documents - the safety net of being able to recover a lost document.

Pros: Dropbox is not within the Microsoft, Google, or Apple ecosystem, which gives it a unique position in the cloud storage arena. When working across organizations and groups, crossover between these proprietary ecosystems can sometimes be limited or rough. Dropbox provides the bridge. When files need to be shared in as simple a way as possible, we've found Dropbox to be the simplest and most straightforward option.

Furthermore, Dropbox for Business serves as an excellent backup platform document exchange and storage. Archiving entire file trees is easy as pie, even when moving content from Windows machines to Apple machines. Dropbox's streamlined approach to cloud storage is certainly its strength. Everything is reduced down to a plain, easy-to-use interface and management system that makes document sharing much easier than it used to be.

Cons: Dropbox is not the best value when compared to other cloud storage platforms. It certainly is easy to use, but the amount of storage you get for the price is less than stellar. Also, the simplicity can, at times, be taxing when you need advanced functionality. Finally, Dropbox file previews can frequently produce issues, depending on the platform.

Overall: Dropbox provides us with a flexible, platform agnostic cloud storage system that makes file exchange, document management, and archiving easy.

Overall: Being able to safely store and update company data. Easy access through servers or website. I have have never had any sort of functional issues with Dropbox either- its very reliable.

Pros: We have literally thousands of files where we keep our project information that is accessible anywhere you are as long as you have an internet connection. No connectivity issues so far and it seems to be a safe reliable way to store and manage files across a large platform.

Cons: Sometimes we have syncing issues with PC, however the majority of our computers are MAC. Seems as if the interface may jive with MAC better then PC.

A great cloud storage tool for any business that requires multi-user collaboration.

Pros: Storage space is the most appealing feature about Dropbox Business. However it also has an easy to use, familiar user interface. It integrates into your windows OS creating a folder that syncs to your Dropbox online folder allowing you to use cloud storage without even using the web interface. No added steps just move/copy/paste files into the Dropbox folder in Windows, and watch the icon turn blue indicating it's syncing. Once it's green it has uploaded all your files into the cloud allowing you to access them anywhere you have web access. It also has a great mobile app which is just as easy to use. If you take a lot of photos for work it has an auto upload feature for your camera roll.

Cons: If you have multiple users registered within your company domain name. Expect Dropbox salesman to be calling you every month or so encouraging you to upgrade everyone to Dropbox Business even if they are fine on a free non-business plan.

Overall: 1 TB Cloud storage

Pros: There is the opportunity for Endless amount of folders, which allows my comapny to create a great amount of sections for documents pertaining to different projects

Cons: There are times when the organization of the folders becomes a little too spread out between folders. If the organization of the folders is too spread out, the process to find the right doc may be overwhelming.

Pros: Dropbox is great. You use a folder just like any other on your computer and it becomes available to everyone on your team, just like a network drive. I love being able to not think about saving files to thumb drives etc and always having everything wherever I go.

Cons: Dropbox business does have some shortcomings. The biggest annoyance is when you set it up for the first time on a computer it automatically wants to sync every single file. This can be changed in the settings, but it often feels like the computer is freezing and extremely slow when you try to change these settings while it is already syncing. Admittedly we are sharing A LOT of files that take up a lot of space. Once you get it setup to selectively sync just the folders you want it works well. You do have to occasionally go and un-sync newly added folders by other team members to keep your hard drive from filling up.

Overall: It works like a network drive without the hassle of setting up and maintaining one. Always backed up and available everywhere.

Pros: Multiple file sharing is very easy to do, as is navigating the interface, and easy access on multiple devices.

Cons: It's not without its bugs, that's for sure. And it needs more features like being able to edit within the program as well as the costs for using it.

Overall: It's generally reliable, allows for easy file sharing between users, and it performs well for what it was designed for.

Pros: Dropbox is great. When synced it automatically backs up your files when saved int he dropbox folder. I also love the teams folder and anything you save outside of the team folder it will be kept private. You can still be signed into your personal dropbox at the same time. That's a great deal and a very important factor.

Cons: The price can be a little hefty for business. But compared to other software, it is reasonable.

Pros: Very to use interface on the desktop
Easy way to sync all files and get instantly notified when a file gets updated

Cons: Sometimes the sync function stops working on my computer and I need to reset the program, which makes me doubt myself if I have the latest file I should be working on.
The is still resolved by logging into the web platform.

Comments: I've never had an experience I thought was superior to Dropbox, so until I do, I will definitely keep using.

Pros: Dropbox is accessible enough that using it as a verb, a la google, is perfectly effective. I've shared a variety of files both professionally and with my family, to a minimally required degree of success.

Cons: The cons are that the user interface and usability are lacking. Dropbox gets the job done, but I often have to reacclimate myself with the functions and where to click, which seems kind of silly for a file sharing platform.

My "go to" file sharing website. Especially now that most of my clients already use it.

Pros: It is extremely easy to use and evolving pretty quickly. It seems every few months there is a new feature that makes life a little bit easier.

Cons: The free version runs out of usefulness pretty quickly due to low storage limits. This is why the business account is necessary.

Comments: This is pretty useful to access documents outside the home of office or when on the go.

Pros: I love that the app for my Android is pretty easy to use. I love that I can access files outside of my office or home computer. I like that additional storage is available.

Cons: Sometimes updated information isn't transferred from computer to computer as quickly as I like...but usually this is a computer problem, not a DropBox problem.

Pros: I like that Dropbox allows you to share files with ease as well as allowing for collaboration with others.

Cons: One improvement I think Dropbox could implement would be adding a feature to review a history of who has opened or commented on a shared file.

Overall: I am able to share large files with colleagues inside and outside of the office with ease. The commenting features allows us to keep track of our approvals at a glance which is very helpful and a big time saver!

Pros: The alerts. It very easy for me to track once a file has been added to my folders. I also like the accessibility of folders from my desktop.

Cons: I did have an issue with not seeing folders on my desktop and instead had to login online to view. I'm still not sure why that was an issue.
