### "Dropbox. More secure than Googel one drive."

March 30, 2026

4.0

It has done well with our team and I feel it is more secure than Google Drive. Pricing is reasonable for what we get, and the storage and option to download to computer are good features.

Pros

The system allows me to share files internally and externally (links, permissions, expiry, passwords). The real-time collaboration + tools like Dropbox Paper, e-signatures, and DocSend tracking kae it easier to collaberate remotely (which we do)

Cons

The cost compared to Google one drive is obvisous. Another thing is that people who are used to Google One drive have a steep learning curve with DB business..especially boomers.

### "Drop Box Review "

March 14, 2026

5.0

Overall experience is a great product when it comes to keeping files together, and storage to free up all your other devices.

Pros

What we like most about Dropbox business is that it is very easy to use, it keeps all my files stored in one place, and is capable of storing large files, easy to reach files and great customer support.

Cons

One of the things that we did not appreciate sometimes we are not able to get into the account, we have to constantly change our password.

Pros

Not much I liked about it to be onest. I gave up because the interface and synching was so convoluted .

Cons

The interface is so difficult. I coulsn't find my stuff, wasn't sure if things would sync. i found it unnecesary difficult to set it up and to access files.

### "Great alternative to OneDrive, with some caveats."

February 12, 2026

4.0

Have used Dropbox Business for the better part of 10 years. Although OneDrive is another app we use, I prefer DropBox when it comes to sharing files with people outside my organization. It just works easier than OneDrive.

Pros

Folder structure works well, desktop app works consistently and sync's with mobile uploads almost instantaneously.

Cons

Not the fault of Dropbox, but Microsoft Files doesn't allow advanced features for files stored in Dropbox. Such as auto-save and shared access.

Alternatives considered

[OneDrive](https://www.capterra.com/p/161304/OneDrive/)

Reason for choosing Dropbox Business

File syncing between mobile devices and desktop app is quicker and more consistent.

### "Dropbox Business: Smooth Sailing… at a Premium Price"

April 9, 2026

5.0

Using Dropbox Business feels a bit like having that one ultra-reliable coworker who never messes up—but charges you for every favor. Day-to-day, it’s smooth, intuitive, and gets the job done with minimal fuss. Files sync, sharing is easy, and collaboration actually works without turning into a tech support nightmare, which already puts it ahead of half the tools out there.

Pros

Ah yes, the classic “premium pricing for the privilege of not losing your files.” Dropbox Business is like that fancy restaurant where you pay extra for water—but hey, at least the glass is clean. You’ll occasionally wonder if you’re funding innovation or just really well-organized servers somewhere in the cloud. To be fair, Dropbox absolutely nailed this. It’s so easy to use that even the least tech-savvy person in your office suddenly becomes “the file-sharing expert.” Drag, drop, done. If only everything else in life were this simple.

Cons

Probably the part where your wallet quietly sighs every billing cycle. It’s not outrageously bad, but it definitely makes you pause and think, “Do I really need this much convenience?” Also, the occasional sync delay loves to show up at the worst possible moment—like right before a deadline—just to remind you who’s really in control. And while the interface is beautifully simple, digging through older or poorly named files can feel like an accidental archaeological expedition.

### "Decent cloud storage solution"

April 17, 2026

4.0

I used dropbox in the early years, before I made a switch to Google Drive. Was a decent solution but needs improvement.

Pros

What I like about Dropbox is how flexible their solution is for business needs. For example, you can create groups and roles without the app. That's something very cool. The other interesting feature that I love is, you are able to restore the deleted files within 180 days. I don't think about businesses in this domain offers that. I might be wrong though.

Cons

Dropbox Business is very cool with many features within. But, I have always one complain about using Dropbox for personal use and that is - you do not have flexible options of less storage. Let's say, what if I needed just 200GB of cloud storage? Well, they do not provide it. So you have to purchase their minimum plan of 2TB.

### "Great product"

April 26, 2026

5.0

I have been using this software for years now and still log in almost every day - it is very useful for me.

Pros

The thing I like the most about Dropbox is the generous amount of storage that you get as part of a standard account.

Cons

The thing I like the least about Dropbox is that the storage is limited. Whilst it is a generous amount, unlimited would be better.

### "Secure file storage and collaboration for restaurant operations teams."

November 19, 2025

5.0

It enhanced collaboration and the speed of accessing key files further smoothing the operations and informing strategic decisions. Security in storing and ease of sharing helped teams coordinate well and ensured consistency among all outlets of the restaurants.

Pros

Allows our teams to easily store, share, and find documents, from strategy reports to menus. The interface is intuitive, onboarding new staff is quick, and the value for money beats many competitors for file sharing and collaboration across restaurant branches.

Cons

We've encountered the occasional bug with syncing or when searching for files, and complex issues sometimes take customer support a while to sort out. Advanced search and navigation are good but could be more flexible in terms of tracking older documents from larger teams.

### "Dropbox For File Storage and Management"

April 4, 2025

5.0

Dropbox is the go to for businesses and agencies for digital project file storage and management. My experience has been pleasant and I plan to continue using Dropbox.

Pros

Dropbox is a great tool for file and document organization and management. Our team uses Dropbox daily for client records, assets, and creative files, which are stored all in one place. It can also be accessed online, so you can access and retrieve files on the go without having to be at your desktop.

Cons

There are times where Dropbox may not sync properly and you may be missing files that were recently added. Once they are synced, though, they can be accessed.

Collaboration is more seamless, and I never fear that I will lose important files–$100 goes a long way for my event projects.

Pros

Dropbox Business makes it simple to store and share files with co-workers. It is easy to navigate and search which saves the time.

Cons

There are occasional bugs and the customer support does take a while to respond. Sometimes we can't access files directly, which is really a big issue.

### "Data Security Analyst"

Dropbox Business is a secure, intuitive collaboration hub for small to mid-sized teams, but its seams start to show for enterprises or creative teams juggling massive files—where storage costs climb and scalability bottlenecks emerge. Its support for small to large business organization

Pros

The user-friendly collaboration interface for my team and robust admin tools for me make Dropbox Business indispensable. It’s rare to find a platform that empowers creativity while keeping security tight—Dropbox nails both.

Cons

Dropbox Business works well for straightforward file collaboration, but power users or cost-conscious teams may find it limiting. The lack of advanced native tools and occasional performance hiccups made me weigh alternatives for long-term needs

### "Dropbox Business Review"

January 20, 2025

5.0

Our overall experience with Dropbox has been superb. We definitely got the return for investing in the platform and we got that back in a short period of time. The collaboration between the team has been seamless since we all work remotely, we can easily manage our files and documents, we can manage our storage without too many problems and we can now deliver to our clients in time and efficiently. The pricing is fair and it's easy to use as compared to other platforms in the same space and has been an industry leader in this space for years as well.

Pros

Dropbox has made my life and my team's life a lot easier when it comes to managing and sharing files within the team. Having a central repository where we can share and interact with the different files we use as a team has been really smooth for our business processes. As a Sales team that is working remotely, Dropbox solved a problem that we never thought we would have, until we all started working remotely because of covid and the lockdowns. The cloud storage offering from Dropbox has been critical in ensuring our efficiency as a team, and having the ability to operate on different operating systems was a plus to the team. It has definitely made collaboration smoother, you have multiple ways of sharing files and documents, and the fact that it integrates with other major platforms that you might already be using as an organization is a relief. One feature we love as a team as well is the seamless sync option from different devices, which makes collaboration a lot easier as everything we do is updated in real-time and syncs across all devices.

Cons

The major issue for us was that sometimes it takes longer to load large files and if you are on a deadline, it can mess with you. In most cases, it takes way longer to load larger files than it should normally do. That is my main challenge with Dropbox at the moment

### "Synchronicity of files with ease in any device"

June 23, 2025

5.0

Pros

I enjoyed that Dropbox synced my files across my laptop, phone, and tablet in real-time even as I switched networks in the middle of my activity, where I had continued access to my most critical files and photos.

Cons

Uploading large project files the sync used to freeze and send hazy error messages, so I have to restart the upload manually.

### "Lots of storage, no collaborative function"

October 15, 2025

3.0

Dropbox is great if you need to store a lot of documents within a large organisation or an agency-type setting but awful for collaboration.

Pros

Great value for money, great search and navigation function and plenty of storage for a large org with lots of docs to sort through.

Cons

Editing and commenting functions are so awkward, it really lets the programme down. When collaborating on designs with my team, we find it nightmareish to leave live comments for one another and make changes together.

### "Worst file sharing service I have ever used."

March 4, 2026

1.0

Awful. will never go back and will not accept files delivered this way. Was overcharged several times and no customer service to help recover these charges. Faceless and greedy.

Pros

Nothing, We now have company policy not to use this service and have deleted our account. We will no longer accept files delivered this way.

Cons

Constantly requesting money to receive files shared by clients. Even if you select free trial they will charge you anyway. Service is very clunky and difficult to navigate.

### "Dropbox - looking past sync issues"

March 4, 2025

5.0

Overall, I think Dropbox is a great platform to use for document sharing and storage and an excellent competitor to Google Drive and similar products.

Pros

It is so easy to share links to files instead of emailing attachments and versions back and forth constantly.

Cons

I think it's challenging for more senior staff to understand the sync functionality, leading to conflicting copies of documents en masse.
