Project Management Construction Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Reliable use of DropBox" December 19, 2025 4.0 Overall the system works great for us in it's amount of storage it will hold and the speed that it will upload and download data for use. Customer support has been great when I have had any type of upload or access issues. I was always able to get a return call. Working remotely was made much easier using Dropbox also when I am not in the office but work on the road or at home. I would not make it without DropBox. Pros This storage option gives our company the best value for the money. It is very easy to use and well known by other companies so they are familiar with the product when it is emailed to them. I was impressed how it allows me to send access to multiple people for team collaboration on projects and would allow me to have the team organize all by folders which made easy searching and navigation of the project. Cons I have seen situations where clients have rejected the access I sent to them because their email security blocked it. This is due to the the fact that many phishing emails will create a link like DropBox and can make people suspicious. I suggest notifying people before you send. It allows me easily work remotely when out of the country on Mission Trips. Pros Dropbox has a 256-bit AES and SSL/TLS encryption and which is fantastic for data compliance. The interface is great with its drag and drop features. I like that we are able to edit text and rearrange pages in pdfs from Dropbox itself. Cons The basic version only provides 2gb of free storage after which the prices shoot up. I link condivisibili sono comodissimi, sia per collaborare internamente che per inviare file ai clienti. Non serve registrarsi o fare login complicati: clicchi e scarichi. Una cosa che apprezzo è la possibilità di decidere chi può vedere, modificare o solo leggere ogni singola cartella o file. È utile soprattutto nei team più grandi o nei progetti più delicati. Abbiamo evitato più di un disastro grazie alla possibilità di recuperare versioni precedenti o file cancellati. Una specie di "rete di sicurezza" digitale. Dropbox ha un design minimalista che aiuta: niente fronzoli, solo quello che serve. Anche chi non è troppo “tecnico” riesce a muoversi senza problemi. Cons La versione Business ha un costo che può pesare, soprattutto per team piccoli o freelance. Si paga per la qualità, ma è giusto tenerlo a mente. A volte, soprattutto con file molto pesanti, bisogna fare attenzione a cosa viene sincronizzato sul dispositivo e cosa resta solo sul cloud. Non sempre è chiarissimo. Rispetto ad altre soluzioni come Google Workspace o Microsoft 365, Dropbox è più focalizzato solo sull’archiviazione.
