### "Dopbox takes the pain out of having your files everywhere"

January 23, 2018

5.0

you get everything everywhere, you can share with your team, and you can back up what you need.

Pros

A lot of people use Dropbox, it is the best way to store files and to share them, it is just simple. You can store everything you need for your personal use and now with Dropbox Business you can also store everything your business needs. We have to work with others, and that work sometimes requires files to be shared. Be it in an office or if you are a remote worker. Dropbox allows for everyone to have the same version of the file and to be able to know what everyone is talking about (with files, images, videos). It helps you share what you want with who you want, easy ways of sharing, and it integrates with your computer system so it is very easy to use.

Cons

You have to be very careful when you delete files (for example when moving computers or when one computer is running out of memory) because it will delete what you delete from all the places where you are synching. It is not a big deal because they will still have the files to recover them if you do it within 30 days of deletion. But it is best to keep that in mind. Selecting what to sync (which folders) is probably the least favorite part, it should be easier.

### "Powerful data storage, sharing and synchronization software "

October 22, 2022

5.0

Overall this is a great cloud storage option for companies who are looking for a way to store their files and collaborate and share information.

Pros

If you’re looking for a well priced data storage option then Dropbox for Business ticks all the boxes. It allows secure storage and sharing from your DropBox and has a great backup solution as well. It has really robust security and permission management and the two factor authentication is great for security. The load time for files is really quick and there is great synchronization across devices if you have this on your phone and computer.

Cons

The search function and folder-location can be a little difficult to use and get right it’s not as simple as other ones. It would also be good to get some mid level plans as it’s easy to move beyond the basic plans quickly and the larger storage options can be more expensive when you don’t need that much space.

### "Fast and reliable file syncing with a ton of great features"

June 14, 2018

5.0

Pros

My team uses Dropbox Business to sync files across devices and share documents both amongst ourselves and with external audiences. The tight integration with the Finder on Mac means we can treat our Dropbox folders as our default file storage location and not worry about what is or isn't being synced. The 2TB of storage is more than many people even have on their computer to begin with, so we never worry about running out of space. One of my favorite features is the ability to save, by default, all your screenshots to Dropbox. As a result, when I capture something on my screen, it automatically gets saved to the cloud and saves the link to my clipboard. So my workflow of sharing a screenshot is super quick. I also love the ability to selectively sync certain files. That's great for large video files that I want to have access to without taking up space on my laptop's limited hard drive. The granular controls for sharing certain files and folders also makes collaboration a breeze. We deal with a lot of creative assets like logos, color palettes, etc., and sharing a single folder with all of that stuff is one of our favorite features.

Cons

The various types of licenses has really expanded in recent years, and led to some confusing tiers. I worry that they might be headed down a path similar to apps like Evernote where the developers fall victim to scope creep. For instance, Dropbox apps like Paper are interesting, but ultimately not too much more useful than other document collaboration apps like Google Drive (which also allows editing from non-business tier users).

### "I like Dropbox but also feel my privacy is as risk."

September 2, 2022

4.0

Not good not bad. Just nice to have sometimes.

Pros

I like it is so convenient to share large documents via Dropbox and there will be backed up for me if I accidentally delete something.

Cons

I logged on my Dropbox on my personal computer and I also worked from home that day. (We remotely log on to computer in office via another app.) Then, the second day, in the office, I saw Dropbox reminded me my game on steam saved x amount of times on my personal computer. I mean, i don't want people in office to see what I am doing at home. Just for my privacy. Dropbox connected those TWO microsoft account without asking my permission. That pissed me off. And by the way, it is hard to un-link them,

### "Easy platform to shares data in organization"

September 7, 2022

5.0

Pros

We can browse our data from anywhere, and the search options in Dropbox have considerably shortened the time required to retrieve particular material. All our employees have access to all the data they need instead of enabling access to classified material limited to upper-level employees. Thanks to the option to restrict access to various employees' specific folders and files.

Cons

Upgrading from the free version to Dropbox Premium or any other paid plan is rather pricey. An additional fee is required if you need the extra storage space with an office suite.

### "One of the best tools to backup and share files."

December 15, 2018

5.0

I use Dropbox Business to synchronize files between different devices and share documents and other files with co-workers and clients of the organization in a simple, fast and secure way.

Pros

In general I love this tool but there are aspects that stand out like: \* Allows the centralized administration of the software so that the person responsible for it, can manage and monitor the accounts from which the files are shared and the users who access it, allowing to add or remove them, as well as add or delete permissions to users, what increases the security and confidentiality of the shared information. \* It has a backup system, so it allows the creation of backup copies thus ensuring the availability of information or shared files in case of any problem with them. \* It allows to store large amounts of data efficiently optimizing the available bandwidth, through different synchronization systems.

Cons

So far I do not have many complaints about the program, and I think the biggest disadvantage it has in comparison with other similar programs, is that the storage space offered for free slopes is a bit limited, 2 GB barely, so if you need more storage it is imperative to update the account which is somewhat expensive compared to other services.

### "Dropbox: A Collaborative File System"

November 5, 2021

4.0

Pros

I love how are admin team can access this set of files from any entity (nationally and otherwise). The files are organized just as they would be on Word and there are options to make subcategories of folders unlike in Google Drive.

Cons

The system does not allow multiple users to edit a file at one time. No more than 1 user per entity may access a file at the same time which puts this system behind Google Docs in this regard.

A fantastic user experience, I would gladly recommend to anyone!

Pros

This software is ideal for secure document and data storage whilst simultaneously being accessible to those who need to work collaboratively on it. It makes distance no object!

Cons

We produce a large volume of data so this does require a lot of bandwidth for syncing, but this would be true of any cloud based software.

### "Good software to have for business need"

October 27, 2021

5.0

Pros

It's a valuable tool for document sharing, customizing, downloading, security, and time limits. The cost is reasonable. It is also handy for virtual and simultaneous work with multiple users; it has a big storage capacity and automated backups. It syncs with any platform with Dropbox access. It's a fantastic method to exchange files with your colleagues and clients, and the option to share presentations is beneficial.

Cons

It is a decent program in general, but there are alternatives with tremendous potential, more tools, and, most importantly, for a lesser price. It cannot be regarded to be entirely safe due to the fact that the encryption it provides is not end-to-end. The free version is relatively limited, and there have already been competitors with higher capacity, more customization possibilities, and are free.

### "Our secure cloud for file storage."

January 11, 2022

5.0

Experience has always been positive with Dropbox Business for file backup and restore. I used it a lot to share files and sync files in real time from my devices and always keep them safe in the cloud. Dropbox has great technical support in case of problems or questions.

Pros

I have an admiration for Dropbox Business because it was one of the first backup tools I started using many years ago. I started with the free version and today we use the Enterprise. We offer security through 256-bit SSL/TLS and AES encryption and 2-phase authentication. I really like the file recovery functionality in up to 180 days. This has saved us many times when we need to recover files that were mistakenly deleted from the cloud.

Cons

The price of the Enterprise version is a little expensive. I would recommend the standard version if you are looking for something cooperative and don't have a lot to spend.

### "Dropbox Business is the real deal"

Pros

My experience with Dropbox Business is the best, haven’t had such an experience lately. Automatic file backup option is my favourite feature, Am not afraid of loosing my documents as this helps me back up all my docs. Cloud storage relieves me my worries of storage , i can store those huge and bulky docs without a problem, and security of my docs with encryption is a life saver, with cloud storage I can access my docs from anywhere. The UI is simple and easy to understand, I needed no training to kickstart. The collaboration makes our work lofe easier, we are able to collaborate when working om joint projects with my employees, makes us increase productivity

Cons

I woulf appreciate additional storage but overall am a happy and contented user. I love Dropbox Business

### "Dropbox Business Review"

August 11, 2022

5.0

Within the e-commerce space it's imperative to us to receive vendor assets that can me used in marketing and for on-site placement. Being able to give the vendor the power to do all of the uploading into the pre-created folders is so streamlined. The messy days of receiving images as email attachments and having to dig through inboxes is over!

Pros

What I like the most about Dropbox Business is the ease of use across multiple teams & vendors. We mostly use it in a capacity that enables our vendors to upload and share assets with our company within the e-commerce space. It's so simple to onboard and create new folders/files for each vendor and within the vendor create sub folders for them to add assets to based on campaign.

Cons

I really don't have any negatives to share, Dropbox Business is simple to use and to the point. Not everything needs big bells & whistles, sometimes you just need to get the job done efficiently and Dropbox Business meets that need.

### "Still one of the best Cloud Storage solutions out there!"

September 10, 2018

4.0

Despite its cons, I still think Dropbox Business is the one of the best drive that is out there especially for international business where team members spread around the globe. There’s a reason many of the big tech companies like Facebook is using Dropbox.

Pros

Dropbox is very easy to set up and works seamlessly when integrated as a folder right on your desktop/document. The online version is useful as well since it has version controls and also let users delete unwanted copies or shares a download link. Overall, the main benefit is having a cloud backup of all your files since I can always sync and retrieve files if anything goes wrong!

Cons

It is a bit pricey compared to other solutions such as Google Drive. Dropbox is one of the first in the cloud storage industry but it seems they recently lack any amazing or innovating features. Syncing sometimes may not work for strange reasons, especially on newly set up machine. If you have a lot of data (in TB), sometimes it will take forever to download and sync. Navigation flow of the online version is also a bit unintuitive and requires a lot of mouse clicks than necessary. Finally, it’s not the best tool for real-time collaboration since multiple editing the same files will create a lot of conflicted copies.

### "I've been using Dropbox for years as a video editor"

March 29, 2022

4.0

Overall, there are a couple features that aren't as smooth as they could be, but there are no alternatives (including WeTransfer or Google Drive) I would recommend over using Dropbox Business aside from manually shipping drives through the mail. I pay for Dropbox and it's well worth the money.

Pros

I like the peace of mind that comes with having all of my footage and files backed up in the cloud. This is great for content duplication in the case of drive failures. It also really helps with being able to send files to others who aren't local as well as access files via my mobile devices when I'm traveling or on the job. All of my work is remote, so it's been instrumental in my ability to handle a remote workflow as a video editor.

Cons

There are some occasional troubles with upload and download. When it comes to massive files, Dropbox is usually great, especially since I can easily download by syncing the files on my desktop. However, sometimes I'm not able to upload/download all files easily/quickly or without the hassle of double checking to ensure all files "made it." I've seen the most issues with the file request folders. Some of my clients aren't as savvy when it comes to content transfers and they've claimed to have uploaded files but I can't see them on my end. This is most likely a user error, but I do wish that that feature was a little more intuitive and user friendly for my clients sake.

I get a chance to save large data, I'm able to share my files with other people. And it is found on different platforms(windows, androids, and app gallary)

Cons

It's a bit challenging to use but once you get to use it it works well.

Pros

With Dropbox business I'm able to integrate files between the office and out in the field easily and with minimal effort. To train staff easily. Knowing that my files are secure and always at my fingertips.

Cons

What is disliked about Dropbox business is that in order to upgrade my storage, I have to then pay a monthly or yearly subscription. It would very nice to have a company offer this for free.

### "Safe and sound"

August 9, 2022

For storage, that was basically what I needed, Dropbox was secure and easy to use.

Pros

From all the platforms I tested, Dropbox was the only one that gave me a sense of security to storage my documents. Although it's great for sharing, it still has tools to keep everything safe.

Cons

The mobile usability isn't as user friendly as the site's. When I implemented it, the answerrs were a little slow in order to finish the onboarding.

### "The king of online storage with some caveats"

October 5, 2018

4.0

Pros

The core product of Dropbox is rock solid. It's an easy to use, fast, no nonsense online storage and file sharing service. Sharing content with a link is very good and easy to use, plus the option to receive comments on this content is very welcome for many professionals. Shared folders appear in your collaborators respective Dropbox and sync instantly. Nerdy things like delta-updates (meaning that if you change a single word to your file, it only uploads the difference and not the whole file again), LAN syncing (computers in the same local network don't have to download shared folders' content) are not just nice to have, but a core details that push Dropbox over the top.

Cons

Lately Dropbox has been trying to nickel and dime Plus users: their new file streaming functionality in reserved only for Pro (their mid tier). Additionally, they have been pushing heavily for either Free or Plus users to upgrade to more costly tiers, quite obtrusively. Also, they couldn't issue a business invoice for my Plus account, as this was only possible for Pro account -- although it's clearly a business expense for me. So personally, after being a Plus customer for years, it made more sense to stick with the Free plan for some basic collaboration and storage, and switch to G Suite Google Drive, which doesn't have fancy things like delta-updates and isn't as straightforward as Dropbox, but what it does have is infinite storage and file streaming built-in. All in all, you can decide what's best for you, but choose wisely because switching between these services can be quite a headache.

### "Dropbox "

July 31, 2023

It helps me get the work I need to get done, done. No matter where I am. I couldn't work without it.

Pros

Dropbox helps me work remotely, and provides an easy to use searching function their website. It also helps ensure I only need the files I need are downloaded to my computer, so my hard drive isn't packed full of files that aren't in use.

Cons

When a user from the team account is removed, so are all the links they previously shared, therefore any links in handovers are null and void. I understand this is probably for security reasons, but there must be a way around this.

### "It is a must-have tool for any company"

April 24, 2019

5.0

I have already made an automatic monitoring system with cameras saving their captures on a shared Dropbox folder, many projects with work colleagues, academic projects and ideas never stop arriving in my mind. It is incredible and much flexible. I love Dropbox for Business and its support whenever I need to ask something!

Pros

Comparing all the cloud storage systems available out there, this is the most reliable and easier to use and setup. Dropbox is on the road for many years now, and it is not because of luck. It is very robust, it does what it must to do very well: synchronize your files to the Cloud in a secure and fast manner. It is available for you to use it on the computer (Desktop or browser), on the phone, game consoles and even on smart TVs. The Business version also have many additional functions like teams to share documents regarding a project or demand with access control. It offers a huge quota in the Business version.

Cons

Sometimes the client installed on Windows computers starts to get really heavy to run, consuming many resources from the machine with no apparently reason. The problem is solved by restarting the service or even the entire operating system. I don't know exactly if it is related to the client program or some operating system error.

### "Excellent for collaborations"

November 17, 2018

5.0

Pros

Was it Dropbox intention to be used as a minute back-up? I don't know, but that's how I use it and it's been simply amazing. When collaborating, with multiple people editing the same files, we can now work on one file at a time. This way it's always clear which is the most recent and when it's last been updated. No sending over files. But that's not the best part - the best part is that every change gets stored by Dropbox. When someone messes up, or when we just want to revert and edit, it can be done instantly. This way it function as a live backup. It's amazing, not a single one of my personal back-ups provided the same amount of file versions as dropbox. I know Dropbox Business has a lot more functions than the above, and I'm definitely not taking advantage of all of them. Yet, even just using it for this single basic function, I believe it's worth the monthly cost. I recommend it to anyone with a close-knit team project that needs collaboration on the same files. It keeps the amount of files low, easily organised and easy to save old versions.

Cons

Not good for control freaks or micromanagers. While you do have access to all old versions, you have to pull those up. If you prefer to keep an eye on the evolution of a project, you might want to stick to the good old way of working with multiple file versions and sort them in folders.
