Pros

The best file-sharing SaaS platform offers a file hosting facility at a very reasonable cost. The best part is its user-friendliness. Even a first-time user can get the work done without any assistance.

Cons

The only con I see is this is utterly dependable on internet speed and some times downloads getting failed when there is bad connectivity.

I thought it was really expensive.

Pros

I was a big fan of dropbox when it started - ease of use being paramount

Cons

As time went on it changed for me beyond recognition and so I used it less and less. Some of my music and video files were unusable and the complexity of finding my way around what used to be a very simple and well laid out application became too much to bother with.

I recommend this as a standard software for a small and medium-sized organizations with minimal it knwoledge.

Pros

This is a standard software for compiling, storing and reviving files and documents. It provides nearly 2tb free space and with a small expense it will allow unlimited storage space. Multiuser accessability is an excellent feature inorder to organize your company's documents. The dashbord is very simple and easy to understand and work with. And we can incorporate different tools like microsoft office with ease.

Cons

Basically there is no much bad things about this software. The difficulty I face is some documents get automatically duplicated thats very annoying. And also slow synchronization is a quiet disturbing.

It was, till a few years ago the go to platform for collaboration, the ease of deployment, user admin and file sharing put it way above other platforms

Peace of mind knowing all of my important work is automatically saved.

Pros

I love the way Dropbox backs up my documents in real time. As a developer, I use Dropbox to store my code so I can retrieve it from anywhere. I also like the ability to share documents and folders with other people in my company as well as clients.

Cons

I have had a couple instances where my documents seemed to have disappeared from Dropbox. Perhaps it was a user error on my part; I was never able to identify the underlying cause and it has happened so rarely I hardly give a thought to it.

Overall it's been a medium experience of rolling it out. While there is a fair amount of integration between personal and business, Dropbox expects one to just "trust them" when it comes to the lines between them and I find that to be a hard thing to do.

Pros

Dropbox is easy to use, with both local applications that run and virtually the same functionality in a web browser.

Cons

Dropbox is difficult to Administer because it's not very intuitive. Often when I'm looking for more granular permissions, its difficult to review and set.

Very positive and I prefer it vastly to the alternatives, including the Big Guy on the Block, G. IT is easy to use and I feel generally secure with the storage of sensitive items,.

Pros

It is an industry standard, robust with integration into the rest of the system. Relatively easy to use, decent GUI and controls

Cons

There are connectivity hiccups with having a personal and a business dropbox accounts. There are problems on Apple with saving files directly to the folder rather than just to "dropbox."

According to my experience Dropbox business is a not only file sharing platform but also team collaboration tool.

Pros

In this platform we can save basically any type of file. It helps for file accessible from all of our device. It has ability to share our files with others. I really like their file preview because we can have a quick look at a file before fully opening it. We can easily access to deleted files and being able to recover those files.

Cons

Well, I’m not happy with their mobile application. When we consider about their price, Dropbox business is more expensive than other options. when we work with it, sometimes syncing issues can be occurring. Otherwise it has no complains.

We utilize dropbox to receive and review our clients purchase orders and spec sheets.

Pros

You can use dropbox to span many clients without opening yourself up to proprietary information issues as it keeps the spaces separate very well. You can gain access to another space by receiving a link from the initial user.

Cons

Many times the user gives access to only one person in a team. That person then needs to give access to the team so they end up sharing their login details rather than extending the permissions by going back to the organizer for that space and requesting the team members to be added (since the organizers are typically clients and that would burden them it makes it less likely we would do that). This opens the person giving the credentials out to login issues. It would be incredibly helpful to have an admin user who could apply permissions they were given to their team within their company.

Pros

The thing I liked most about Dropbox Business is its ease of use and powerful collaboration capabilities. It's incredibly user-friendly and provides a secure platform for teams to work together on projects. It also offers powerful administrative tools for managing user accounts and access, making it easy to keep everything organized.

Cons

Frankly, I did not encounter any negativity, it made my job easier with everything.

Overall, my experience has been positive. It's important to know the limitations that Dropbox has, just like any other software program. Our company knows the limitations, and it works really well for us.

Pros

My company used Dropbox to be able to manage all of our important documents, and even use day to day as we process PO and Invoices. It was extremely useful because files would be instantly accessible to everyone within the company. Also, it's nice that there can be private files that only certain people can access. This makes it really useful from a management perspective so that people can only see things that are pertinent to their roles.

Cons

The main downside of Dropbox is that people cannot work on projects at the same time. If two people are working on a document and save it separately, the first person that saves will lose their work to the more recently saved version. Also, on multiple occasions, we have lost a significant amount of data. It's very important to have a backup of the information in Dropbox that is updated regularly.

Pros

I can access my files anywhere. My phone, my laptop, my desktop, my iPad. And so many apps are integrated​ with Dropbox these days that I can create documents and instantly have them sent to my Dropbox account.

Cons

Our staff has not found Dropbox Paper to be helpful, but mainly because we use other software for those kinds of needs. But maybe if we tried to integrate more into our rhythms it might be helpful.

I've been using Dropbox for as long as they have been open as a company, I am a loyal user and I love how easy to use it is, it really does get better and better year after year.

Pros

I love how easy to use dropbox is when it comes to sharing files, it's so easy to use the website or the app on desktop, or the mobile app, they are all great.

Cons

The costs add up when you have a lot of users, and in the case of my company, we have subscriptions to both Google Drive and dropbox, it would be nice if dropbox had better document sharing features than they do, then we could drop Google drive.

Our employees mostly work remotely as of the past couple of years. At first we worked off a server in the main office, but we decided to switch over to Dropbox Business. The price had gone down so it was worth trying. After switching, the upload and download speeds for the remote employees significantly improved. And the reliability has been excellent. Overall, productivity has increased and frustration has decreased from using Dropbox.

Pros

Sometimes the syncing takes awhile on a computer that hasn't accessed the cloud recently, but overall it's so much faster than working off an office server.

I use this app to backup old files, and share file links with customers. Working across different computers and devices is easy because I have access to all my files anywhere I go. Works great on the web, desktop integration, and mobile app.

Pros

Dropbox is easy to use, with lots of useful features for sharing, getting comments on documents, backing up old versions, desktop integration, etc. It also has a great feature for requesting files from others so they can upload them easier and not have to deal with attaching large files to emails.

Cons

They do have an integration with gmail, but it needs work. If this was more seamless this app would be perfect. Otherwise, I haven't experienced anything negative in my years of using it.

It is one of the best options I have used, it has been very easy to use and I have never had any problems with the files I have stored.

Pros

The great advantage that this platform offers is the ample storage for all its plans, I consider that it is very economical 3TB for $19.99. For those who need to keep many files stored is extremely good option. In addition, it is easy to use, has an intuitive interface and integrates with many platforms on the market.

Cons

I have noticed that when I work with massive loads of articles the platform gets a bit slow. This is a bit annoying. If you can fix it that would be great.

Cons

Sometimes I do struggle to find specific files that I've just loaded to Dropbox if I have a significant number of files in use. It's important to keep your folders organized or you will amass a hodgepodge of untidy files.

Pros

I love Dropbox's reliability. I've been using their product as backup for my work files for 5+years and have never had an issue. I also love that I can backup any type of file. I barely save anything outside of dropbox ever

Cons

Downloading the folder takes a lot of space, so I can't have that kind of full access on every device. But it's not really an issue because I can get whatever I need online. Also, I think they could do a better job at highlighting changes on collaborative files.
