Pros: This is an incredible work force management software that integrates inside kronos clock system and has analytical attributes.

Cons: Very expensive to use
Browser based and still requires java which has issues
can stall and freeze from time to time

Pros: Easy to navigate and create reports. I like that we are able to create reports and save them in excel. Also to be able to print out past W2s.

Cons: I wish that when you log in the system wouldn't time you out so quickly. Sometimes the employees have trouble clocking in and out using the phone app.

Pros: It is pretty user friendly for the most part. I like that they are very quick to answer and try and help with problems.

Cons: Many options to have to learn. There are so many different ways and places to review and change things. So many employees look up info differently.

Comments: I would recommend this to other clients, but would recommend doing 1 phase at a time. We tried to do 3 at one time and it was way too overwhelming and our timeline that we wanted in completed in was unrealistic.

Pros: This program offers so much good information, but can be difficult to find what your looking for and set up. The customer service help is awesome and is always willing to help get things the way you want.

Cons: The accruals portion needs some updates. They do not recognize future time off and give incorrect error messages. The mobile app for clocking in/out needs some updates- does not seem to work for all employees, but does for most. The set up process if very involved, but worth it in the end.

Overall experience is very easy to use.

Comments: Customer service department is very pleasant and a pleasure to work with. They always go above and beyond what is needed.

Pros: Able to set up recurring reports to what suits my needs, with as much or as little information needed.

Cons: Setting up employees in multiple screens, easy to miss filling in a required field and difficult to locate if any errors.

Pros: Staff was very helpful in setting up the program. The reports I am told would be very flexible to make.

Cons: The program is not as dynamic as some features on our current system. Especially the account set up.

Comments: Overall I do think that Kronos Workforce ready is one of the best systems out there that has a lot to offer in one package.

Pros: I love how all of the different aspects of human resources is woven into one system in a comprehensive and easy to use system, once you know how to utilize it properly.

Cons: Quite a number of our employees are not so tech-savvy and have a hard time with all of the different steps it takes to do simple tasks e.i. logging in or correcting their time...

Overall, quality product and you appear to address issues in a timely manner.

Pros: The layout of the software is easy to view & numerous reports make for efficient use of time to gather numbers needed.

Cons: The calendar view for checking monthly staffing could be set up better to view. We would like to see (seconds) added to the time of submission for time off requests.

Comments: The clocks are resilient and easy to use, none of our employees have any complaints.

Pros: It is quick, accurate, and cloud based (so it is available everywhere). It combined our 4 locations, and digitized our PTO system while allow us to use the same access card for time keeping as we do for a door access system.

Cons: The biggest con for us is that it does not integrate with our payroll system (we use paychex flex). We are able to export hours from Kronos to Flex. Another con would be that the App feels a little out dated.

Comments: This is a well-designed product, flexible in its use. Highly recommended.

Pros: Over several years of using this product we've been able to work with the Kronos team to customize it to our exact specifications. It's solved a kep problem of employee time tracking for a remote workforce of hundreds.

Cons: So far we do not have functionality for attaching expense receipts and reporting on them easily. That is the only con that comes to mind.

Comments: Been with Kronos for 3 years and every day I am happy with our selection.

Pros: I consider this software a great all in one. They are continuously improving the features and rolling out new ones.

Cons: Nothing that you wouldn't deal with anywhere else. They are always willing to listen to your concerns.

Pros: Kronos has changed the entire dynamic of our HR responsibilities. It has allowed us to keep all of our information for our employees in one place. It is very easy to use and design based on our companies needs. We use Kronos as our employee database as well as payroll.

Cons: Not many cons, but I suppose the navigating through the system just takes some time and effort to learn. Which this is to be expected.

Comments: Really enjoy this software as a manager. Very easy to use and very good setup.

Pros: Ease of use and ability to see employees time. When submitting time off and approving that time the software is very easy to use.

Cons: While the setup is very easy to use the board layout could be easier to setup but in general all info is very easy to see.

Comments: Having moved to Kronos from our old timekeeping system has been very helpful; however, tends to be extremely slow especially on timesheet day.

Pros: Able to submit time and not have to worry about making adjustments for overtime worked. Can look at real time balance of the amount of time available for days off. Can do a lot more on this format with minimal assistance.

Cons: The version needs to be updated so it can be much more functional. Tends to operate very slowly especially when completing time sensitive tasks.

Pros: You can keep all your information for your employees in one place. They have many capabilities such as tracking work comp and compensation. Easy to use and very customizable.

Cons: Does not communicate well with Workforce Central. I wish there was more in depth in person training available.

Pros: The functionality. There are a lot of options available and "tweaking" can be applied rather easily to fit the not so black and white processing.

Cons: Navigating around the system can at times be a little clunky. Although the search feature has been very beneficial.

KWR has an excellent userface and allows for easy edits of timecards and punches for all employees.

Pros: The visual interface is nice. The available templates and copy functions make it easy to post schedules and for staff to use for scheduling.

Cons: If you get locked out and need a reset or other authentication help be prepared to wait on hold for a while before you can get back in and you may have important stuff to get done.

Pros: The visual inteface is nice, the list of activities is quite easy and segregation of duties, at least for the company is easy to understand.

Cons: Java is not compatible with some other systems, specially with other Kronos systems, which makes the navegations and other uses of Java useless.

Comments: Need more support time for companies like ours that has unusual or difficult rules to follow/create to make my job as payroll easier as it should be with this system.

Pros: The software is very good once figured out how to get it to do everything that you want it to do if it has the capability.

Cons: I would like for it to have more features. Example - once I have entered in all employees schedules I then need it to print out on their actual timesheet which it does not have that capability to do. It is very difficult (and I am computer savvy) to get the reports created without customer support.

Comments: Overall, the software is a helpful tool. Our organization is in the process of expanding our Kronos capabilities so I am excited and curious to see how our updates come to life.

Pros: To begin, the software is aesthetically pleasing, which is always a plus. It is easy on the eyes and most information is easily accessible.

Cons: There are quite a few areas where information does not ¿flow¿ through from our other software partners. Also, there are some processes that seem to require a large number of button clicks.

Comments: The deduction start dates are frustrating; you cannot enter a start date that might be during the time that the previous pay period is still open. It's like there is not tie back to the pay periods.

Pros: Web based product, very user friendly. The reporting features are fantastic. The Employee Self Service Portal is easy to use.

Cons: There is no troubleshooting ability; when you get an error message the system does not give you an explanation of the error or suggestions on what could be causing it.

Pros: I love how straightforward this system is for our employees. We have over 300 employees and they all enter their hours without any issues. Kronos is also very customizable which we appreciate.

Pros: The software is very easy to use and the support provided when help is needed. Kronosworks along with the drop in sessions have been very informative.

Cons: No easy way to tell what someone changed during open enrollment and what stayed the same. Also, when there are no changes an end date is entered on their plan and a new one is created.

Comments: Have been happy with ease of use overall - again not happy with the only having BSI as the only option for PR Taxes and Filings as it's no a very good product and not easy to use.

Pros: Overall it's very easy to use and love that the timekeeping flows to the payroll so everything is very automated.

Cons: Sometimes support cases take longer to get a call back or get resolved then they should but overall the support are very helpful. Have had issues with BSI the tax program KRONOS uses. Should have other options available and not force you to use the BSI product (they do have another option but you have to be on their service bureau to use it and we are not interested in that as the timeline for the service bureau cant' work with our payroll runs) - I actually felt like we took 10 steps backwards from a filing and paying PR taxes from when we were doing payroll in QuickBooks to moving to KRNOS. For the 2nd year in a row the FUTA report was calculated incorrectly for one of our companies. The issue was reports 2 years ago to BSI and apparently was not corrected as I had the same issue again this year.

Pros: Been on Kronos for about a year and a half. System is relatively easy to use. We are a staffing company and have about 300 people on the system at any time.

Cons: At various times throughout the year, we've called customer service and found the process to be a bit frustrating. Waiting for call backs and no test system for changes to be tested before fixes. Also, the onboarding process is "clunky".

Comments: Should get more input from users when doing upgrades. Kronos seems to miss the little things that could make the product better.

Pros: It has many items that are very useful. Notes, reports, etc. some of it is user friendly for people who are not computer smart. Has much info that you can keep track of.

Cons: Too much goes on behind the scenes that affects end results. Front end users can't see these things and it causes many problems. Needed lots of set up to get what we wanted when we started using the upgrade. Too much turnover of Kronos employees when doing set ups.

Comments: I will never work for another company that uses Kronos.

Pros: It helps HR with candidate tracking. From my experience that is all that I see good from this system.

Cons: We use rate tables and now we have to go in and change every single persons rate when we do the annual increase instead of just changing the rate table. Report writing is frustrating. The build was a complete nightmare. It should have been scraped and restarted. We never had an onsite with Kronos prior to Pay Northwest starting the build and the team leader quit mid build. The next team leader tried to tell us what we wanted or needed and didn't listen to our requirements. Still trying to get reports that we need for our reporting requirements. What was supposed to be a great system and a lot of promises that were made by the original sales team we have found to be complete falsehoods. It has created more work for payroll instead of easing the burden. More corrections have had to be made because of building errors and what should have been corrective actions. We never know what we are going to run into when we arrive at work on Monday.

Kronos Workforce Ready has many functions however is not the easiest system to learn.

Pros: This product has many functions and tracks everything in real time. The ability to utilize different pay categories and calculate employees' PTO/vacation accrual is very nice.

Cons: Recently I've had to teach new managers how to use the Kronos system. The Kronos system can be confusing for those who have not used it before. There are many small details that must be adhered to in order to ensure the system calculated time correctly.

Pros: plan and organize the stores according to the demands you have
You get statistical reports from each employee or department.

Cons: dangerousness that this part of the web has that is not controlled at the standard level by the browsers themselves or by computer security organizations.

Pros: The product was fairly easy to learn, however there are so many caveats that cause the product to stop itself short of being efficient.

Cons: The system has many hiccups that cause many of our processes to end up being manual. Effective dating causes issues where we have to hold onto a status change due to dating issues. Also the look/feel of Kronos is very clunky. There is also not ad hoc reporting tool or wizard.

Pros: easy to use and understand. I have been able to fix any issues the employees have had. You just have too pay attention to what Kronos is telling you.

Cons: i wish the reports were a little more user friendly and open. You can only use the headings that they provide.

Pros: Step by step instructions for processing payroll are very easy to understand. The reporting feature is very easy to use and create.

Cons: Some of the tutorials are not very clear. It would be easier if an example was shown. Alot of time it will tell you that the software is capable of doing a certain thing buit not tell you how to get to that location.

Pros: World class platform that is constantly updated. The Kronos community website is an interesting portal for general systemic updates. The implementation team is an outstanding team.

Cons: No operational issues at this time. One point of concern, we previously had Empower which was purchsed by Kronos. I asked about retaining our Empower payroll information for just one year.

Comments: I feel like the information leading up to go live was helpful, but could have included more advanced information. I feel like it would be nice if you didn't feel like you had to get in the community and join all of these different groups to get the information you should just be getting.

Pros: Simple to use Quicker to complete payroll than how it used to be done before we got Kronos Support has a quick response to issues

Cons: The more advanced stuff is not intuitive. Voiding a check is unnecessarily complicated Some set-up stuff was not done to our expectations. Nothing major, but just some preference type stuff Our accruals still do not seem to be working properly.

Comments: Some times it takes Customer Service too long to respond to an issue. The ACA feature is less than desirable.

Pros: Like having HR & Payroll in a combined system. The alert feature is very beneficial to have so you don't forget specific payroll issues

Cons: The benefit structure leaves much to be desired since you have to go back and forth so much. The employee enrollment is not user friendly at all.

Comments: Definitely worth the investment, easy to learn, and gives you lots of options.

Pros: Kronos provides a mobile log in feature. The app has a map feature that shows where your employee is logging in from. You can view all your employees information with one click. You can also customize reports to show you the data you are interested in.

Cons: The one negative feature I've encountered, is when an employee needs to make a change to their punch in/out or their time off requests, the approval process has too many steps.

Comments: Able to customize to your needs, but a more out of the box system is easier to implement.

Pros: Able to handle all aspects of HR. Timekeeping system is easy to use, handles all of our PTO types and schedules.

Cons: Training and education on products and features. Would like to have more classes available before implementation. Just because you helped build the system doesn't mean you understand situations you run into on a daily basis.

Pros: I would highly recommend this product. There are a lot of HR systems to choose from but this is one of the easiest I have used. Everyone I have interacted with at Kronos has been very helpful and very friendly! I love the consolidation of information in this program. Everything that you need to know about an employee is in one spot. This was quite the change for our company - we used to have information in various places. Now, by logging into Kronos, I can easily find everything I need. I also enjoy the easy-to-use and easy-to-understand HELP feature.

Pros: Easy to work with easy to understand process and lots of support. all information was right there so that one could get figures needed when needed. speaking of information, there was a lot of information available on each employee.

Cons: sometimes logging in was difficult first thing in the day. It would spin for long periods of time of course it could of been the internet connection

Comments: We had an unusually long set up/transition to Kronos that has been delightful as well as challenging. Having been live for just over a year, we are still finding new and exciting ways that Workforce Ready is positively benefiting our company. Thanks!

Pros: Kronos workforce Ready is so much more advanced than our previous dinosaur system. The possibilities for improvement in functionality are very positive. A majority of the support team are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with.

Cons: There are still many common sense glitches to be corrected/updated. While I do like the Kronos community, certain problems with functionality should be directly prioritized without the recommended submission for review in the community. Ex. the ability for a life insurance beneficiary to be updated at any time.

I have been working with KRONOS about a year now (new to the company) and I have found it easy to learn.

Comments: I have been fortunate to be able do some hands on training for supervisors and really loved it.

Comments: Implementation was easy and our team was great! Solid support and quick responses from Global Support Team.

Pros: The system is so easy to navigate and to learn as you go. Reporting capabilities are fantastic! Global Support team has been great to work with.

Cons: Benefits module has room to grow - limited features include system not being capable of pro-rating benefits, each benefit plan needs to have a COBRA plan (where applicable) associated with it and that COBRA plan needs to be elected on behalf of the employee in order to send the COBRA info on the EDI correctly versus simply sending the current plans an employee has at the time of termination to the COBRA carrier. It is A LOT of extra, unnecessary work!

Kronos has simplified my day to day work, reduced the time required and reduced reporting errors from day one.

Comments: I really like Kronos, I would say it is my favorite operating system I have used so far.

Pros: The all in one aspect of Kronos is my favorite thing, it's all in one package. Having the ability to generate endless reports is so very helpful.

Cons: I wish that when running reports you didn't have to expand the search query almost every time. The max may run from 50 to 200 but the original return shows the minimum, say from 10 to 20. I end up expanding almost every report I run. I would like it if they just opened with the max. I think it would save time.

Pros: I liked the time caps it gave and the layout of the timesheets. I was able to navigate my specific time count easily and make changes if necessary with ease.

Cons: I didn't really like the tabs; I could easily assume that certain features were under many tabs. I wish it were more specific but I assume that could be adjusted if needed. I used the software at a company I worked for so I didn't have the ability to change that feature.

Pros: Really like that the software can do so much. For our firm, we could make it do everything we wanted. The applicant tracking system, searches, resume handling are all really strong and work well. Really pleased that one software can do all Kronos can do.

The TLM consultant made an error that overpaid employees and cost us thousands of dollars. 3 different HR consultants. No knowledge overlap between the modules. Would get bandied back and forth between TLM and HR consultant, instead of having one solid resource

Pros: Fairly intuitive, having dedicated support during implementation is helpful. Once the system is up and running the general functions work well

Cons: report writing is terrible, no ATS, system set up does not make sense in many cases, system too slow for the size of my organization

Comments: We are presently involved with Kronos in a billing dispute that has been going on for nearly 2 months so far with no resolution. They had a software glitch which overcharged us and they have been extremely slow in rectifying their error and providing the proper amount of credit. We have asked them several times to address the issue and we are not satisfied with their response. To say that it is disappointing is putting it mildly.

Pros: Kronos has a great conversion process and it is a full function payroll/human resources program. It has all the bells and whistles we wanted and that we didn't have with our existing ADP software plus it allowed us to do our own inputting and payroll preparation. Those were the things that sold us on Kronos.

Cons: Their general ledger interface was very cumbersome for us due to the complexity of our various types of pay systems. Their system is based upon a cost center approach and works well IF you don't have employees are receiving pay from multiple cost centers or have more than one basis of pay. If you want to do cost splitting be prepared to do it by percentage rather than fixed dollar amounts to various general accounts.

Comments: Over all I like this.

Pros: What I really like about this software is that it is easy to use and understand. I have to take direction from my Manager but for the most part this is a useful program.

Cons: What I don't like about this software is that the regular user has to always stop and ask the Manger for permission to access something in the software. There's always a secret password or number.

Pros: pretty simple to use, customer service experiences have been good, reports are easy to build and I like that you can send reports out to other users.

Cons: the site is a little jumpy, when you move from the summary tab to the timesheet tab, it goes directly to the bottom of the page so you have to go back to the top every time.

Pros: Scheduling and processing of time cards. This has worked very well for our company, keeping people honest and accountable with their schedules set up.

Cons: The back button doesn't work with all the fields that are available. Also that it times out to quickly requiring another login. This drives me crazy because I can't just jump in and out quickly.

Moved us into the 21st century.

Comments: Kronos Community has been very helpful and the response I get when I open a case is very good.

Pros: Removing our IT Dept for updates and reporting; getting updates automatically. The ability to create reports and export them easily is also a plus.

Cons: Accruals - very cumbersome and not user friendly from an admin perspective. It is difficult to make changes to employee accruals.

Pros: Universal system that has legacy in the market. They have a strong reputation and know their way around HR platforms. Managers and help desk associates are attentive and they do have a process for escalation.

Cons: Kronos is trying to get to the cloud and has bolted on products. Support is a struggle for any legacy products.

Pros: Kronos system have many attributes that I believe is helpful one that comes to mind is the fact that it¿s easy for all users.

Cons: Using the system as a ATS - I found that setting up work flows was highly difficult and the webinar was hard to follow (different user at different level so stop and start and answering questions during the presentation made it hard to follow).

Pros: Reporting functionality is great, as well customazition. I also like that system could be used modularly, they don't tie to using payroll.

Cons: End user experience needs some work from the HR standpoint. Things like onboarding and benefits enrollment could be made better for the end user.

Pros: Ease of use; cloud based program - data is available from any log on; multiple reports available to use for various needs.

Cons: Multi-factor authentication for those customers who only use the timekeeping software has really limited our employees from using the software. We dont keep private information in our records for Kronos and if the employer could "opt" to use the multi-factor authentication that would increase our employee's usage and ability to take care of their own needs. Instead, payroll is having to take of their needs because they have difficulty logging in.

Pros: Great reporting tools, You can quickly specialize reports based on different business needs. You can quickly set up semi and bi-weekly payrolls.

Cons: Customer Support can be challenging to reach. When you have deadlines for payrolls and need someone right away.

Pros: Was easy to setup with our systems and got rid of our paper time sheets, allowing for simplification for employees. Easy for all employees to use, regardless of their computer knowledge or background. Simple for managers and supervisors to see what they need.

Cons: Training could be better, especially for small companies working with limited resources and time towards implementation

Comments: Overall Kronos is a good HRIS solution. I would recommend that your implementation team spend more time on educated users rather then blasting through the set up process with little or no explanation of what they are doing and why.

Pros: Kronos is very user friendly; easy for employees with little or no computer knowledge to navigate. My favorite feature is the reporting tools, running reports is easy and there are a variety of reports that can be pulled.

Cons: The system still has limited capabilities and some features seem to be a work in process. Our biggest complaint has been our lack of a contact from Kronos since we completed our implementation. We would like to use Scheduler and the new recruiting program but we are unable to get a dedicated team member to assist us.

Pros: Implementation so that more supervisors and managers can work within it. We started entering employees' schedules and it's been a useful tool. The reporting capability is more user-friendly and we have enjoyed using it. It's been a favorable experience.

Cons: It won't do some things that Workforce Central did. Some supervisors had considerable trouble adjusting to the new system. Initial implementation was quite a lengthy process with what seemed like excessive phone conferences and some miscommunications.

Pros: Love the fact all the evaluations are done electronically and do not need to make copies of everything. Very helpful.

Cons: To many steps to get to the employees profile. I wish they could be less steps so you don't have to go many times same way.

Comments: Continue to improve the system and we will be long term customers!

Pros: The use of the system and reporting functionality are pretty easy to learn. Benefits setup is really nice and I am eager to see how ACA works for 2017. Our implementation specialists have been pretty good and attentive. I like how you get the same support specialists repeatedly as they begin to understand your company and can relate to ongoing issues you have.

Cons: The wait time on some cases is not always the greatest. I wish there was more functionality with the custom columns with reporting and also creating one line reports for payroll purposes. Some features are not as diverse as we expected such as the HR action items, no option to print if you use electronic option.

Pros: payroll is easy to do with the set up, step by step procedures is awesome ( you can't check off a box if there is errors or you have not completed the steps)

Comments: This system is great for the everyday company. It does have some limitations with complex calculations and reporting across multiple locations/EIN's.

Comments: The payroll process still goes much smoother and faster with kronos.

Pros: No longer have to fill out and turn in paper time sheets. Its very easy to use for all level employees.

Cons: At the end of every week it takes about 6 hours to punch in and key all missed punches from employees

Pros: We appreciate the web based option for Kronos to allow our remote workforce to access timecards, time off requests, and pay stubs from their locations.

Cons: The password authentication is difficult for some staff to remember. If they haven't logged in recently having to remember passwords is a challenge for those who don't often use technology.

Comments: Overall great product. It is user friendly and they have a great support team. The only thing I wish they offered was additional onsite training past the initial setup.

Pros: If any issues arise, they have a wonderful Customer Service team to help. They are knowledgeable and are quick to respond.

Cons: After the initial setup and training, any additional training is offered only online. I took over the HR position about 6 months after implementation so I had to figure a lot on my own since the previous HR person was not available to train.

Pros: I like that reports are automatically saved and are easy to navigate to rerun. I also like the multiple download options to excel or pdf.

Cons: Creating reports and modifying existing setups can be difficult. It would be helpful to have better training or How to details within the system. Also, we have experienced issues with retro updates. If we make a change to a setup, ie change Holiday to count towards overtime, we would expect this change to only impact future payrolls however if we open a previously closed period to modify notes or correct a punch details then the new rule will override previous rules and the timesheet will recalculate. I would love to have a test environment.

Pros: The feature I appreciate the most is the ability to request time-off via the timeclock which has streamlined the process for us in addition to eliminating unnecessary paperwork.

Cons: Reporting capabilities I find very cumbersome. The timesheet view is also very busy and I actually miss timekeeper central in that respect.

Pros: There are a lot of options to configure pay policies and accrual rules. The Mobile App is user friendly. Customization of different window views is helpful and makes looking at real time data easier.

Cons: Lack of customization for timecard view and what data elements appear for employees vs. managers. Reading accruals is very challenging for the employee. It is hard for them to understand how much PTO time they have available.

Pros: I like all the options you have with workforce ready. I have used a different platform of Kronos and it wasn't as user friendly. I like the reporting capability as well.

Cons: I wish the training material was more updated. I find it a bit hard to find exactly what I am looking for. I also wish we were notified when updates happened and what exactly it effected.

Comments: I would recommend that system building and training not be done as one process. But as 2 separate processing.

Pros: I like the basic time tracking the timesheet is easy to read I like the basic attendance tracking on the personnel panel

Cons: nothing we have is basic After the fact we know we needed more help setting are system so that all our different time & attendance setups would work better together

Pros: I like the mass edit options and the batch uploads. The Ready system is user friendly and easy to work with.

Cons: Customer support is not easy to come by. Once I put in a case, it usually takes days before I get a reply.

Pros: the fact that it's paperless and i can access it anywhere with a decent wifi connection. Also, it combines many portions of HR that before we'd had to maintain in separate spreadsheets.

Cons: still can't use the performance review function - notes from all three reviewers are visible and that doesn't work for our company. Need something to limit the employee documents or filter them on the employee's profile

Comments: Get a larger customer support team. Immediate help should be given for technical issues. Not days later.

Pros: The customization options for your individual company are vast. You can build the software to suit your needs if you can figure out how the complicated menus work.

Cons: Customer support is NOT immediate and requires a call back at a later date at their convenience. Certain issues require immediate attention and to be told you will receive a cal back the next day can make the difference of employees being paid on time or not. IMMEDIATE RESPONSE NEEDED
