Comments: Kronos Community has been very helpful and the response I get when I open a case is very good.

Pros: Removing our IT Dept for updates and reporting; getting updates automatically. The ability to create reports and export them easily is also a plus.

Cons: Accruals - very cumbersome and not user friendly from an admin perspective. It is difficult to make changes to employee accruals.

Pros: Universal system that has legacy in the market. They have a strong reputation and know their way around HR platforms. Managers and help desk associates are attentive and they do have a process for escalation.

Cons: Kronos is trying to get to the cloud and has bolted on products. Support is a struggle for any legacy products.

Pros: Kronos system have many attributes that I believe is helpful one that comes to mind is the fact that it¿s easy for all users.

Cons: Using the system as a ATS - I found that setting up work flows was highly difficult and the webinar was hard to follow (different user at different level so stop and start and answering questions during the presentation made it hard to follow).

Kronos has great functionality overall from an administrative perspective.

Pros: Reporting functionality is great, as well customazition. I also like that system could be used modularly, they don't tie to using payroll.

Cons: End user experience needs some work from the HR standpoint. Things like onboarding and benefits enrollment could be made better for the end user.

Pros: Ease of use; cloud based program - data is available from any log on; multiple reports available to use for various needs.

Cons: Multi-factor authentication for those customers who only use the timekeeping software has really limited our employees from using the software. We dont keep private information in our records for Kronos and if the employer could "opt" to use the multi-factor authentication that would increase our employee's usage and ability to take care of their own needs. Instead, payroll is having to take of their needs because they have difficulty logging in.

Pros: Great reporting tools, You can quickly specialize reports based on different business needs. You can quickly set up semi and bi-weekly payrolls.

Cons: Customer Support can be challenging to reach. When you have deadlines for payrolls and need someone right away.

Pros: Was easy to setup with our systems and got rid of our paper time sheets, allowing for simplification for employees. Easy for all employees to use, regardless of their computer knowledge or background. Simple for managers and supervisors to see what they need.

Cons: Training could be better, especially for small companies working with limited resources and time towards implementation

Comments: Overall Kronos is a good HRIS solution. I would recommend that your implementation team spend more time on educated users rather then blasting through the set up process with little or no explanation of what they are doing and why.

Pros: Kronos is very user friendly; easy for employees with little or no computer knowledge to navigate. My favorite feature is the reporting tools, running reports is easy and there are a variety of reports that can be pulled.

Cons: The system still has limited capabilities and some features seem to be a work in process. Our biggest complaint has been our lack of a contact from Kronos since we completed our implementation. We would like to use Scheduler and the new recruiting program but we are unable to get a dedicated team member to assist us.

Pros: Implementation so that more supervisors and managers can work within it. We started entering employees' schedules and it's been a useful tool. The reporting capability is more user-friendly and we have enjoyed using it. It's been a favorable experience.

Cons: It won't do some things that Workforce Central did. Some supervisors had considerable trouble adjusting to the new system. Initial implementation was quite a lengthy process with what seemed like excessive phone conferences and some miscommunications.

Overall it helps to record all the employees information. It makes it easy to track some information that is already there.

Pros: Love the fact all the evaluations are done electronically and do not need to make copies of everything. Very helpful.

Cons: To many steps to get to the employees profile. I wish they could be less steps so you don't have to go many times same way.

Comments: Continue to improve the system and we will be long term customers!

Pros: The use of the system and reporting functionality are pretty easy to learn. Benefits setup is really nice and I am eager to see how ACA works for 2017. Our implementation specialists have been pretty good and attentive. I like how you get the same support specialists repeatedly as they begin to understand your company and can relate to ongoing issues you have.

Cons: The wait time on some cases is not always the greatest. I wish there was more functionality with the custom columns with reporting and also creating one line reports for payroll purposes. Some features are not as diverse as we expected such as the HR action items, no option to print if you use electronic option.

Pros: payroll is easy to do with the set up, step by step procedures is awesome ( you can't check off a box if there is errors or you have not completed the steps)

Comments: This system is great for the everyday company. It does have some limitations with complex calculations and reporting across multiple locations/EIN's.

Pros: All in one system - Time, Payroll, HR, Benefits, Recruiting Ease of use for employees - mobile app is good! Fairly flexible

Cons: System has some limitations with calculations Performance review module is very basic Sometimes slow

Comments: The payroll process still goes much smoother and faster with kronos.

Pros: No longer have to fill out and turn in paper time sheets. Its very easy to use for all level employees.

Cons: At the end of every week it takes about 6 hours to punch in and key all missed punches from employees

Pros: We appreciate the web based option for Kronos to allow our remote workforce to access timecards, time off requests, and pay stubs from their locations.

Cons: The password authentication is difficult for some staff to remember. If they haven't logged in recently having to remember passwords is a challenge for those who don't often use technology.

Comments: Overall great product. It is user friendly and they have a great support team. The only thing I wish they offered was additional onsite training past the initial setup.

Pros: If any issues arise, they have a wonderful Customer Service team to help. They are knowledgeable and are quick to respond.

Cons: After the initial setup and training, any additional training is offered only online. I took over the HR position about 6 months after implementation so I had to figure a lot on my own since the previous HR person was not available to train.

Pros: I like that reports are automatically saved and are easy to navigate to rerun. I also like the multiple download options to excel or pdf.

Cons: Creating reports and modifying existing setups can be difficult. It would be helpful to have better training or How to details within the system. Also, we have experienced issues with retro updates. If we make a change to a setup, ie change Holiday to count towards overtime, we would expect this change to only impact future payrolls however if we open a previously closed period to modify notes or correct a punch details then the new rule will override previous rules and the timesheet will recalculate. I would love to have a test environment.

Pros: The feature I appreciate the most is the ability to request time-off via the timeclock which has streamlined the process for us in addition to eliminating unnecessary paperwork.

Cons: Reporting capabilities I find very cumbersome. The timesheet view is also very busy and I actually miss timekeeper central in that respect.

Pros: There are a lot of options to configure pay policies and accrual rules. The Mobile App is user friendly. Customization of different window views is helpful and makes looking at real time data easier.

Cons: Lack of customization for timecard view and what data elements appear for employees vs. managers. Reading accruals is very challenging for the employee. It is hard for them to understand how much PTO time they have available.

Pros: I like all the options you have with workforce ready. I have used a different platform of Kronos and it wasn't as user friendly. I like the reporting capability as well.

Cons: I wish the training material was more updated. I find it a bit hard to find exactly what I am looking for. I also wish we were notified when updates happened and what exactly it effected.

Comments: I would recommend that system building and training not be done as one process. But as 2 separate processing.

Pros: I like the basic time tracking the timesheet is easy to read I like the basic attendance tracking on the personnel panel

Cons: nothing we have is basic After the fact we know we needed more help setting are system so that all our different time & attendance setups would work better together

Pros: I like the mass edit options and the batch uploads. The Ready system is user friendly and easy to work with.

Pros: the fact that it's paperless and i can access it anywhere with a decent wifi connection. Also, it combines many portions of HR that before we'd had to maintain in separate spreadsheets.

Cons: still can't use the performance review function - notes from all three reviewers are visible and that doesn't work for our company. Need something to limit the employee documents or filter them on the employee's profile

Comments: Get a larger customer support team. Immediate help should be given for technical issues. Not days later.

Pros: The customization options for your individual company are vast. You can build the software to suit your needs if you can figure out how the complicated menus work.

Cons: Customer support is NOT immediate and requires a call back at a later date at their convenience. Certain issues require immediate attention and to be told you will receive a cal back the next day can make the difference of employees being paid on time or not. IMMEDIATE RESPONSE NEEDED

Comments: Overall great product, went from a manual system to this was life changing!

Pros: The software offers many modules that cover all areas of payroll and human resources. It also is easy to train staff how to use it.

Cons: Some reports and set up areas can be difficult to navigate. It can also be difficult to find information or training on how to set up certain things.

Pros: Everything I need is in one software: recruiting, onboarding, benefits, payroll, performance reviews and offboarding. The employee and manager self-service components are the main reason we switched software and there are no regrets after two years of using Workforce Ready.

Cons: If you are a small HR department, the set-up time might be longer than expected because you have to balance implementation with getting your regular job done.

Comments: Not only is the payroll system a well oiled machine, the HR module turned out to be better than we could have hoped for or expect. So much of the manual tasks that either Payroll or HR would perform are now automated. Kronos has really been a blessing and the price for a product of this quality is incomparable to other products on the market (which were thoroughly researched before deciding on Kronos).

Pros: My duties have come down to literally pushing a few buttons to generate a bi-weekly payroll for 200 hospital workers. The reporting functions are endless, in addition to the already prepared reports within the system, it is extremely easy to build your own and have the exact information you want to see on a report. I am able to do the quarterly reports in about 10 minutes (including submission to the various entities). The customer support is phenomenal. If you've ever had tech support that the rep didn't really understand the problem or their job and tried to correct your system only to find it become even worse, you will really appreciate Kronos support. I have yet to be let down, they are very personable, intelligent and an expert in the field to which your question is based. I really can't say enough wonderful things about Kronos functionality and support.

Comments: Overall a great system

Pros: Kronos is a solid powerful system. All applications in one including recruitment, payroll, performance reviews, time management. Single employee record sharing across applications.

Cons: Difficult learning the system and finding help. It would be nice to help (definition) on the specific field instead of trying to find it. Performance reviews and workflows are difficult to use

Pros: Employee record maintenance is quite simple as is timekeeping and timesheet management. Vacation tracking is also very simple to use.

Cons: Reporting is too complicated. Extracting data that Kronos is collecting should be more user friendly. I also wish that there were more HR functions available. For example, I formerly worked for a large corporation who used Luas & Clark. Not only did it keep time, but it allowed us to keep employee records (coaching/counselling etc.) besides just attendance in one place that was accessible to those who needed access.

Pros: Software is powerful and customizable. I like the timesheets, recruitment and hr piece of the software.

Cons: Some features could use improvements such as performance reviews and workflows. I also feel like your documentation could use some work. I tend not to find the documentation useful.

Pros: We have to give users little instruction to use it. They have no problems. The administration is easy for the administrative users.

Cons: Some of the technical configuration is difficult. It is hard to achieve some of our requirements through the existing configuration. As a result, we have to built custom applications in our HR systems to accommodate this.

Pros: I really like the data that Kronos is able to pull. The analytics is what keeps me happy since I pull reports for HR uses.

Cons: Sick/Time off was a little confusing to use at first. But creating one, the learning curve was not bad.

Pros: The ability to pull and save different reports. Able to review hours in multiple ways. Easy to edit employees, punches, entries. Instant view of employee's clock in/out. Can go back to previous weeks easily.

Cons: There isn't anything I did not like about the program the only problem I sometimes had was getting locked out of account.

Pros: We're able to upload and disseminate important information to our entire workforce from one platform is a huge plus!

Pros: Ease of use. Most managers like the ability to pull reports and after getting use to the accrual system it tracks time off effectively.

Cons: Customer Service and limited customization to meet company needs. Discovered a couple issues after implementation that should have been covered during implementation.

Pros: We like that it is a complete solution software, you do not have to have different vendors to complete tasks.

Cons: We were disappointed with the performance management and compensation modules. It can not conform or be customized to our way of business. Would like to see more reporting capabilities. Sometimes the turn around time on open cases is slow.

Comments: Overall the program is very good but there is still room for improvement

Pros: document storage, web based, customer support, custom forms, tracking and reports, timekeeping rules are flexible and easily set, announcement feature

Cons: checklists and workflows are too complicated, security settings for users require staff to have access to cellphone or email, no way for employees to sign incidents, mobile app needs improving for manager use

Comments: The support overall is good but it takes too long to get to the people with knowledge. I wish the ticket process were streamlined to send the more technical and difficult tickets directly to the next level.

Pros: Flexibility in implementing modules. I like that it is not a buy one get all. You can use the feature as you want and turn on others later on as well as purchase other pieces as add ons.

Cons: The performance review module is week and not tied to goals. The compensation module is very disorganized and creates too many lines of data for each single transaction causing a lot of manual clean up on a regular basis. The applicant module is not flexible enough.

Comments: I would highly recommend the product, payroll and scheduling have become a breeze since implementing.

Pros: Very user friendly, robust, and works great for having several offices across the country being on one system.

Cons: Sometimes service requests take extra long to get back when it's a complicated issue. FMLA tracking is quite expensive.

Comments: I had a great Implementation Person that made this huge transition for our company so much easier; without him I would have been lost! He took the time and really walked me through everything to make sure I understood the product completely.

Pros: Kronos Workforce Ready is easy to learn and navigate which makes it easier for me to teach coworkers how to use it! I also really love the Technical Support team they are always quick to get back to me whatever the issue at hand may be.

Cons: I love Kronos Workforce Ready it makes my job so much easier to use however, it is very expensive and I wish they charged per employee not by a rounded number.

Cons: We have a Night Premium that we have to manually recode before reprocessing payroll. Same for 6th day pay we have to process the calculation outside of kronos.

Pros: it is convenient to have all employee information in one spot. Open enrollment for our benefits is easy with Kronos.

Cons: Once you have left the implementation stage it is very difficult to get a quick response if you need t o make adjustments or changes to your settings.

Pros: It was an easy to system to train employees on and easy for most people to understand how to use the system.

Cons: One of the main cons of Kronos is the reporting system. I think it was difficult to use. Unless I had the report set up by Kronos it was difficult to set up.

Overall: I think my biggest benefit from Kronos was being able to track time and attendance. My previous system did not do that so it was a great benefit and time saver for the system to do this for me.

Pros: This software has a great app that works on cell phones. It makes clocking in and out for employees extremely easy and convenient.

Cons: The only con to his software is that sometimes the app freezes. It doesn't happen often but when it does its inconvenient. The upside to this is that when you reach out to customer service the issue is quickly resolved.

Comments: This is a good program for our purposes, and it is used by accounting and HR. I can't comment for accounting, but HR is making good use of the program.

Pros: After training (and retraining,) I am able to maneuver through the program easily. It's good to be able to adjust the company settings so that some fields are auto filled, such as our benefits guidelines. Reports are easy to customize, although I need more practice because I only run them infrequently. It's good to be able to save reports for ease of running them the next time. Easy to download to excel for further customizing the reports. I have admin access, so I am able to get whatever information I need quickly, without being blocked. I am in the program many times throughout the day. It's easy to manage my own time and requests for time off as well, both for myself and on behalf of others (when they forget!) The benefits feature and ability to get copies of W-2's and other forms both for myself and employees is a good one. The amount of information on each employee is very thorough. There are times we have layoffs, and then recalls, so it is easy to REHIRE the employees, with their previous information already loaded.

Cons: I find it somewhat cumbersome when hiring a new employee, but again, the company settings make it easier. When running reports, I sometimes struggle with finding the right fields to add, especially when it has to do with the accounting features, but I have an excellent "go-to" person in accounting that assists! Again, that is usually due to the infrequency of running those types of reports. When rehiring employees, we found that some of the information was not prefilling, but with some adjustments in the company settings, (after trial by fire) it seems to be working correctly.

Comments: This is the first cloud system we are using. After having Oracle E Business Suite for more than 10 years, I like the simplicity of Workforce Ready. We hope that the new upgrade coming in August will be a great improvement and reduce our Cons.

Pros: Easy to use. Easy to create reports. Works well in most areas. No need to have pre-printed checks.

Cons: Does not keep the history of changes. Does not have a TEST feature. No retro pay calculation. The change in pay rate in the middle of a pay period applies to the whole period, for exempt and non-exempt employees. Does not re-calculate regular rate of pay to add the additional overtime premium when nondiscretionary bonus is paid for current or past pay periods.

Pros: I like that it's easy to understand and fairly easy to explain to employees on how to use it. It seems like a pretty good product for simple and complex pay rules.

Cons: I don't like that a few of the reports do not have the same options to choose from, example I use the Calulated Time Summary and the Meal Premium Report to gather the information of what day a California meal penatly was received for a particular employee and who rightfully did not waive it, answered no instead of yes. Neither report shows the other information.

Cons: confusing welcome/implementation instructions. Welcome team tells you to gather your info to get ready for implementation. Implementation team then told us what we had was not usable. Waste of our time getting ready.

Comments: The project roll out was rough and left us needing to open countless cases with customer support to resolve the issues. This also caused more problems, however, because customer support seemed new to the system as well and often didn't know how to resolve issues. Or, if they did resolve it, their changes in the system created new problems. We continue to struggle with the system to this day and have essentially given up the hope it will ever work the way we need it to. We are back to tracking accruals and absences in spreadsheets outside of the system as we can't trust the data in Kronos

Pros: The sales pitch was great in that you can have accruals, absence management, time off request, etc for one price whereas with WFC we had to pay a large amount for each add on

Cons: This system is designed to work in a "perfect world" situation and fails with the intricacy's and shortcomings of manufacturing and multiple time keepers with varying amounts of discipline when it comes to time card management.

Pros: We are a multi company organization and the fact that all employees are in the same database is very helpful and fast for us on running reports. Kronos is user friendly for us admins.

Cons: The VCA- it does cause problems for us and our work force as not all of them are tech savvy. Also, we don't like that you use an email address when completing an application at our kiosk- again, not all our work force as email and we are forced to make one up.

Pros: It's easy to use, like that you can code multiply employees at one time. Exception reports make it easy for deductions with our bonus program.

Cons: Some codes don't show on an exceptions report. If you code someone unexcused for a partial day where they leave early it doesn't show up on exceptions report.

Pros: Web based so I can access anywhere/anytime, user friendly, good report options, strong security, better payroll functioning capabilities than our previous system.

Cons: Repeat logins, requiring some info to perform certain functions but it's not required when setting up an employee, double entry on different screens, does not give a warning that an employee is not going to get a check when performing payroll, turns off benefit automatically without warning when an employee's hours drop below a certain point.

Comments: We implemented and went live 1/1/2017 with Time and Attendance and Scheduler. The Scheduler had so many features missing on 1/1/17, we had to postpone implementation until the 4/1/17 release date. Every time we ask a functionality question, the answer is "That's a good idea, maybe we can incorporate that in a later release." Not necessarily a good response, when someone is paying you to use software and your question is something you said it could do in the demo. The 3 months worth of credit for our billing I have yet to see applied to our account. And there are the time clocks, well 5 months in and I am working on getting my third one to see if it will work correctly. First one we bought was compatible with barcodes. We purchased barcodes from a Kronos recommended supplier to fine out they were not compatible with the new clocks. When told we should have sent them in to be tested, I had the response "but we bought them where you told us to buy them." Then, we sent our proximity badges in for evaluation to change from a barcode scanner clock to a proximity badge scanner. Almost a month to get the test results that they worked with the clock, another month to get a correct order form to sign, then 3 weeks to ship to us all to find out Kronos ordered us the incorrect time clock reader. So I am almost 3 months into a process that has been a huge waste of my teams time. We use a small portion of this product and will think twice before we ever expand it.

Pros: I like the core of the product line, the Time and Attendance module. It is easy to use and the self service is easy for employees to understand. Our consulting team doing the implementation has been great to work with.

Cons: Customer Service with this product has been huge disappointment. Tech Support has been even worse. And don't plan to get a response on anything unless you contact them with a follow-up.

Comments: Customer support was a letdown. Our "specialist" was in another county and it was hard to understand him and he had a hard time understanding our questions as well.

Pros: Workforce Ready has some great features such as being able to clock in and out remotely via smartphone, reviewing schedules and time via smartphone or computer and on-site with the kiosk. The fingerprint clock in is great- it keeps employees honest!

Cons: I miss the feature of employees being able to review their entire pay week on the clock - this isn't available online or via smartphone for employees either, which results in employees requesting a lot of printouts.

Comments: Overall I am really glad we switched over to WFR from WFC, it has made my job much easier as well as allowing new functionality that was not there before. Not having to wait on our internal Database Manager to update patches is nice, Kronos takes care of all that now. We have been on WFR a little over a year now and have been very happy with the product.

Pros: The reporting is much improved over Workforce Central with so much flexibility to customize reports. Love the ability to customize views for end users and the overall functionality to customize the program the way we need to use Kronos for our business without needing a lot of additional programming costs.

Cons: Response times are a bit slower than on Workforce Central but nothing that has caused business interruptions. There are some fields that are not options in some reports that I wish were there but we have found workarounds.

Pros: Lots of reporting options available, and not just for administrators. Our managers love all the reports they have available, and how customizable they are. We have had good response times from support.

Cons: Some of the change requests are confusing in the way they are worded. For example, when modifying a punch the times show "From" and "To" implying that you should enter the new time in the "to" box, when actually the "From" is the in punch and the "To" is the out punch. Nowhere else in the system are "From" and "To" used in this manner. Also, as an administrator, it would be nice if the pending requests could be sorted by date.

Pros: Overall, Kronos is a software that allows for many different functions. My organization generates almost all of our HR reports from the information contained within the software and we also use it for timekeeping and payroll.

Cons: From my perspective, the biggest con I have with Kronos is that the system is not very easy to navigate and it needs to be modernized to stay up with the times as far as providing a welcoming experience for users.

Comments: I love that every Human Resource function from interviewing to retirement can be done in one system. Every corporate document is within the system. The ease in which it allows us to perform Open Enrollment. The ACA reporting module is amazing. The best payroll system I have ever used. The implementation team does and excellent job training and setting up each module so that it functions exactly how you need it to.

Pros: I love how easy the payroll is processed. The ability to have all our time entries flow into payroll without issues is such a huge time saver. The continuous improvements and enhancements that Workforce Ready makes.

Cons: I least like the BSI module that is used for tax reporting. It is very difficult to use. It is a clunky system and does not make sense when trying maneuver through the software.

Pros: Very easy to use. User interface is comfortable. The reporting is easy. Essentially every screen you view is a report and you can export it to just about any format you need. It covers all the bases for HRIS and Payroll software.

Cons: As a SAAS product it's not always easy to get to the hidden data you want. If I had access to the database we could get everything we want to report on and create our own reports and dashboards.

Comments: I'm pretty new to the HR Software world but i do think there are good and bad features about Kronos. Overall, the staff is very helpful when it comes to questions on the system. I do think the look is a little bulky and there are a lot of fields to navigate through. I haven't used the Kronos Community too much yet but did attend KronosWorks and think there's potential for the software to improve on customization.

Pros: I really like the search feature within the software and also that you can make every screen a different report but switching out columns, etc.

Cons: Least is also the reporting tool and not being able to run reports for a specific point in time. It's also difficult to set filters and add totals within the report. I'd also like to see the onboarding improve in appearance.

Comments: We recently transitioned from a finance-based database to Kronos for the timekeeping and HR reporting features. As a multi-EIN company, we needed all of our data under one "roof", and Kronos WFR has provided just that. We quickly realized the benefits of this robust system and decided to not only adopt TLM and HR, but Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, Accruals, and some of the Marketplace add-on features. This software will enable us to streamline processes and share a single platform across dozens of locations in different states.

Pros: Customization, Reporting, Employee Self-Service, time saving, process streamlining.

Cons: Some challenges with integrating with external payroll platform (Great Plains). Resolved by purchasing the WFR Payroll module, which proved much more flexible and time saving for our payroll department.

Comments: Kronos is a great product, but it is a very complex system that requires experienced module leads for the build out and implementation of the product. We wasted four months with inexperienced module leads and had to start all over again from scratch. Once we had experienced module leads we made a lot of progress, but those leads still had very little time for us because they were assigned too many customers. We implemented HR, Timesheets and Payroll, which is a pretty complex implementation. If we had only implemented one of the modules, it would not have been as difficult.

Pros: Kronos has a number of features that work well for our business. We use a lot of work orders for our plant and we were able to import work orders each day and create a search for employees to find them in their timesheets. The integrated system works well once it is set up properly. We have eliminated a number of manual processes with this system. Reporting is very easy to use and our end users are very happy with their ability to create reports.

Cons: The biggest issue with Kronos is the virtual implementation and lack of time that the Kronos implementation team has for each customer. Kronos module leads have too many customers to support, so you only have a few hours of their time each week for the build out. If you have any complexity with your timesheets and payroll, you will need to have experienced module leads. Our implementation took twice as long as planned because we started with inexperienced leads.

Comments: As a new user of Kronos - I have been impressed with the value placed on customer service and community support. Workforce Ready is a newer platform and as with all changes, there are a few glitches; however, the tech support and responsiveness makes you feel as though the system issues are minor and worth it. Every single time we call for assistance, the experience is helpful rather than stressful. Product wise - I love the cloud technology and the community features. One of my favorite features is the export option. When first using the product I kept looking for where to "Run Reports" for basic info - when I realized I could manipulate the columns and then just export the data I was looking at I was thrilled. It isn't complicated, doesn't require that I run a bunch of numbers - I just pick what I want to know at that moment & export the file. Then I can easily sort/filter the excel data as needed. I also appreciate the ability to search by multiple details - other platforms require the last name only, but WFR let's me search by multiple features - including the exact name or "starts with". I still have a lot to learn about the system and am anxious for the upgrades and suggestions to be implemented (like the ability to click back/forth between pages as you move through a file without having to go back to the home page); however, I'm pleased with the product and love the relationship - so as long as the focus stays on technological advances, combined with stellar customer service - Kronos will get my vote at the executive table.

Pros: PEOPLE! Software is available and mostly similar - we have a lot of choices in HRIS/Payroll systems, so how you treat your customers is the most important factor in being better. Kronos has this in spades!!

Cons: Benefit plan set up isn't ideal - I need to be able to put in an effective date AND an enrollment date, as they are not the same thing. If my employees don't elect their benefits before the "waiting period" the "New Enrollment" radio button disappears. An employee's waiting period and eligibility dates do not match their election period. I'd like the opportunity to select the different options.

Comments: Kronos Workforce Ready has lead us in the direction we have been wanting to go with reducing the amount of paper we process in HR and Payroll daily and allowed us to have more efficient, instant communication with our employees. We are utilizing the Onboarding process. We allow employees to make demographic changes and view their payroll data, such as pay statements, as a self-service option. We are beginning the benefits enrollment which will automatically add the payroll deductions to payroll. Our payroll processing has been reduced from 3 days to 1 day. Chasing down lost paperwork that was sent through the mail is no longer an issue. We have recently completed the integration with Workforce Central's Timekeeper.

Pros: Kronos has taken us to the next level in service that we were looking for. It is very easy to use for creating your own reports and importing data. We couldn't be more pleased with how they helped us work through our custom profit sharing allocation.

Cons: There are often updates that we are waiting for to continue what we would like to accomplish with the Kronos software. Although it automates several of our paper process and gave us efficiencies, there are now processes that we need to track manually and audit by hand. The third party tax software is more time-consuming than before. We were breaking ground with integrating the Workforce Central Timekeeper with Workforce Ready. We chose Workforce Central over Workforce Ready Time Labor Management due to the complexity of our work force. If you can use one system, I would recommend Workforce Ready.

Comments: Overall the experience has been awful. I came on board after a very bad implementation. The support, training, and responsiveness have been so poor that for the first time in my life, I received a poor annual review. Everything to the way the product was sold (no, you don't need and HRIS person), to sucktastic implementation team, to thousands of settings and a counter-intuitive interface. We can't get rid of Kronos WFR because senior management doesn't choose to believe it's the fault of horrible implementation and support, so we are moving toward the next best thing, move from a direct client to a service that configure the system and runs the back end of payroll.

Pros: Highly configurable. If we had support and all parts of the configuration reviewed with a fine-tooth comb, it may be possible to even like the system. The ability to have a "living W2" and "living pay statement" is pretty awesome, as are many other features. Too back Kronos does care enough to spend the time to make sure their customers are as success as they are.

Cons: See "Your Review" above. Poor support is the primary problem. Many open tickets for weeks on end. Horrible implementation. We use almost every module...maybe that was the problem. Maybe only time and labor and payroll are truly out of beta.

Comments: Overall we have been happy moving from Workforce Central to Workforce Ready

Pros: Easy to use for admin as well as employees. Self service is very easy to implement Allows employees to review pay statements and print, W2's, review time sheets, request time off, and review their profile Security functions for data access has a variety to set up multiples levels for managers to view employees. Reporting is great, easy to use and create your own reports Ability to have HR, Payroll, T&A, Leave, Benefits, Recruitment and more hosted by Kronos in the cloud No more legislative updates, version updates or consulting fees to do updates. All updates are done for you. Once you understand the configurations of policies it is easy to make adjustments. Tech support is always helpful to make any changes.

Cons: Some features still need development for attendance and leave especially. Functional and can use effectively but could use improvement.

Comments: Great Product. Implementation was challenging but overall we are very happy with the product. It's easy now 2-3 years later to see what we could have done better, but focusing on having a great implementation will help the managers acclimate quickly.

Pros: Reporting & HRIS functionality! Timekeeping and payroll.

Comments: I am still learning the program, but find the ease of use to be incredible. The program is user-friendly and allows our agency to create modules that are unique to our employees. The features and functionality are like no other software. Customer support is courteous and quick. This software has significant value for the amount our agency pays for our programs.

Comments: Kronos is committed to improving WFR and we already see the improvements made since we went live. There were some bumps at the beginning, but Kronos is a company that listens to their clients and helps in anyway they can. Although, the system is still a work in progress, we are in a much better place then we were before Kronos and are happy to have the system in place.

Pros: 1. All in one product that including ATS, HR, payroll, benefits, ACA and reporting. 2. One system, one number for customer support, one community (great customer portal), one company you are working with. 3. Employee Self Service is great! You can grant as much or as little access as you would like to complete actions, access data, benefit enrollment, etc. 4. Kronos Team willingness to set up the system the way you need to in order to accomplish business needs.

Cons: 1. The system is very particular in the way you set up. Ensure you have a good application consultant that understands what your company needs and how they will set this up in your environment. Also, if you chose to bring WFC into the mix, you are dealing with two systems and not one and there is a whole other level of set up you need to consider. 2. No development site. Everything is conducted in live site. 3. Recruitment and onboarding (checklists in general) need to be more flexible. Kronos is working on this and is on road map. We look forward to some improvements. 4. Training in product and training material needs some more work. There is a noticeable difference in training presentation vs. other products (i.e. WFC learning portal vs. WFR offerings). Also, you really will need someone dedicated to learn and understand WFR, as it is very layered. 5. There is not current API offerings, only flat files every 15 minutes can come out of WFR. Kronos is working on adding this capability in near future.

Kronos is a fantastic tool for timekeeping.

Pros: I like that you are able to capture data in real time. This product makes timekeeping more efficient and effective for payroll and reporting. The customer service we've received has been amazing. I've been able to have many things customized to our policies and have utilized the teams help to make many changes.

Cons: While the customer service has been great, there have been a few functions that Kronos could not perform for us. We've adapted the best way that we could though and things are running smoothly.

Comments: Kronos is a tool that our Company is learning as we go, and it is much more we have to learn. But the over all learning process is great ! Once you get it, there is more that will tie into the one thing that you learned about that day. You have to explore and get into the process and you will see that Kronos has a lot to offer. When our company first signed on with kronos we were just using the timekeeping module and later we signed on to use the payroll module, and Wow that opened up a lot of what Kronos can accomplish, We are a company with a lot of different issues that a normal company would not have. But Kronos was able to accommodate us with our needs. They have a great support team (The Application Consultant) (Technical Support team).

Pros: I like the way this product ties in and gives you what you need. You can create any kind of report.

Cons: I am a little disappointed in the timely status of customer service getting back to you when you call or put a ticket in through the kronos community. Sometimes you need to know something at a moments notice and we don't have the option to get that answer right away. I think there should be different levels of customer service techs.

Having payroll, HR, and ACA in one software program is very convenient.

Comments: Kronos has a very good customer support staff. Kronosworks is a wonderful event that we enjoy attending each year.

Pros: The communication between the different instances of HR, Payroll, and ACA allow for more efficient processing and tracking.

Cons: Right now, my only input for improvement would be the HSA calculation adjustments when someone switches from a family plan to a single plan. We currently have to keep them on the family plan and watch the deductions ourselves, otherwise it will take the deduction post-tax.

Comments: I've used Kronos with two of my previous employers. I would say its okay, very technical and requires quite a bit of training. Very similar to ADP there is a lot of functions you have to familiarize yourself with.

Pros: Great capabilities and customizable to your industry

Cons: Its not the cheapest software but if you have the need its definitely worth the cost.

Comments: We are currently using the full suite of Kronos applications and they are working very well for us. It is wonderful to have all systems work together and reduce the chance of creating errors to reenter information

Cons: There is noting I can think of at this time

Recommendations to other buyers: When doing an implementation for healthcare, ensure you have an implementation specialist who has healthcare due to all the nuances with shifts, diffs etc

Comments: My organization started with WFR's HR and TML. Employees, managers and administrators were impressed with the ease of use, the robust amount of information at their finger tips and the reporting capabilities. After a year and a half of using HR and TML, my organization decided to transfer our payroll to WFR as well. Having HR, Time and Labor and Payroll integrated with each other has allowed my HR team to evolve from and administrative department to a strategic business partner.

Pros: I love that employees and managers have virtual personnel files at their fingertips. Through Employee Self Service, employees can access and change their address, beneficiaries, payroll information, enroll online for benefits, request time off and maintain their schedules. Managers can access employment history, process compensation changes, approve timesheets and upload and review current and previous performance reviews. Instead of tracking down information, entering payroll changes and being the timesheet monitor, my team and I can use our knowledge and skills to make our employees and organization better.

Cons: The reporting functions in WFR are robust but each organization has specific reports required by leadership. Enhancing the reporting function for easier report customization would be my only critique.

Recommendations to other buyers: Do not hesitate, choose Kronos. It will make your professional life so much better!

Comments: We implemented KRONOS Workforce Ready in 2015. We have purchased the Payroll, HR, Time and Labor, and ACA package. Our employees are now able to see their vacation and personal time in one place without having to contact HR or Payroll. The system allows transparency for the employees and the managers. They can view their pay statements, their time off, and their benefits all in one place. The mobile application for KRONOS Workforce Ready is very user friendly. Employees can see their pay statements when they are home and they can request off right from their mobile phone. The ease of use is wonderful. Our employees feel more engaged due to the software and so do our managers.

Pros: The mobile application is very user friendly.

Cons: The product is more difficult to use when it comes to transfers of employees between EIN's. There is more manual work involved than we would like for this process.

Recommendations to other buyers: Make sure before implementation that you have your team fully involved from HR, Payroll and Accounting. They should all be on the same page.

Comments: Kronos has been a wonderful improvement over our prior Paychex product. The functionality is awesome.

Pros: Reporting is the best.

Cons: How to documentation. Step by step basic instructions with screen shots would be nice for ACA.

Comments: We switched from Workforce Central to Workforce Ready a few years ago. Mainly because we wanted our employees to use there Mobile devices for Employee Self Service with schedules and verification of times. Moving our time keeping to the cloud made sense so that we internally did not have to focus a lot of attention on hosting and securing the Kronos platform with Employees trying to connect from the outside. Overall, Workforce Ready is a great product, but still does not have all the functionality of Workforce Central. However, I know they are working on getting there.

Comments: Kronos Workforce Ready is an excellent product for us and a definite upgrade over the Workforce Central version we were on. Every software has its shortcomings, but they have been few and far between with WFR. The last KronosWorks conference had plenty of WFR ready classes and a considerable number of users to interact with.

Pros: Customer service has been a strong suit for Kronos regardless of which product you are on. Reporting functionality in WFR is by far the best change from WFC, but also better than any other software we use throughout our company. Since WFR is on the cloud, the continual upgrades are done for us, saving us time and money.

Cons: Implementation left a lot to be desired.

Recommendations to other buyers: Allow yourself plenty of time for the implementation and be overly thorough confirming everything works the way you need it and any data transferred is correct. Don't hesitate to get moved to Global Support near the end because they were able to take care of most of our remaining issues from the implementation. The final product is worth the pains to get there.

Comments: For my organization, the decision was made to migrate from a manual HR and timekeeping system to using Kronos Workforce Ready for HR, timekeeping and payroll. The migration from our old payroll system was tough but once we started using the product, the support got better and better. Kronos has tremendously streamlined our processes and make it easier for remote management of the systems and real-time access to employee records. Customer satisfaction is very important to Kronos, which they make evident in their product support and continuous strive for improvement.

Pros: I love the ability to work remotely using Kronos and to provide certain access to our employees.

Cons: I would love to see a HR management system that is more user friendly for administrators to set up and employ company wide.
