TOMS is a SaaS Order Processing service that has very user-friendly, web-based UI, comprehensive Rest API to support for integrations and automations and a fast database backend.

Pros

TOMS is a solid Order Management System with an efficient, fast data processing database backend which is optimally tuned for speed. The database also has DR protection.

Cons

While TOMS is a great SaaS product, its team continuously incorporate new features that may be lacking and constantly strives to gather user feedback to improve the product.

Our CPG organization's experience with TOMS as a vendor and a system has been nothing short of pleasant. The TOMS leadership and development teams are conscientious, detail oriented and technically skilled, enabling an optimal customer and user experience.

Pros

The Tejas Order Management System has offered our CPG organization the opportunity to streamline and scale our DTC, B2B and eCommerce operations and order management processes. The TOMS system offers flexibility and customization opportunities to compliment our unique business cases, unlike any other competing OMS system out there. The team at Tejas Software is very professional and a joy to work with. They are very customer/client-centric, which can be hard to come by in the world of enterprise software-as-a-service. We are grateful for the partnership and flexibility the Tejas Software team provides, as it enables our CPG business to pilot new eCommerce initiatives and thereby grow our company's revenue.

Cons

There are some minor functionalities and features that the Tejas Order Management System could implement as part of its product feature set. This includes the ability to upload a mass list of customers and product items to create a mass amount of orders at once, as opposed to manually creating each order individually. However, with each feature opportunity and suggestion, the Tejas Software team has been open and willing to analyze each suggested product feature in the interest of enhancing the TOMS system.

TOMS offers the best combination of capabilities and cost in the order management SaaS space. After evaluating numerous providers in the 'Magic Quadrant,' we found that none matched the level of flexibility and service relative to the total cost of ownership. In addition to the masterful design of the order management system’s user interface and data structures, the Tejas Software professional services team consistently delivers timely, creative, and cost-effective custom system integration work to support our evolving business needs.

Pros

TOMS is easy to adopt and highly adaptable to the ever-changing landscape of new channels and markets. Its powerful, flexible, and thoughtfully designed administrative user interface makes it user-friendly, while the rock-solid, consistent data model and data pipeline services ensure reliable performance, data integrity, and data syndication to downstream data warehouse and analysis tools.

Cons

In the past, TOMS had an outdated user interface that was at times inefficient, as it didn’t fully utilize page real estate and often failed to prioritize key information above the fold. However, the recent roll-out of the new interface design has made a significant improvement in end-user information comprehension and usability. It now allows users of all types to easily find critical order-related information at a glance, enhancing the overall user experience.

A solid platform with the best team supporting it! It's a straight-forward product with all the components we need to run our business.

Pros

The team behind the TOMS platform is the best of the best. Fast, supportive, knowledgable, and responsive.

Cons

Existing reporting is great, but we've had some difficulty with custom reports within the platform. We need too much flexibility in reporting. The great news is that all data is exportable so we can do our reporting outside the system.
