Pros: Getting the app started was wonderful. customer service agents were wonderful customer support as we learned how to use it. It was a free introductory with an understanding that as giving increased we would move to a paid plan. We are still in the free plan. One of the most enticing parts of going with them was they commitment to do all the work with Apple and Google.

We are a small church and thrilled to have the help with Aware3 to grow. The features are limited as to what you can do with the app but enough for us to better communicate with those in our church as well as looking for a church. Very easy to use the features offered.

Cons: Apple and Google changes this last year, for updates have reduced the customer support for our app. Updating at our annual renewal has been a 'your on your own with Apple'. It's not characteristic of how Aware3 started with us. Truly disappointing to have to figure this part out on our own. Would like more features, better presentation.

Pros: It's easy to update different elements in your app. Adding notes, updating and adding sign-up links, sending push notifications to users. There are a lot of ways to use these features to reach people at your church and you don't have to be super 'techy' in order to get them to work.

Cons: One of the things I have found to be an issue is the way android phones (I can't confirm the way iPhones work with this) receive the push notifications. If there's more than 10-15 characters in the push, then my android devices just cut off the message so I can't get the full message right away. I will say when you tap on the message you can have the user go to a specific part of your app or go in and read the whole message, but I have other apps that send push notifications and you can swipe down to see the whole message. That would be a great addition to the push notifications feature.

Overall: Any time I've had a problem or a question about a particular part of the app building process, I've reached out via email and Aware3 has always gotten back to me within 24 hours and they are always very helpful and very upfront about what can or cannot be done. They are a great team to work with!

Pros: Aware3 is constantly rolling out new updates to their software. I love how they stay with current trends, and they seek to provide features that are so beneficial to churches. Further, you cannot beat the price you pay for an app and online giving solution. They are top tier in customer service, technology and affordability.

Cons: Being a smaller company, there have been times we would have liked quicker communication; however, this is a minor complaint. They are not waiting days to reply in that case, only hours. That is acceptable unless it is urgent to you :) I have zero legitimate complaints about Aware3.

Overall: Aware3 assists us in providing a safe, secure online giving solution for our church. It is an easy-to-use giving portal that allows the end user control over their giving. They also help us to provide an instantaneous way of reaching out to our church members via the app for our church.

Pros: It integrates with Church Community Builder (CCB), which is a big win for us. I also really like the simple button layout. It's very clean and easy to navigate for users. I haven't heard one bad thing from a congregant, and we have a couple thousand downloads.

The company has been great to work with. Very responsive with support and listens to ideas.

Cons: I feel like some things work differently between Android and iOS, like push notifications. They don't clear on Android when you hit them. They must be cleared manually. Also, clicking a push notification doesn't take you to the message. It simply opens the app. Kind of annoying to click the notification, it opens the app, then I need to go the menu to view notifications, then click on the notification to read it, then go back and manually clear the notification from my drop-down on my phone.

Overall: This connects us to our congregation. They have easy access to forms, calendars, sermons, and a barcode for checking their kids in. For those that have created a login in the app, when they update their info it updates our database. Huge win!

The app is way easier to navigate and find things on a phone compared to our website. This helps church members not grow frustrated when they want something quick and easy.

Aware3 is top of the line. They understand our congregation and their needs.

Pros: The software is incredibly simple to learn and use. The dashboard is easy to navigate and changes apply in real-time. Our church loves how they can easily navigate the app and find whatever they need. One of the HUGE benefits for us is that the software partners with Church Community Builder without any issues. We use CCB for everything in our church from finances to volunteer scheduling to mass emailing. The forms we build integrate with the app will the ease and it's really improved our communication overall.

Cons: The only thing that I'm not crazy about is having to contact support each time that we need to add or remove a tile. It would be nice to have an option to choose a tile, a template for the tile and then add it to the active tiles already in the app.

Overall it's great solution.

Pros: The base app is very affordable. It's integrated with our church management system (Church Community Builder), which allows us to have a greater level of engagement. The features are easy to use and understand. I like that Aware3 continues to add feature and functionality to the app. It requires very little management and oversight once you get everything setup.

Cons: My biggest complaint is the pricing structure. I really don't like that some feature cost extra to get. I feel like if you pay monthly for the app, any update/upgrades should be included. As an admin, I also wish that I was able to add more feature tiles myself. The process of getting feature tiles added to our portal is a little clunky. Also, our geo-targeted push notifications don't work. They did 1 time, and have failed multiple times.

Overall: It's a low maintenance mobile presence. It makes it easy to provide a mobile solution to churches that otherwise wouldn't have one. We have a higher engagement level due to the integration with our ChMS. The customer service is very responsive.

Pros: I like the ease of use and maintenance. I am not super technical, and feel very comfortable changing things. I like that the updates happen quickly. I like the wide variety of different access buttons, and the ability to send push notifications in a variety of different ways.

Cons: That you have to use their financial software to access the text messaging. We are locked into contract with someone else and it is working well, and we would love that feature. I also, wish that I could add or subtract buttons based on my need, and not have to access a customer service rep to change my available buttons. Sometimes I need more one time link buttons.

Pros: Aware3 offers an incredible product at an affordable price. The first app company our church went with offered an app for free with only a minor monthly fee. too good to be true, and the company closed. Aware3 understands what churches want and keep the price at an affordable rate while providing great functionality. Thanks for keeping us up-to-date, and for helping us with our mission. We absolutely love and believe in Aware3.

Cons: At times, we find ourselves wanting to do something and find some limitations inside the app. However, the staff at Aware3 have always been willing to help us make our dreams happen and work alongside of us until we have what we desire.

Overall: Ease of instant communication with our church members, ability easily get media content to our members, offer great online giving that is both simplistic and mobile

Pros: This app functions very well and has some very good features for a church that does not have a big budget for technology. It is very affordable. Service and support are excellent. A church can get all the main things a church would want to have mobile device accessible with the Aware 3 church app.

Cons: Features and Customization are limited compared to the leading church app. This is the only con, in my opinion, and a church could not go wrong with the Aware 3 product.

Pros: We like the professional look and functionality it gives our church.

Cons: Customer service...can't talk to a human...have to email and middle little way through on our own when we have a question/issue.

Overall: Would like to be able to talk one on one with someone over the phone. I feel that once we signed on that we were on our own. I do NOT like having to email someone and wait on a response that usually ends up consisting of a link or or a cut & paste response.

Pros: The app was for the most part easy to use. It was easy to upload notes for people to see in regard to a weekly message. I liked that I could see the givers on a rolling list. I liked the dash board

Cons: It doesn't work with CCB webware...the notes area was not very intuitive. If you put a number in there in an outline form it would not do a continuous numbering order. So I had to put parenthesis around numbers to get it to work...very annoying

Pros: The variety of features, ease of management, and integration with our backend database make this an ideal tool for our congregation. I love being able to quickly integrate existing tools from our website and CCB installation into our mobile app without having to manage multiple setups and multiple data stores. The support team is also very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient.

Cons: I wish we could get updates more regularly - it is a bit frustrating to hear that a new feature was added that we could benefit from, but then have to wait 6 months for our next update.

Pros: For one low price, Aware3 provided us with both the phone app our church was looking for, along with online payments - even with a guarantee that we would receive at least as much or more in online payments as we'd be paying each month. We receive FAR, far more each month than we are paying for the phone app! Also, their online access to the features of the phone app are very easy to use and change whenever we need to. We are very happy with this software!

Cons: What I like least about the software is on the payment processing side - there is no easy way to edit our donor's information the way that we'd like to. For instance, if someone has a recurring payment but needs to change their credit card, the only way to accomplish that (that I've found) is to cancel the old transaction and create a new one with the new card. Another payment processor that we use gives us full access to our donor's records, where we can change their credit cards for them, update their payment amount, etc.

Overall: Having a phone app for our church, along with payment processing.

Pros: It integrates pretty darn well with Church Community Builders, our church's CRM solution. The key for us is the ability to send notifications to mobile devices, which Aware3 delivers at a price much less than that of the competition.

Cons: If I were to complain about anything, it would be that some of the features (live polling, chat, and outbound text) seem to be priced higher than their value. But we just choose not to use those features. I hope Aware3 doesn't use that as a model going forward...that the newest developments will only be available at higher pay tiers (vs. being included in the existing subscription cost).

The geo-targeted notifications are very hit-or-miss as well, although I understand that this may be more of a carrier problem than an Aware3 problem.

Finally, as a bleeding-edge Android device user, it sometimes get the feeling that the Aware3 app is designed / tested with Apple devices in mind first. But they've been very responsive about responding to (and fixing) Android bugs.

Pros: I love how easy it is to give! People find it so easy and they are surprised when they can simply text to give or use the church app. The church app has also been a blessing because people can use it for sermon notes and announcements! It has completely changed the way we preach the Word of God!

Cons: I wish the giving page (on mobile and desktop) would look more secure and more customized. I know you are trying to give it a clean look, but it's almost too clean. Having a statement, an image, or something, showing that it's secure would be wonderful! Also, I don't like how the downloads stat on the dashboard is not accurate. I wish I knew how many people actually downloaded the app and how many people use the sermon notes, and maybe even who has used it.

Overall: Giving became easier and increased and we get a church app! Very cool!

Pros: The app they gave us is easy to update, looks good, and does everything we need it to. Their video, rss feed, form, and calendar options all integrate nicely with our systems, and anything that doesn't have a direct integration, you can link to your website seamlessly. It's great.

Cons: Would appreciate some different or more flexible visual options. The current look works for us, and I feel we've done well with it, but I feel it could look better.

Pros: I like the ease of the reconciling now that it has changed. Also, anytime I have needed help, support has been quick to get back to me and follow up. I also like personalized receipting.

Cons: I don't like that I cannot do more to change or merge previous accounts before they come across to my database.

Pros: The features of the app are great for churches - you can include sermon notes, your church calendar, announcements, Check-In, online giving and more. The interface is very easy to use to manage it as well.

Cons: I wish that there were some way to have a Member Directory included so church members can interact on the app. There is a chat feature, so that is nice.

Overall: Aware 3 has been a great company to work with. They are very quick to respond when I email or call, and they were very helpful in getting the app setup.

Pros: If you're looking for an app that you can launch quickly and easily, then you must consider Aware3. High level of functionality, but simple to set up.

Cons: Being able to set up the push notifications so that the entire messaging can be seeing when people receive the notification on their phones.

Overall: We have had a good experience with Aware3. The app runs seamlessly with never any tech issues.

Pros: It was great that we could design the app to match with our existing logos and look. It's easy to navigate and use the different buttons (forms, calendar, listen to podcasts, watch videos, etc.).

Cons: The first time you give using the app, you determine how you give (credit card or checking). It's nice that it automatically fills that in on the second use, but is difficult to switch if you don't want to give using the same method later on. And, for some reason, our "Give" button isn't even showing up right now; instead, I have two "Listen" buttons. ??

Pros: Ease of use and setup. It's easy to manage features and quickly make changes.

Cons: I wish there were tighter integrations with Church Management Software (CCB). Profiles should be managed in CMS, but Aware 3 forces you to create a profile then reconcile.

Add and removing app features should be allowed by the church administrator. Not all features can be managed. There should also be a "preview" feature after making changes before pushing it out to live app.

I also wish the app can get updated much more frequently.

Pros: Integrates seamlessly with our database system CCB), Customization features are almost endless. Customer support is the bomb!

Cons: If you are looking for an app that doesn't require any effort, this isn't it - it won't magically do what you want it to do. But it's almost there and the thing I like is it offers you control of some design, interface, and customization. Most of the rest are what they are and you can't change a thing without jumping through lots of hoops.

Aware 3 does an awesome job keeping people connected to the life of our church!

Pros: Easy to use, great customer service, friendly back-end software. Aware 3 keeps adding additional features such as the sermon notes which are a great way to keep people connected to the church and growing in their faith.

Cons: We would always love more features - but there really aren't many negatives. Could the podcast interface be improved slightly with more functionality? Better iPad interface so the screen will rotate? Maybe more integration with CCB?

Pros: Its very simple to use. The team offer options to work around anything that isn't built into the system at the moment to get to our end goals.

Cons: I would love to have a character counter for push messages, which I have suggested. I post a daily scripture and have to take it to an online character counter first before I can determine if it will work. Also, 130 characters isn't enough for an important announcement.

The iPad orientation doesn't automatically see when I'm in landscape mode (even at the outset being at landscape), requiring that I turn my iPad back and forth several times before responding.

Overall: Outstanding! Everyone is very nice, helpful, and open to suggestions. They also helped me to create a work-around solution to the way that I was using one of the functions to best suit the design of our app and the needs of our congregation.

Pros: The ease people have to give online and the integration with Church Community Builder.

Cons: The people profile section is unclean and disorganized. People just keep creating profiles that need merged. I experienced glitches with trying to merge profiles.

Wish I could search transactions by fund. Wish the Campaign could have more than 1 fund linked to it. I especially would like Aware3 to be able to automatically count gifts given to a FUND that is linked to the Campaign to he total given amount (even if the giver did not choose "Campaign.")

Overall: Customer service is great. Experienced some minor glitches. Pretty easy to use over all.

Pros: The easy to use and assemble interface makes it easy to go from zero to ready in no time. The app is also constantly updated and the new features are always welcome.

Cons: As with most church-related app vendors, I find it a bit overpriced. As a software engineer it's difficult to justify hosting prices that most vendors charge. Aware3 is a bit more affordable than others and we use it for the overall cost/benefits.

Pros: Not being a "techie" I appreciate that Aware3 has made a great app that doesn't really require anything of me. I update the website, and Aware3 pulls information from there. It's easy! People are giving more since we've been using it. They can set up payment plans and forget about it, knowing they have their tithes and offerings automatically withdrawn every month. They have always been prompt to respond when I've had a question, but those have been few and far between because they make it simple from the start.

Cons: There are a lot of options that we simply don't need for our congregation's size, however, as we grow I can see how all of them will be beneficial.

Overall: It's easy and the people are lovely.

Pros: We appreciate Aware3's ability to improve with advancements in technology. There are so many features that have improved the way our church interacts with people. The giving is especially good, and we use the push notifications all the time.

Cons: The geo-targeting feature does not always work, but everything else works great. We wouldn't have chosen it if it didn't.

Overall: Giving has gone up. We have more people using repeating gifts. Interaction with visitors has improved, and it is extremely helpful in getting the word out about important events.

They've been great for our online giving for the church here in Virginia Beach.

Pros: Ease of use for people giving, as well as the capability of covering the processing fees. It's been great to see that our people can give to things that matter and it has drivenour giving to be at 87% giving through online and the rest from directly in service (cash/checks).

Cons: The mobile app that comes included is solid, but limited in some of the things we'd like to do. But it's not the end of the world. We will still use the giving side and probably move to a web application. It's not bad, but there are some different things we'd like to do with it. One hurdle is getting the new person to download an app. It's easier for them to go to a link at any time. We've found only 60% of people have gone to download an app, while 78% will go to a link and save it to their home screen. Again, nothing against the mobile app, but we want to maximize engagement.

Pros: In the time since we started using Aware3 for our app the amount of customization has increased quite a bit. We love the app and our church members use it frequently for many different things. I really like the mosaic style and how easy it is to change the layout of the app.

Cons: The UI isn't as smooth as I would like sometimes and I wish that I could customize the transitions between pages a little bit. Moving backgrounds or animated tiles would be a really cool design addition as well.

Pros: Once you set up your church branded app, it is EASY to make changes. Their customer service and help is user friendly! We have implemented this system - and as a user and administrator, this product fulfils a specific need for us.

Cons: Sometimes Android users find this app cumbersome. It is set up more for Apple/IOS users. For example, Android users have to manually clear notifications.

Overall: This app easily connects us to our congregation. Push notifications, uploading documents, sermon notes, etc. NO PROBLEM!! We find that many people use the app more than our website.

Pros: I like how it can communicate with CCB. This helps us a ton in our ministry. We heavily rely on CCB, so to have a tool that allows our attenders to interact with our CCB accounts is very helpful.

The give feature is very nice. It makes it quick and easy for someone new to give. We had a church financial guy come to our church and he tested out online giving experience and he was very pleased on how easy it was to give online.

Cons: I think the app loads a little slow sometimes which make it not 100% reliable. It sometimes creates duplicates of user accounts.

Overall: Our online giving increased. We are able to communicate with over 1600 devices through push notifications.

Pros: The different options we have to use it for is great. Payments, calendar, notes, etc. All of that is great.

Cons: Our main reason for getting an app was so that we could have people listen to our sermons via the app easily. However, because of how it syncs from iTunes and because that takes over a week to do, no one actually uses it because the sermons are always out of date and not available when people need them.

Overall: Looks good and give you an app presence on smart phones without paying a ton of money.

Pros: I like the layout options and the ability to have however many icon selections I desire and ability to place them in the order I want. There is a nice variety of options already to go. options can be hidden very easily and new ones created in a breeze. Dashboard is very helpful with great information on what people are selecting and spending their time on.

Cons: We would probably do a lot more with this software if it was more user friendly. Changing the icons for us took lots of photoshop work and importing. Setting most of the options up is an above-average job and can eat up some precious time. I would love to have some of my part-time staff doing updates but it would be a large learning curve. Having an IT and design background has been helpful but still face some challenges with this.

It has allowed us to easily be able to reach a group of people that we haven't been able to before.

Pros: The Ease of Use - it is easy to quickly go in and update and it updates in real time, which is super helpful when information needs to be changed at the last minute.

Cons: It is a bit frustrating to have to continually connect with Customer Support to be able to add on features, take off features, or adjust the account in any way. It would be nice to be able to actually be fully in charge and be able to administer the account without feeling like we need to ask permission to change something.

Examples - It would be nice to easily add or delete admins to our account or quickly and easily be able to add features by just a quick click of the button instead of contacting Customer Service. Though the team is quick and friendly in it's response, it still feels like we're not in total control of our account.

Cons: I use the push notification feature often. I don't care for the 130 character limit.

Overall: Overall it has been a positive experience. The only issue I had was when it was time to renew and Apple had a new renewal process, which required me to deal with Apple directly. It turned out to be a very lengthy process due to Apple's processes and the Aware3 people were good about communicating with me and responding to me through emails. However, there were several times I preferred to speak with someone over the phone and I was never able to after asking for a phone contact repeatedly.

Pros: It's easy to setup. For a small church like ours, it's one of the most affordable solutions available. The payment plan we were initially on, made it possible for us to even consider a church app.

Cons: I would've loved a quicker update cycle instead of the twice-yearly cycle currently used. It would be nice to be able to setup sermon series in the listen feature in the same way that's now available with video feature. The forms creating tool needs more features such radio buttons, ability to resize text boxes and lay them out side by side if needed. At this point all forms element can only be laid out one over the other.

Overall: Our congregation has been able to stay connected with the church and our various activities through the app. Many people are able to hear the audio sermons or give their offerings even when the missed a service.

Customer service has always been very helpful and prompt and they look for ways to improve.

Pros: The app integrates with our church database system data base and I am the bookkeeper so the easy of identifying credit card transactions that are processed through the app is really nice.

Cons: Don't really have any major cons. Again as the bookkeeper, the only thing that I can think of is it would be nice to have a settlement identifier for the credit card transactions that are processed through the app. I run a transaction report out of CCB and the transactions that come from the app do not have a settlement number so it makes it a little difficult to batch them together to match a deposit, but it usually isn't to difficult.

Overall: The integration of the app with Church Community Builder.

Pros: I love how easy it is to edit the content on our app. I don't have to contact someone every time I want to make changes. It's user friendly and straightforward.

Pros: The Aware3 software is a valuable tool for the people in our congregation to engage with the sermon on Sunday mornings, and all throughout the week. The ability to embed video, audio podcasts, have sermon note fill-in-the-blanks, a Bible feature, visitor forms, and so on, make this a valuable tool for our church. Plus we appreciate that Aware3 is one of the few software company's that sync with CCB.

Cons: The app itself has a habit of running slowly, and push notifications are sometimes irregular (such as geo-targeted push notes never showing up, or general push notes coming through devices twice.)

Pros: It definitely allows a small org. like us to have a robust app and giving platform that helps us grow!

Cons: I wish the giving platform allowed for pages that take away all fund giving and campus giving options depending on the application of the giving. For instance, on our website, if we're looking to take in money for a specific program, it would be great to have the functionality to send them to a page that only allows them to give to that particular fund. Also, I wish there was functionality for admins to not only cancel recurring payments, but to also switch which fund individuals are giving to in case of a mistake or because of an update to a fund name.

Pros: The software is highly configurable. We are able to orchestrate just the experience we want for visitors and regular attenders. We have a high adoption rate for taking sermon notes, giving and accessing the event calendar through the app. We've also found the people at Aware3 to be highly responsive if we've had a question.

Cons: There are a couple of pieces of functionality that we'd like to see in the software that are yet to be implemented and not certain if they are even on the drawing board yet.

Overall: It's been an important part of crafting a great Sunday Morning experience for our church members and visitors.

Pros: It's simple to use as an admin and a user.

The features available to small churches in the basic package are stellar and practical for what we're needing for communication and productivity.

As an admin, the customer support has been vital; one of the best I've experienced in a long while.

Cons: No complaints here! I'm sure if I thought harder I could find one or two tweaks I'd like to see, but nothing off the top of my head.

Overall: From start to finish; set-up and customer support; everything has been pretty seemless.

CCB could take a few lessons on how to make one's platform user friendly and streamlined, but I digress.

Couldn't ask for a better church app, with loads of room to grow!

Pros: The cost of the app is perfect. Once you learn how to use the app, it really is easy to use. The support staff has been prompt and helpful every single time. I like being able to see the dashboards so quickly. It helps know how people are engaged with the app.

Cons: Thought it connected better with CCB database system. The fonts used for the sign up forms are too light. They are really hard to read on the app. Not sure why this hasn't been changed.

Overall: Connection point for our people. A great way for them to stay connected while away, traveling or just to keep up during the week while they are away from the church.

Pros: This app has given us a whole different "face" and connection to our congregation. It brings much of our information in one concise location. This gives those who are part of Father's House a clean and clear central location to access and engage with the Father's House. It also gives a great place for registering for activities and events and for participating in financial giving.

Cons: Has been a little bit of a learning curve to be able to post to the app. However, it is not as complex as earlier software attempts.

Pros: Aware3 makes it easy to see our weekly online giving and they don't make you jump through any hoops to get to the data. I love the app that Aware3 provides along with the membership as well and the customer service has been phenomenal!

Cons: The only con Aware3 is that we are charged if our church doesn't bring in enough money, it's understandable though.

Pros: I really appreciate the ability to make the app unique to our church. Even though the app has a standard style, I still am able to make it look unique to us.

Pros: It's easy to use and a fantastic value for the money. As a small church with a part-time communications coordinator, we don't have the time and energy to manage things on many platforms simultaneously. We've been pleasantly surprised with how much we've been able to do through this app - even things like geographically targeted push notifications with a few simple clicks.

Cons: I would love to see more opportunities to interface with Church Community Builder. Features have been added that have been really helpful, but it would be great to continue to develop that functionality.

Overall: ability to be present in app environments and not just website. Good organization of our content in an easy-to-use app.

Pros: It does have a nice contemporary look that is completely customizable for your organization. It gathers all our different platforms to one central location for our congregation to use.

Cons: It took a while to figure out how they wanted things done. Some of our custom buttons were very hard to create. There was A LOT of trial and error trying to get everything to look right on IOS and android platforms.

Overall: It give us one central location to push everyone to.

Pros: The customer support team replies quickly and works with you to a resolution. I also like their immediate updates.

Cons: Users often after to render their profiles when paying through or donating in app. You have to call customer support to add features that should be easily selected from. It is annoying and does not make sense.

Pros: I like the ease at which it allows our donors to give regularly. I've never had a donor express difficulty using the giving feature with Aware3. I also appreciate that they integrate into our donor system, Planning Center. Overall this means less duplicate work for the accountant.

Cons: I do not like the data sorting on the back end for the accountant view. I would like a summary report and better print view options.

Overall: They have awesome customer service and always have a quick response time to any of our questions!

Pros: I love the integration with CCB and the giving platform. It is great to have profiles/forms/giving input automatically into Church Community builder. It is very flexible with the type things you can do with it. We do Sermon notes, Announcements, Check-in, forms, Listen. We encourage our church to use it as often as possible.

Pros: I like the customization is pretty easy on here. I like that there's a lot you can customize (I wish it was easier to add on features though). I also like that it's truly mobile responsive for all devices that I've tried it on. I like that it's helping to engage our guests and attenders in a very modern way.

Cons: I hate that it's not truly a multi-campus software. We have had multiple issues with campus information crossing over, and in turn had to buy a second account for our second campus. Also don't like that some of the features, like texting, is a paid add-on...wish everything was included if you offer it.

The custom app has been great for congregational engagement, and the giving interface is fast/clean!

Pros: Our attendees have quickly and easily obtained the app through the text to act interface (or through app store). Having church info and forms at their fingertips has greatly improved our communication and engagement. Our previous online giving provider had a giving app, but only a few members ever used it. In the first months with the Aware3 app, we have seen mobile app giving increase ten-fold. It's too early for us to tell if overall giving has increased due to having the app, but we are very pleased that people are quickly beginning to use it, and that it is making online giving easier for them. The forms generator and notifications to admins are excellent.

Cons: The admin interface and report options are a bit clunky/weak. Online gifts can't be split between different funds. We have not been able to get geo-fencing to work for push notifications as attendees arrive to our property. The option for the app to sync individual profiles with our CCB (Church Community Builder) database did not work well for us. These weaknesses have not deterred our enthusiasm for and gratitude for the app.

Pros: The best part of Aware3 is their integration with CCB. We don't have to create data in 2 places, it seamlessly syncs across platforms. The Text-to-act feature is amazing as well, we use that a lot! Customer service is AMAZING! It is great to have all of our information in one spot for our congregation to have access to.

Cons: The only thing that hinders us sometimes is that we have to ask for features by emailing customer support. They answer right away, but it would be nice to be able to add a feature without having extra steps.

Overall: We received a great looking app that fit our church's personality and worked like it should.

Pros: We weren't locked into templates and the look of others. We got to be us. They went back and forth with us as many times as needed until we got what we wanted. To top that off, we have plenty of control and don't have to go through their help desk for every change. We've got our own access.

Cons: Some changes require us to wait until contract renewal to update. Not a big deal at all. This actually is very understandable to us.

Pros: The versatility of the app is my favorite feature The app allows our church body to give online, listen to past messages, access the activities calendar, and watch videos

Cons: The newer features of the app tend to be a little difficult to understand I have been interested in launching some of the featured options in the past, but when I attempted to implement them, I had some difficulty understanding how to implement them
