Pros

The Ease of Use - it is easy to quickly go in and update and it updates in real time, which is super helpful when information needs to be changed at the last minute.

Cons

It is a bit frustrating to have to continually connect with Customer Support to be able to add on features, take off features, or adjust the account in any way. It would be nice to be able to actually be fully in charge and be able to administer the account without feeling like we need to ask permission to change something. Examples - It would be nice to easily add or delete admins to our account or quickly and easily be able to add features by just a quick click of the button instead of contacting Customer Service. Though the team is quick and friendly in it's response, it still feels like we're not in total control of our account.

This app easily connects us to our congregation. Push notifications, uploading documents, sermon notes, etc. NO PROBLEM!! We find that many people use the app more than our website.

Pros

Once you set up your church branded app, it is EASY to make changes. Their customer service and help is user friendly! We have implemented this system - and as a user and administrator, this product fulfils a specific need for us.

Cons

Sometimes Android users find this app cumbersome. It is set up more for Apple/IOS users. For example, Android users have to manually clear notifications.

Pros

I like the customization is pretty easy on here. I like that there's a lot you can customize (I wish it was easier to add on features though). I also like that it's truly mobile responsive for all devices that I've tried it on. I like that it's helping to engage our guests and attenders in a very modern way.

Cons

I hate that it's not truly a multi-campus software. We have had multiple issues with campus information crossing over, and in turn had to buy a second account for our second campus. Also don't like that some of the features, like texting, is a paid add-on...wish everything was included if you offer it.

### "Really Good App"

Overall experience with Aware3 has been good. They're providing our church with an app that is a great tool for our congregation.

Pros

There are a LOT of features packed in here.

Cons

The user interface is pretty wonky. You can usually get it to do what you want, but it takes longer because it's not intuitive. For example: in the UI for the app, there is an icon for a magnifying glass. Everyone knows that's the universal icon for search, right? Nope - in here it's how you get to the settings for that particular button. It works, it's just a little weird.

Aware3 support has been fantastic. Anytime we’ve had an issue or even a dumb question they’ve been there to help out.

Pros

Aware3 has really helped us develop much better connections with our church attendees during the week and they’ve been able to better connect with us. App features are easy to use and navigate and provide a wide variety of resources for both the casual user and the in-depth user.

Cons

Nothing really. We really don’t have anything negative to say about it.

We've really loved aware3. As a newer church, it's allowed us to have a great looking, affordable app that keeps our church connected, informed, and engaged.

Pros

Great looking. Syncs with CCB calendar, groups, online giving, etc. Continually adding new features.

Cons

Only update features 2x per year... find myself waiting impatiently. :)

Our online giving increased. We are able to communicate with over 1600 devices through push notifications.

Pros

I like how it can communicate with CCB. This helps us a ton in our ministry. We heavily rely on CCB, so to have a tool that allows our attenders to interact with our CCB accounts is very helpful. The give feature is very nice. It makes it quick and easy for someone new to give. We had a church financial guy come to our church and he tested out online giving experience and he was very pleased on how easy it was to give online.

Cons

I think the app loads a little slow sometimes which make it not 100% reliable. It sometimes creates duplicates of user accounts.

We received a great looking app that fit our church's personality and worked like it should.

Pros

The best part of Aware3 is their integration with CCB. We don't have to create data in 2 places, it seamlessly syncs across platforms. The Text-to-act feature is amazing as well, we use that a lot! Customer service is AMAZING! It is great to have all of our information in one spot for our congregation to have access to.

Cons

The only thing that hinders us sometimes is that we have to ask for features by emailing customer support. They answer right away, but it would be nice to be able to add a feature without having extra steps.

Pros

We like that people can be informed about what is happening in our ministry. We also like the feature for tithe and offering. Easy for the user to use. For a programmer, once it is set up it makes it easy to maintain. Also the fact that it adapts quickly with CCB, make it easy on communicating with members.

Cons

For a new programmer, in setting up the app, it takes a lot of time to understand how to create and adjust information. Also working with the Apple update has not been the most easy situation to handle. It has been time consuming to get it worked out.

I like how easy it is to use the Aware3 control panel. It is largely intuitive and straightforward.

Cons

The graphical layout is not quite as customizable as I would prefer. We were a bit restricted in our design choices.

Doesn't integrate directly with our ChMS. We started being charged before it was ready to implement and deploy.

The integration of the app with Church Community Builder.

Pros

The app integrates with our church database system data base and I am the bookkeeper so the easy of identifying credit card transactions that are processed through the app is really nice.

Cons

Don't really have any major cons. Again as the bookkeeper, the only thing that I can think of is it would be nice to have a settlement identifier for the credit card transactions that are processed through the app. I run a transaction report out of CCB and the transactions that come from the app do not have a settlement number so it makes it a little difficult to batch them together to match a deposit, but it usually isn't to difficult.

Pros

There are so many easy to use and navigate back office options to make this the the perfect tool for building and maintaining our app. I also appreciate that they are continually improving their product - not a once and done company.

Cons

I can’t say there is anything I dislike about the software.

The quality is very professional and offers the perfect resources for our church and ministry. It has been a great tool to connect too our members

Cons

The platform to edit the different sections where a bit confusing at times but customer service was very helpful. Having a background in design is helpful to navigate and make changes to the look and feel of the app.

Overall it has been a positive experience. The only issue I had was when it was time to renew and Apple had a new renewal process, which required me to deal with Apple directly. It turned out to be a very lengthy process due to Apple's processes and the Aware3 people were good about communicating with me and responding to me through emails. However, there were several times I preferred to speak with someone over the phone and I was never able to after asking for a phone contact repeatedly.

Pros

User friendly, I'm able to communicate easily with my audience in a professional manner.

Cons

I use the push notification feature often. I don't care for the 130 character limit.

The ability to have an app for our church which was so easy to set up and manage is such a blessing.

Pros

It is super easy. I am not a web or app designer. Their interface is easy to understand for even a novice like me. And can I just say CUSTOMER SUPPORT!! They were so quick to return my inquiry each time I have contacted them. Turns out I really didn't even need them because as soon as I asked the question, I saw the answer.

Cons

The one draw back about this software is...hold on...I'm thinking...still thinking. I give up. I got nothin'!

Texting Campaigns involving our church.

Pros

Aware3's texting feature makes communicating last minute information super easy! Their text back campaigns also provide an easy way for church members to receive the information they need in a digital age.

Cons

My only complaint is I wise the texting number itself was more of a shortcode than an actual phone number. Much easier to text "Fun" to 12345 than 123.456.7890

Needs more applicable features. Hindered by the inability to add some things. Would like some areas that could opened up for more personalized use. I have no use for certain functionality that's built in to tha app & but would love to have space to create our own functionality.

Easy integration into our giving software and quickbooks

Pros

Easy of integration into CCB. Dashboard makes it easy to see trends. Lots of information readily available.

Cons

Reports are not easy to run. Have to create unique parameters in order to get what i want. Wish there was a way to add or arrange columns so that on a smaller screen can get all the data of a row that I need instead of scrolling back and forth especially on the transaction page
