Editing features is simple and flexible. The dashboard is extremely helpful for viewing how the app is being used. The team is quick to respond to any needs you might have. Cons Though they've made some upgrades to make the app look more sleek and modern, it doesn't compare with some of the other app software out there in having that "modern, young" look. Pros Everyone loves our mobile app, for ease of use, attractive design, and overall functionality~ Aware3 certainly knows what they are doing, and it's helped our church communicate, stay connected, and increase engagement among our members. Cons Back and forth between the main areas, such as developing forms, adding them to the register function under App, etc. Also didn't want to add URL for our Constant Contact using Chrome for some reason. Integrations with videos and podcast are also very helpful. Cons Delay in getting new features added to our specific app can be frustrating. Pros I like the ease at which it allows our donors to give regularly. I've never had a donor express difficulty using the giving feature with Aware3. I also appreciate that they integrate into our donor system, Planning Center. Overall this means less duplicate work for the accountant. Cons I do not like the data sorting on the back end for the accountant view. I would like a summary report and better print view options. It is great to have profiles/forms/giving input automatically into Church Community builder. It is very flexible with the type things you can do with it. We do Sermon notes, Announcements, Check-in, forms, Listen. We encourage our church to use it as often as possible. Cons Nothing major. Going with Aware3 has been the best choice to really professionalize our event registration, online giving and the way we communicate. Pros It has the capability to do so much! Not only did it help us great a mobile​ app but it also helped us take our online giving to a new professional level. Cons I think the only thing is that we aren't able to add a ​user (admin) on our end and have to email every time we need to add someone. January 17, 2018 2.0 I got benefits? Pros Cheap. In other words, inexpensive. It's literally the main reason we've had it as long as we have. Cons Cheap means poor product. Features are clean and easy to understand. Support is great as they are friendly and attentive. The most difficult part was getting the apple developer license, but that is a step that is required no matter what platform you choose. We just went live with the app and people seem to be engaging with it quickly. Cons I can't really think of anything that I don't like. Cons It's not particularly easy to manage behind the scenes. Reformatting seems daunting, and its extra features are cumbersome to efficiently maximize. Associate Pastor Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "The custom app has been great for congregational engagement, and the giving interface is fast/clean!" January 19, 2018 4.0 Pros Our attendees have quickly and easily obtained the app through the text to act interface (or through app store). Having church info and forms at their fingertips has greatly improved our communication and engagement. Our previous online giving provider had a giving app, but only a few members ever used it. In the first months with the Aware3 app, we have seen mobile app giving increase ten-fold. It’s too early for us to tell if overall giving has increased due to having the app, but we are very pleased that people are quickly beginning to use it, and that it is making online giving easier for them. The forms generator and notifications to admins are excellent. Cons The admin interface and report options are a bit clunky/weak. Online gifts can't be split between different funds. We have not been able to get geo-fencing to work for push notifications as attendees arrive to our property. The option for the app to sync individual profiles with our CCB (Church Community Builder) database did not work well for us. These weaknesses have not deterred our enthusiasm for and gratitude for the app. Review Source PW Patrick W. Usually the response is very fast and we've walked through several issues together. Pros Really easy set up for our people to walk through. Understandable. Customizable. Just neat and clean and pretty easy to edit form the admin side. Cons We like that it integrates with CCB in many areas, but one one way financially. However, if you are looking to have more customizable options and more flexibility with layout, then I would suggest another software. Pros The layout of this software is very easy to navigate, not overwhelming. It is an easy software for beginners. Cons As our organization grew, we needed an app that allowed for more customizable features. Aware3 doesn't really provide the opportunities to expand into more creative or customizable options. We were looking for more features that allow more interaction from the user, and with our template from Aware3, we weren't able to reach that goal. Review Source KH Kate H. " January 18, 2018 5.0 Pros We weren't locked into templates and the look of others. We got to be us. They went back and forth with us as many times as needed until we got what we wanted. To top that off, we have plenty of control and don't have to go through their help desk for every change. We've got our own access.
