Cons

The newer features of the app tend to be a little difficult to understand I have been interested in launching some of the featured options in the past, but when I attempted to implement them, I had some difficulty understanding how to implement them

Pros

I love the user's experience of a customized app while being an off the shelf solution with all the benefits that comes from dependable software code.

Cons

With its web-based interface sometimes the users slow internet can translate into a negative app experience.

Setting up features for the first time can be challenging. For example getting audio of sermons on the app is something we are still trying to get done.

Pros

Aware3 makes managing our app's content very easy and quick. Even though I have no experience coding, or managing apps, I have been able to do exactly what comes to mind when thinking of an edit because the website is so easy to use.

Cons

There is no real-time customer support. Sometimes there is an urgent issue and we have to send an email and wait rather than call or chat with a rep.

It has been great. Immediate response to all inquiries.

Pros

We have seen an increase in online giving and support by using this software. Allowing donors to cover the fees associated with their gifts has increased as well. The ease of setting it up as well as reporting on the back end has been extremely helpful. Thank you for the opportunity to share our experience.

Cons

Email to notify of outright gifts. Have to log in daily and refresh to monitor non-form gifts.

The biggest is event signups (so people can signup for something right then and there) and the Notes section so people can take notes during the message.

Pros

Customer service is fast and efficient. App is easy to use (once you get used to it) and it looks great.

The ability to connect to a very mobile demographic and another stream of giving.

Pros

The ability to connect with other platforms like our website and youtube has been a huge help. We also enjoy the great customer service we receive. It is great to reach all over the world to a very mobile demographic. The giving feature has also been a huge help to us.

Cons

The ability to get addresses from those who give. Would like to integrate our online registration to our app so they can register in both places downloadable in a format that could merge together but have not been able to do so.

Pros

The software is pretty easy to use. There's something of a learning curve, but overall, everything makes sense and the customer support is always available to answer questions. The customer support is really why we signed up for this in the first place: Their replies are prompt--usually the same day, often in the same hour. They're always able to explain matters clearly and accurately and are consistently positive and pleasant to work with.

Cons

Text and push messages cannot be scheduled from the app itself and have to be scheduled at least 20 minutes ahead of time, making them unhelpful in situations where a fast turnaround is important (For example, a room change at a conference)

Good, informative, keeps congregation connected. Increases the relational aspect of our church. The flexibility and options make it easy to communicate all the activities at the church on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

Cons

Giving area. Does not provide an easy way to update recurring giving schedules for amount and frequency and payment method. Must cancel current schedule and start from scratch.

Pros

I do not know any computer code language. I only manage content on Aware3 products, but the interface still allows me to make any needed changes regarding our app, online giving platform, or custom forms.

Cons

My least favorite feature is the texting. We had already chosen a texting service not long before finding Aware3. If Aware3 texting would have been more compelling we would have possible switched to it, but what really kept us away was the inability to have a two-way conversation via text. We need to be able to receive inbound messages.

I like that we can offer text giving and online giving with Aware 3 and that there are no monthly fees if we meet a minimum giving amount each month.

Cons

Cost for the app & additional features is too much for a church our size. I would consider using the text messaging service & app if the monthly fee were lower.

Pros

I really like a lot of the features that this software provides. There are so many things that help our people get connected and stay connected. When we first started the app through the software, I didn't understand fully how to use it even though the support staff did a great job explaining stuff. Just not my cup of tea apparently. But since then, we have had someone else take over the app and there are things that he is finding that have taken us to the next level.

Cons

I didn't like how there was issues with not using the giving portal. We already were using one but wanted to still use the app software that you had and there was a little issue with not using it. Got through it though.

Once this is set up, it works great! Can be set up for one time gift or for recurring giving.

Cons

Hard to set up for some people. Also, needs to have finger-print or facial recognition so a user doesn't have to remember their password.

Love the online sermons, calendar feature, online giving. So many helpful aspects to build community and connectedness at our church. Also, the customer service is outstanding. They are always quick to respond and solve problems we have.

Not sure I can name too many things. We've had some minor problems with connectivity from time to time.

The online portal is easy to use and the support team has been extremely responsive when I've had any questions or problems.

Cons

Over sold on how it would integrate with Church Community Builder. Has created multiple duplicates of people and the checkin-in function only creates an Excel spreadsheet that we would then have to enter manually to CCB.

Customizable. We've never hit a point where we wanted to do something in the app and haven't been able to. Also all the ways it lets us stay connected with our church.

I can't think of anything immediately. One thing that might be useful is an app that lets an administrator such as myself log into my app from my phone rather than only being able to do that from a computer.

It is easy to use, easy format to understand. The navigation of the website has been really easy to follow, which has made it fun and user-friendly.

Cons

It would be a amazing to be able to have some moving graphics, or transitions, from when you click on a tile to when the next page shows up. Just to keep it fun and exciting as the user is navigating the app.

I like that it integrates with CCB and YouVersion. Many features to choose from. They made it very easy to set up.

Cons

There are features that I wish the app offered. I like that sermons can be broken into series. However, the same is not true for podcasts. So all podcasts are grouped together and in a long string.

Pros

I love that our app pulls information from our database as well as our website. It makes my job of communicating over multiple platforms so much easier. And as church staff, I use the app on my phone as a quick-view tool when I'm not at my computer -- much better than trying to use the database website on my phone!

Cons

I am still learning how to add new tiles to our home screen, and it does not seem intuitive. When I'm doing something for the first time, it may take a couple of tries to get it right.
