Pros If we talk about speed and efficiency we have to refer to IDM365, our working group in the role of NOC LATAM Technical Support to fiber optic customers has a group of engineers distributed throughout the LATAM area and in turn have access to different applications depending on their geographical area, This is possible thanks to IDM365, thanks to its hybrid capability of access control based on roles and attributes (RBAC - ABAC) it is possible and extremely fast to modify the access of any member of the NOC team to grant access to any tool or if it is the case restrict access if it is not required for their functions; This means to optimize time and efforts which is very useful for our team. Cons I think that in very large organizations it would be a bit tedious to grant accesses according to the functions because as new personnel enters, it will require the creation of new roles which within the assignments will make the management inefficient, an alternative would be after creating the user IDs to regroup by some common attribute in order to assign the appropriate accesses; in fact, it is required initially to refine this process to avoid unsuitable accesses. Pros Of the most relevant aspects of IDM365 I can highlight the simplicity with which we can enable or disable users either because they enter the company and it is required to assign roles and permissions to their applications or otherwise temporarily or permanently suspend your user for vacation or termination of employment contract, this process in a matter of minutes is done successfully optimizing the processes that formerly were performed for such cases; Similar situation was had when the users' passwords expired because it required a wasteful process between departments and almost always the orders were solved after several hours but with the use of IDM365 and thanks to the self-management it is possible to renew the passwords in minutes allowing to continue the work to the employees who required such change, all this from the interface which is very simple and easy to use. Cons Taking into account the processes and the way they were carried out in the past and the way they are currently executed, I can consider that IDM365 efficiently optimized these processes, thanks to which the service level agreement increased with the achievement of management and responses to the daily requirements of the IT Group. The main reason for our decision is: - The corporation between IDM365 does IDM and only IDM. - The user interface is built as a tool for business users and not IT system specialists. In other words, it's lean, and easy to work with. - The license and integration model is 100% transparent. It takes away your worries of being tied in to a never ending range of "add-ons" and modules. - The sales and tech team is always on the same page as you. It's an honest, open and trustworthy dialogue. - The rather small organization offers a high degree of flexibility when needed. It's not a container ship, but a speedboat, which is what you need in the agile world of IT.
